The EA Sports Player Performance Index scores are now available, with the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points now added to the game. Once again, there are a few rather surprising benefactors. Here’s how they breakdown…

Wolves 2 Swansea 2
Doyle 3, O’Hara, Graham & Allen 2

Liverpool 1 Norwich 1
Holt 3, Bellamy 2, Gerrard 1

Bolton 0 Sunderland 2
Sessegnon 3, Bendtner 2, Larsson 1

Aston Villa 1 West Brom 2
Scharner 3, Brunt 2, Olsson 1

Newcastle 1 Wigan 0
Cabaye 3, Coloccini 2, Krul 1

Man United 1 Man City 6
Milner 3, Silva 2, Dzeko 1

Blackburn 1 Tottenham 2
Van der Vaart 3, Assou-Ekotto 2, Modric 1

Fulham 1 Everton 3
Drenthe 3, Rodwell 2, Saha 1

Arsenal 3 Stoke 1
Gervinho 3, Van Persie 2, Crouch 1

QPR 1 Chelsea 0
Ferdinand 3, Helguson 2, Hill 1

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Hey lads,
I really want RVP and VDV but not sure if I should get rid of Rooney for RVP and I should do it soon as RVP and VDV will rise soon:
    Given, Vorm
Richards, Bosingwa, Enrique, Simpson, De Laet
    Silva, Mata, Dyer, Sinclair, Moses
    Rooney, Aguero, Adebayor
Is it a big risk to not have any United coverage?

IMHO no. I sold Ashley Young last night for VDV so my only UTD coverage is Anderson (who I rotate as my 4th midfielder/1st on bench player and set up with a 3-4-3 each week).

Can’t say I’m too worried about it as unless the ever-streaky Rooney gets going again the ECL rotations will ensure there are no guaranteed UTD pts scorers in FPL

Not sure what I should do with them at the moment. Need to address Nasri i think.

Having received a straight red he's surely out for two GW's (Carling Cup game midweek wipes out the 3rd).

What's the best option for Man City coverage this coming GW? They have a HUGE CL game vs Vilarreal just 3 days later so there will surely be a lot of rotation against Wolves. Trying to second guess Mancini is a courageous game. I think Nasri will play but have no clue about the forwards. Maybe Dzeko??

Also having second thoughts about captaining Silva / Aguero due to the rotation threat again. May just need to transfer in VDV and captain him.

At least I've saved myself 2 frees for this week.

Balotelli looks like he could be good for a while now.

The trouble is that it keeps changing with City strikers on a weekly basis. One week its Dzeko hitting 4, then its an Aguero hatrick a few weeks later, now Balotelli is banging them in for fun.

Just pick one, really, and accept that some weeks your Man City striker will score well and some weeks he won't.

If you decide to go with a Man City striker it's best to just stick with them, even when they don't play one week. I think Dzeko showed this weekend that when City are in full swing it only takes 20 minutes to acquire an impressive number of points, especially when you consider he could have had 4 goals.

I think the safest option in the midfield bracket is obviously Silva, but he'll still end up rotated fairly frequently.

I quite like Dyer as it means I never consider playing him and just sort my front 7 out. However if you are rotating Bannan is probably the better pick.

    Welbeck replacement needed.
    a) Sturridge - plays for a good team with alright fixtures - could be a rotation risk, I have Mata but that could change.
    b) Bendy - Plays for a rubbish team with good fixtures but likely to be the focal point for most attacks.
    c) Gabby - Plays for an average team and has been scoring well. Fixtures are good on the whole but mainly away from home.

What do people think? Any other options?

An exert I took from Mancini's post match interview. Interesting as I never put Ballo right up there with the current great players and was suprised at Mancini's analysis of him. Though his celebration was class!...

Mancini said: "I hope for him, and for football in general, that the day will arrive when Mario changes his mind completely because after this he will become one of the best three players in the world like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

"The supporters like Mario because he is crazy. I love him as a guy. I don't know what has happened [over the fireworks]. The only important thing is that Mario and his friend were OK.

"I think Mario played very well. If we want to talk about Mario as a football player, I think we can put him in the first five players in the world. The problem is that he is young and can make mistakes."

I'm a bit blind when it comes to Moses, so possibly ignore this comment. But he is playing well and Wigan will turn around their pretty awful form. When they do that he should be in with some points, until that comes he is only a cheap mid bench warmer who may eventually start to get some decent returns.

Bannan, Pilkington etc in the budget range, Ramsey, Walters slightly more.

You've got 2 gun strikers already, I'd swap Suarez for a cheapie like Sturridge or Bendtner and use what you save to upgrade Moses and Senderos.

I don't know much about him KoL, but have just read the BBC match report and he's not mentioned in dispatches.

Unless you want to maintain United coverage in your team (which is understandable), the quickest way to improve your team would probably be to swap Rooney for a slightly cheaper striker like Aguero and use the savings to upgrade Moses/Petrov to a Walters/Ramsey type.

Actually, just saw you have Hart as your GK - you can probably save some funds right there by downgrading to someone like Begovic.

After a very poor gameweek using what was probably the best looking team i've had.....would you guys do anything with this team?

    Vorm (Krul)
    Bosingwa Kompany Enrique (Simpson, Briggs)
    Lampard Ramsey Nani Silva (N.Dyer)
    Suarez Sturridge Adebayor

Briggs was an early season buy when Riise was injured, he's just kind of stayed in my team!

What have you done with your transfers and wildcards that he is still there?

              Get him out.

I'd love to see him get regular starts, would be a great, cheap way into the Fulham defence.

I'd downgrade Lamps for VdV and beyond that just maintain. Nani has a pretty poor fixture this week but after they improve so he's not crying out for a transfer, also Suarez's games start to go ever so slightly rubbish in two gws so you'll be wanting to take him out for someone then.

Wouldn't be getting rid of Ramsey, particularly as you don't have RVP and Arsenal's fixtures are great after the Chelsea game.

Dempsey's not worth the price tag, unless it's in a double gameweek or something

Finally jumped into the top 100k after being in the top 500k a few weeks ago. Solid 70 points this week, Bendtner doing the business again.

Hopefully it can continue. I feel like I NEED Aguero in my team next week but it's either RVP or Rooney who has to go. It won't be RVP as he's actually a differential in my league, only one other person has him and he's top of the league (I'm second). If I go with Rooney he suddenly becomes a massive undifferential but maybe it's worth the risk!

    What are peoples thoughts?

    Front line of:

    silva, mata, nani, Moses, dyer
    best, rvp, suarez

No free transfers, 3.6M in bank,

if I pull the trigger now for an 8 point hit I could get VDV in for Mata and replace Best with maybe Balotelli...
Is this a massive knee jerk!?
