The EA Sports Player Performance Index scores are now available, with the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points now added to the game. Once again, there are a few rather surprising benefactors. Here’s how they breakdown…

    Someone tell me I'm mad before I do something silly. I've had Silva from the start and he had a monstrous game tomo but I'm considering getting rid of him, I'm feeling a United bounceback on the books, I don't have United coverage and I have Kompany and Aguero coverage for City. United dont play a top 6 team till gwk22 and City have liv and che coming up soon. I will lose a load of $$$ if I transfer him out but with the bp system it seems to favour the big hitting forwards. Long story short: I'm thinking Silva> Petrov (Bol), Ade >Rooney. I have VDV coverage for Tot. Am I mad to take a 4 pt hit to transfer out the top scoring midfielder after a performance like that yesterday?

      You are mental.

      Silva and Adebayor are virtually guaranteed points every week. Petrov plays for a sh*thouse team and is far from reliable, and Roondog's gone off the boil.

      I could understand your transfers out if you made uprgrades, but those changes are far from it.

            Listen, you need to be flexible. No use being stubborn. Look at me, I had to use my WC to get rid of Nzoggers and get Silva back after I dumped him in gw2. Scored a pathetic 40pts with my WC team and made mistakes... got Young in...at least I got in Vorm/Krul.

            All i'm saying is don't think to far ahead. BTW, no matter what you say...Mata has to go.

              I know what you are saying. But...there is no players in my team that needs to go that cant be changed quite easily.
              Suarez was unlucky and has 2 good fixtures coming up.
              Kuyt as above.
              Bosingwa is out this week
              De Laet is 3 deep in my bench and can wait to go.
              None of these are worth WC'ing IMO, and we will have to agree to disagree on Mata to be honest.

                Kuyt PLUS Suarez is overkill, but hey you took a gamble and it could have paid off.

                Thing with Suarez is you don't have much in that bracket and will need 2 trades to get the roonpigs/Kun's/Rvp's of this world. RVp is a must(just like DVD) until they get injured.

                I agree on Bos to a stoke defender, but is the money you are saving on wilkinson worth the risk of him not playing? If he does not play you only have 3 defenders. Get shawx.

                  Well by getting Wilkinson (who is nailed on according to Stoke fans) I can get in Nani and RVP for Kuyt and Suarez no hits. The fact that defenders dont get too much anyways means Wilkinson, Simpson or whoever I get for De Laet will probably score only a little bit less than Shawcross over the course of the season and it allows me to have the front 7 that I want..

    wildcarded in rage/dispair last night. earliest i've used since first season playing. hey-ho, it's done now, but would love some help:
    currently trying to weigh up a few things. One being David Silva. Undoubtedly he's one of the best players in the league and i think will do well for city all season. That said, there are aspects of him that are a bit like Modric. best player, not necessarily best FF player. If, for instance, UTD hadnt capitulated in injury time y'day -he could have been left with 2 points.
    Im currently thinking therefore of:
    VdV and Aguero
    (rather than Silva and Adebeyor)

      Silva has been so consistent and VDV has been hoovering up the bonus points. On a wc, I'd have both of them.
      Aguero is more at risk of rotation this week with City's wealth of attacking players imo. Adebayor blows hot and cold.

    I won my H2H 53-52 because Gerrard got 1bp and Ramsey got zero for my opponent.

    Very, very lucky. Still 100% in FFS Reserve league, yay. Might sneak up to 2nd spot.

      Yeah I thinking Nani out for VDV, 4pt hit.

      Who do you think will gain the most points, I'm thinking VDV now, is this a knee jerk reaction.

        Both have good fixtures and ideally I'd want both, but can't fit VDV in if I have Nani and Silva.

        I'm not sure I'd do it at all, never mind for a hit, but that's because Nani is my only United coverage and I already have Adebayor.

        The reason I'm a little unsure on Nani is that he was taken off early yesterday and by some accounts didn't have a good game (I didn't see it). Maybe he'll be rested or rotated with Valencia..

      He scored against bolton, against real teams Sunderland has still looked useless. I need to see more to get him in over Walters and Ramsay who are my midprice options currently.

    I've used the wildcard. Now down to the little details, such as

    Assou-Ekotto or Walker?
    Balotelli or Bendtner ?

    Bendtner has good fixtures and nailed on starter... Balotelli is a rotation risk and costs more.

      i hit the WC panic button as well. reasoned i was prob going to use next week anyway so made myself feel better by using this week. Sorely tempted by a front free of:
      RvP, Rooney, Aguero.
      Doesnt make pretty reading for the rest of my team mind...

      Out of those options i'd prob go Walker + Bendtner. Get your City coverage elsewhere if poss?

        Yeah I have Silva and Richards, who both can be rotated anyway. I have no Utd coverage tho which is a worry with their fixtures coming up. Is Hernandez worth a punt?

          im sticking with Rooney. UTD's fixtures look good after GW11 and he's currently the only one i'd be confident of captaining. I think they'll bounce back after City. +he's on some freekicks and pennas.
          With the bonus points so skewed towards scoring i think i might just gamble on the ultimate front line (IMO)....

      1 Match ban as not violent conduct apparantely - suspended for Carling Cup, not Premierleague match.

      Bit gutted because I knee-jerked & put Walker in last night .... might not be a bad move anyway but means Nani --> VDV would be 4 pt hit

      Yeah not bad ... tripling up on Stoke defence though? Would rather see Barnett/Mcauley for Wilkinson in there.

      I sort of agree with Moses but would have Pilkington / Walters instead of Cleverley ... if your team value is low, I don't think you can afford to have £6m or so at risk of not playing

      No Man City coverage? Wouldn't go there

      Your midfield looks a bit weak. If you are wc'ing think you need to get Silva in. Also think Baines is too expensive for his returns. Money better used elsewhere.
