    3.5m in the bank. 1 free transfer, and I have just enough to do Ramsey > VDV, which is exciting me a great deal. Let's me hang on to Nasri (who I think will start home against Wolves), and Nani (I want to hang on to a Utd attacker). Do it? Downside is that it would leave me zilch to upgrade my shambolic defence... but, to be honest, I don't see much value in defenders this season anyway.

        well, I want a mancity forward for the wolves game... my front 3 is adebayor--suarez--rvp... the problem is i dont know who will be starting for city that week.. if kun does, i would want him.. and can only do that by rvp>aguero..

      Don't be afraid to spend the extra -4 points if you bet you can make the return. You've sometimes got to be aggressive in this game. I think VdV is a must for the next few weeks. He was my one transfer last week and that went very well.

    Will Bos's starting place be in any jeopardy on account of the sending off despite the one game suspension? Could see him maybe going for a more defensive option against Arsenal.

    Thoughts on team for next few weeks? Already made 3 trades, couldn't stand the thought of players rising before i wanted to trade them in

    Sacrificed the defence for the attack, seems to be a trend of the high scoring teams, rely on budget defence while their strikers and midfielders do the rest

      I have slated VDV but i now think with no europe for him he may not pick up as mnay injuries as last year when he had CL as well and a game every few days.

      personally don't agree with any of this covering talk or not having too many players from one team. if you think adebayor and vdv will score well get both, they don't get less points for playing for the same team.

        Pick the best player regardless of 'coverage'
        Adebayor and VDV have played together 5 times for 16, 14, 14, 18 and 17.
        Not bad IMO, not overkill either

        The reason for discussing coverage is because Spurs are not a priority that I look to get players in from. With VDVs run though and ever increasing price, I guess it's now or never.

          of the two i'd say he's more essential given that he's on all set-pieces and takes up a midfielder spot rather than the more scarce striker spot
