X Factor is a joke now...
Open ControlsIm really struggling to get why Drenthe gets so much love in this forum 😕 I get that Everton has their fixtures nicely shaping up, but they don't create much and looks hardly going to score big?
Open ControlsHes their best attacking player ATM. And hes got a DGW 🙂
Open ControlsAnd their lack of creativity can also be put down to some of their opponents in recent games too I imagine.
Open ControlsI thought they should have done better against Newcastle but I suppose it was an away game for them and Newcastle are formidable at home. Perhaps in future fixtures Everton will dominate again. The problem with Drenthe for me is that there aren't any good finishers in the Everton team to earn him assists

This morning's fastest risers so far in order:
% to next rise | Name
74 van Persie, Robin
99 Bale, Gareth
67 Eagles, Chris
92 Dzeko, Edin
74 Vorm, Michel
57 Taylor, Ryan
65 Jose Enrique, Sanchez
28 Silva, David
45 Jones, Phil
-75 Agbonlahor, Gabriel
15 Ba, Demba
89 Pilkington, Anthony
There are your bandwagons, ladies and gents.Open ControlsThanks for the info! Gotta love the Raylor buys, its like they didnt see Newcastle next fixture let alone the next 3. Someone in my mini league even considering to do Saylor > Raylor, cant fault his call really 😀
Open ControlsIt's definitely the wrong time to buy in Raylor lol. If you already have him, may not be worth the transfer out. Saylor > Raylor... facepalm...
Open ControlsHow expensive does Raylor have to get before he's overpriced?
Open ControlsMore expensive than the cheapest defender at a team with at least as many clean sheets... currently, no-one isn't it? 😀
Open Controls
who do you think will rise more quickly, Pilkington or eagles. Not sure which will be the bigger bandwagon. Trying to catch a 0.2 rise out of one of them
Open ControlsEagles got mega points this week and I think he's in the week's dream team, so he I think will get transfers in faster and rise at least 0.2. I think Pilkington will get transfers in more slowly but he's already close to a rise so he'll rise first I reckon. The second rise could take a very long time or not happen.
Open Controls
Yeah the next most transferred in are:
93 Sessegnon, Stephane
108 Allen, Joe Swansea
-32 Klasnic, Ivan
21 Vermaelen, Thomas
58 Walters, Jonathan
0 Drenthe, Roysten
-36 Arteta, Mikel Arsenal
43 Lampard, Frank Chelsea
14 O'Hara, JamieOpen Controlsthx!
should i do my move now? petrov to sesseagon or wait until next week...
not in wcOpen ControlsSess is on 93% so if the site is totally accurate he shouldn't rise tonight because the rises happen in 30 mins time. Just be aware that there is a little inaccuracy in the percentage so there is a small chance he'll rise tonight. If you wait until next week he'll have definitely risen at least 0.1 so keep an eye on him. If you can afford a 0.1 rise, which I think you probably can, wait til next week. Otherwise do it now!
Open Controlsi can. but i think petrov will fall and sess will rise. So i will be loosing 0.2.
if i do the transfer now i still have 0.3 in the bank. If i do it next week prob i will have 0.1 in the bankOpen ControlsI guess Sess is guaranteed to start while Petrov isn't based on today is he? I guess at least Sess isn't at risk of injury over the break is he? 0.2 is also quite a lot to lose. Go for it.
Open ControlsNo probs, better do it before the 3am changes (9 mins)! I've been caught out too many times...
Open Controls
yep, its a good bus to be on lots of people are doing it. Question is, how much game time will Dzeko get? personally I think he will get quite a bit as Mancini rates Belotelli for CL games
Open ControlsThats what im wondering myself. Surely Aguero will play the bigger games, and with City wanting to secure qualification for CL maybe he'll get benched?
Open ControlsThat's what I thought and that's why I got Biblotelli two weeks ago. Then Mancini put him up front alone in a 4-5-1 at Villarreal, which was a damn important game. You just don't know with Mancini. People have suggested all sorts of rules he follows to pick strikers and most have been wrong. The only one I haven't really been able to disprove is Aguero and Silva starting PL games when fit.
Open ControlsNow Im doubting myself wether to bring him in or not. Every forward appears to be a risk. Now everyone has Aguero and hes been drawing blanks lately, and Dzeko's the one in form.
I feel Im gonna stick to my original plan, forget about any City forwards period :S not worth the riskOpen ControlsA lot of people have been taking that plan recently. The alternative plan is ALL City forwards lol (they have 3 strikers after Tevezgate) which more than one person has suggested here. Dunno if anyone's actually had the balls to do it lol.
Over the course of the season I'm sure Aguero will have the most points at City, and maybe FPL (unless RVP manages not to get properly injured all season which is not likely). If you're willing to take that into account and keep him through low scores, you win in the end. But the other City strikers are massive risks because unlike him they don't almost always start.Open Controls
Need to get rid of Bos, but who would make the best replacement??
(Wary of Jones' rotation risk...)
Current defenders:
Enrique, Walker, R.Taylor, Richards, BosingwaOpen ControlsJones is rising fast so I would get him despite the rotation risk. Evra and Vidic are the only sure players in the United lineup but are really expensive. Jones at least can play in 3 positions so could be rotated into another position to accommodate, Smalling/Rafael/Cleverly. His flexibility means he should be rotated less than other defenders
Open ControlsOn a related note, thinking of
Bosingwa > Jones
Balotelli > Dzeko
or
Bosingwa > cheap def ~ 4m
Balotelli > Hernandez
Hmmm>Open ControlsYeah it does look kind of better doesn't it. Just wary because I've got Dzeko before and been disappointed. I'll wait until closer to the game and after the international matches (injuries! no!). If it looks likely Dzeko and Jones will start, I'll do first option.
Open ControlsI think Hernandez is just as much of a risk as Dzeko so perhaps that could influence your thinking. I reckon Dzeko will get more points over a season. Both will be rotated occasionally and subbed early occasionally
Open ControlsMarginally agree with Dzeko getting more points than Hernandez this season. At this exact moment in time I think Hernandez is a lower risk than Dzeko, because Rooney has unusually moved into midfield and it doesn't seem like Welbeck would be picked instead of him. Also United basically have their CL group sorted but City don't, so there's less rotation pressure on Hernandez. Probably Berbatov and Welbeck will get more play in the remaining low-pressure CL games. All in all, if there was a time in the season to pick Hernandez I'd say it's now. But I'm not sure there ever is... 😀
Open Controls
Is there anyone cheaper you would recomend?
Was going to free up some funds to upgrade tiote > pilkington/eagles
I have 0.8 in the bank so would have 5.8 to spend on a Bos replacementOpen ControlsRangel (SWA)
Wilkinson (STO)
N Taylor (SWA)
Brown (SUN)
Simpson (NEW) for the long term, just bench him for these fixtures
J Evans (MUN) maybe - see rotation
Gabbidon (QPR) maybe if you're brave
All comfortably below 5, some are almost 4.0!Open Controls
I have Jones myself, but if that wasn't an option I would look at getting some Arsenal defensive coverage, their upcoming fixtures aren't too bad.
Open Controls
Bleh, Vorm or Krul for GW 12?
I'm thinking Vorm, mostly because I have 3 city players in my squad...Open ControlsTest
Open ControlsRMT:
Given (Ruddy)
Kompany Jones Enrique (Wilkinson, Simpson)
Silva Nani Drenthe Dyer (Bannan)
RVP Aguero Adebayor
Squad for next gameweek, Bannan needs to go but out of frees this week with my:
Petrov>Drenthe
Bosingwa>Jones.
Good moves?Open ControlsGood moves, Drenthe and Jones have good fixtures coming up and Petrov and Bosingwa will have price drops. You team is alright, not sure about
Aguero (is he worth it?)
Nani (out of form, will he play?)
Enrique (fixtures)
Simpson (fixtures)
Adebayor (out of form)
Given (fixtures)
Kompany (fixtures)
Fixtures are against some players but thats not the end of the world, chances are they will still do well. Form also comes and goes, so otherwise a reasonably well rounded teamOpen ControlsAgree with your comments Ryan.
Aguero (is he worth it?) - Yes when Man City are not distracted by Champs league
Nani (out of form, will he play?) - Fixtures are to good need man U cover think he will play
Enrique (fixtures) - Agree, had him all year and has served me well, assists when no cleanies are around
Simpson (fixtures) - Agree
Adebayor (out of form) - I don't think so, maybe in FPL but leads the line well and as a spurs fan he has been so close to banging in hatrick's for a few weeks now.
Given (fixtures) - Agree
Kompany (fixtures) - held form start, is qualityOpen Controls
so ... will de laet play again this season ... my bench is warm enough methinks! is it time to find an escape plan from this most terrible of knee-jerks?
Open ControlsWas going for a 7th green arrow. Seems weird how I seem to have a red arrow this week yet I've gone from 60,139 to 60,110? Am i missing something? (Team linked).
Open Controlssixty-ONE thousand 110 not sixty thousand 110!
Open ControlsI believe you went to 6ONE,110.
Open ControlsAh the numbers game ... only good if you know numbers though
Open ControlsAh, too early in the morning for me... Hopeful that RVp(c) and Simpson BP can turn that red green!
Open Controls3 for RVP I reckon, so that's 6. Doubt Simpson will get any. 6 more on your score... hmmm it's borderline.
Open Controls
Any news on ShawX injury? Surely Stoke need him badly.
Open ControlsIs Walters worth a two week cameo with home games against QPR and BLA? I heard he played in midfield today? Would I be better off looking at Ramsey, Sess, Drenthe?
Open ControlsWhat time should the bonus points be applied?
Open ControlsGiven
Enrique, jones, Kompany Simpson evans
Silva vdv Ramsey Moses tiote
Vp Suarez ade
Evans > wilkinson
Moses > sessegnon?
Thoughts?
I need to make this transfer before sess rises or i can't get him..Open ControlsPrice Change | Mon 7 Nov 03:00 UK Time
+ | Allen
- | Sorensen ; Kakuta, Gerrard, Barry, M.Petrov, A.Young, Watson ; OdemwingieOpen ControlsThanks ledge, right on time. Awesome, Dzeko hasn't risen yet, I was afraid he would tonight. So more time to think about bringing in Jones and Dzeko...
... and more time to contemplate exploiting Young and Gerrard's price falls just when they return to action...Open ControlsYou're welcome.. 🙂
Dzeko .. If market move at this rate, he will probably rise tomorrow.
Bale .. He was 92% at 03:00 AM. For price rise, TotalFPL is more accurate. He's a sure to rise tomorrow. Btw, as a non-owner, I'm glad I have one more day to think. 😕Open ControlsWas lucky I bought him 2 weeks ago before QPR, couldnt decide who to get between him, VDV and Ade so I just bought the lot 😀 Are you looking to get him in place of Nani natt?
Open ControlsI'm not sure yet. I already have VDV and Ade. Tripling Spurs sounds too much.. 😕 I might trade Ade out if I got Bale but it doesn't sound right for next home game vs Villa.
Nani and Valencia will play two important games during the break while A.Young, Giggs, and Park have a rest. Despite fit, I'm just afraid that Nani could be possibly rested. He also looks not in good form. I might see him in Portugal games before making the move.Open Controls
Wow. ShawX protected?
Open ControlsHe seems to be.. Anyway, his price could drop anytime as he have already passed -100%. Some said target should be -150% or -175% when protected, but it's not definite.
Open Controls
Any ideas what transfers to make with the below this week. 2 freebies and a wildcard if needed. Thinking Given & Dunne -> Westwood & P Jones
Given
Wilkinson, Brown, Woodgate
Silva, VDV, Ramsey, Moses
RVP, Aguero, Adebayor
Ruddy, Sinclair, Dunne, Simpson
Bank 0.4mOpen ControlsGood transfers, Id do that or probably try to get a Sess or Bendtner in.
Open ControlsI'm not sold on the Bendtner bandwagon. He's been a decent points getter, but never above single digits (this season).
Or is he more for a consistent forward with good fixtures?Open ControlsHe's not gonna get explosive hauls but he should get decent points considering Ade is back to his lazy ass self and Sunderland fixtures are really good. Sunderland creates quite alot for a mid table team and apparently he is also on penos.
I dont know, I just feel that he or Sess/Larsson will come good the next few weeks 😀Open Controls
I'm actually afraid to give comments to a manager who's far above in ranking than me. Would Westwood be too short-term and you will have to manage it soon again? At that price of 4.4m, Vorm and Lindegaard are also available.
Open ControlsToo early for transfer considerations, J-dubs. I'd wait and see how the likes of Aguero return from their various sortees.
Someone will get injured and you'll remind yourself about the benefit of having two freebies 😉Open ControlsYeah, you're probably right. I don't need to ship Dunne this week as Wilkinson, Woodgate & Brown all have great home fixtures. Injury depending, I may just do Given -> Howard or Westwood and then switch Dunne/Aguero the following week when MCY's fixtures toughen. Unless Aguero goes nuts this week that is....
Open ControlsYes, Villa aren't keeping many cleenies are they?
I'm hoping SUN will come good at home and tighten up at the back. They certainly showed some resolve at OT on Saturday.
Not really getting all of this Drenthe love on here tbh. Eagles could be a shout if he remains consistent. Starting to believe in the Milkman.
I'd really like to upgrade Dyer to Eagles and one of the ubers for ChopperTony.Open Controls
When a guy like Ward scores 8 points plus bonus points to come, you know you're having a good week!
Open ControlsQuite...but more to the point: what's he even doing in your team? 😯
Open ControlsI wanted to transfer him out weeks ago, but more pressing transfers always came up... I might have to keep him for yet another week as I have to get rid of Bosingwa first... 😀
Open ControlsI still have Ward , he is in my team because i dont take four point hits on defenders
Has been a good pick for me, been on bench for most of his poor scores and in my team for his goals.
This week i will be selling him m ky defenders in for a poor run , need one with decent fixtures , so Ward will goOpen Controls
thats why you got him though, right?
surely not for his clean sheets 🙂Open ControlsI got him with my WC in GW 4 after his scores of 10, 6 and 9 in the first three GWs. 😀
Then he scored 6 points in 7 games, and I started him in half of those matches... 🙁Open Controls
guys, are there any DGW's coming up? I heard everton have one, but I can't see it on the fixtures?
Open ControlsAl-Habsi (Vorm)
Kompany, Woodgate, Assou-Ekotto (Jose Enrique, Raylor)
Silva, Mata, Walters, Moses (Sinclair)
Rooney, Aguero, Sturridge
2 FT .3 in the bank
Looking to transfer Sturridge out tonight or tomorrow.
I've wanted Klasnic since he came back from his red, and after today's game he seems likely to keep a spot.
But Bendtner has an easier run..
The other transfer is for any crucial injuries that may happen over the rest of the break. If I go for Klasnic, then I have more funds to upgrade/play with in case of injury. Alternatively, I could get Ramsey in for Sinclair/Walters.
Klasnic? Or BendtnerOpen ControlsBendtner is one of the poorest players I've ever seen. I guess no Arsenal fan will ever persuade you towards him though. Plus, Bolton will be given a boost by today.
Open Controls+1
I'm really just fishing for reasons to get KlasnicOpen Controlsin that case, he can kick a football. Bendtner can't
Open Controls
Im an Arsenal fan and I think he's far off from being one of the poorest player in our rank. He's been played mainly on the right wing last season and his ego is too big - but he is decent imo. I think he can do well in Sunderland as he will be the main striker and get a full playing time.
Open ControlsSo Bendtner or Klasnic?
Open Controls
I'm not gettting excited about 6 bonus points for rvp just yet, my luck he will lose the 6 for the assist
Open Controlsimo that touched gervinho before getting to vermalean..hence should not be counted as it is now...
Open Controls
i play a 3-5-2
hart/ruddy
enrique/s taylor/ warnock/kompany/tierney
gutierrez/silva/ramsey/vdv/pilkington
ba/agbonlahor/rvp/
is there a need to WC?Open ControlsYour defense is the only questionable area really as they all have tough fixtures coming up. You may be able to chop and change, rotate a bit and hope for the best. A WC isn't urgent
Open Controlsshould i transfer now or wait till next week after the international week is over? will the prices change much?
thinking of selling tierney, warnock for ferdinand, gabbidon cos qpr's next 3 fixtures are stoke, norwich & west bromOpen Controls
Do anyone consider to trade out Ade? Who do you get in for him?
My current FW : Adebayor - Bendtner - RVP
I've seen people are getting rid of him, so I try to think of possible trade. But I couldn't think of any obvious choice apart of Aguero which requires 4-pts hit for me. It made me think that I better keep him.Open ControlsI want to clear out my bench, so De Laet to who? Wilkinson or McAuley?
Wilkinson has better fixture (QPR and Blackburn at home) but i heard someone said he was subbed yesterday?Open ControlsHe was tactically subbed at 68" when Stoke was three goals behind. It was not conclusive yet for what would happen with his starting place.
Open Controls
vorm, kenny
bosingwa, enrique, simpson, ward, woodgate
silva, vdv, ramsey, walters, dyer
rvp, aguero, adebayor
1 ft and .8 in the bank (would consder taking one hit though)
what should i do with this lot? (thinking get rid of bosingwa)Open ControlsToday's price changes are now in:
Up (+0.1): Allen (Swansea)
Down (-0.1): Barry, Gerrard, Gibbs, Kakuta, Odemwingie, Martin Petrov, Sorensen, Watson, YoungOpen Controlshow many hrs left for bp to come? rtaylor 3 bp? lampard 3 bp? gabby 3 bp? any chance for suarez, enrique, ba n silva?
Open ControlsWalters under threat to stay in midfield? There are other mids I can grab that are on pens, I chose him for a budget option that played forward.
Any insight?Open ControlsWalters filled in today in midfield for the injured Etherington. Most Stoke fans agree that he's much more effective up front, but Pulis currently has a number of forward options to choose from.
Open ControlsCheers!
Thank you very much.
I'll monitor other injuries in my team (throughout the break) and give him a few weeks after thatOpen Controls
I have gone from 930,000 --> 21,000 since game week 5, so things have been going well...
Do i take the risk of Bosingwa & Sturridge -> Jones & Welbeck
Or are there better options out there, at the moment i have no Man U coverage at all??Open ControlsExcelent work. Did you kickstart your rise up the rankings with playing your w/c in week 5?
Open ControlsUsed my WC in game week 8, when i was 575,400 now I'm 21,651 (before Baps).
Open Controls
Afternoon all
Bit of a mixed bag this weekend, wasn't it. The only time Bolton keep a clean sheet and the lad Boyata's out injured, Woody plays and concedes 5 and I picked the wrong goalie yet again. Nothing for ViddyVee, Sturridge or Rooney. Beginning to feel two under-achieving United players is one too many now that there are some good prospects in the mid-price range and it seems crazy not to have a City striker.Open ControlsT'was but keep the faith, brother.
Utd have some reasonable fixtures. I think most benched Vorm.
City striker - essential yes but which one? 😕Open Controlsgot to be Dzeko, Aguero seems to play behind the frontman or to the side, a bit like Silver really. Dzeko and Belotelli seem to be the two front men. I think Dzeko will get more PL games and Belotelli will get more CL games. Dzeko for me is the best shout
Open ControlsYes, it has to be Eddy Jecko, I think. A front line of Roon, Jecko and Brave Sir Robin is mighty tempting I have to say.
Hmm. VDV > Bale, Sturridge > Jecko and Dyer > Eagles Of Death Metal would work and still leave a little in the kitty.Open Controls
