This afternoon we reveal the results from the fifth rounds of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII and Members Cup VI as well as roll out the sixth round draws that take place in Gameweek 28.

In a low scoring Gameweek, in which the Fantasy Premier League average was just 33 points, Nickofoz and LeedsUtd both achieved the fifth round of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup’s highest score of 60.

Nickofoz, who is ranked 4019, will be optimistic of staying in the competition after drawing Emirates12, who is ranked more than 187,000 places below him. Leeds Utd, who is ranked just outside of the top 10,000, has another favourable Round 6 tie, against 425,229 placed Khan fc.

The highest ranked manager in the Fantasy Football Scout Cup is 1659 placed coffee-geek, who takes on konman in Round 6. Meanwhile, community regular Numb faces Jhammer47 in the next round.

The full Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII Round 5 results can be found here, while the Round 6 draw can be found here.

In the Members Cup, 114 placed Peadarb remains the favourite. He is the highest ranked managed left in the competition and in Round 6 takes on Jimgranty, who has a rank of 340,825.

With a score of 65 Down Under was Round 5’s highest scorer and with an overall placing of 3812 is the second highest ranked manager in the competition. He faces Bend It Like Bennett in Round 6.

Another notable matchup in the Members Cup is community veteran Rasping Drive’s tie with Doctor 101.

The full Members Cup Round 5 results can be found here, while the Round 6 draw can be found here.

Kante out makes me want to bench Fuchs this week in favor of Daniels.

Just have a feeling West Brom could nick a win tomorrow.

This is west brom you're talking about. They conceded 34 shots or something silly last away game.

They rested Evans for that game, he'll be ready to go against Leicester.

They also set their team up solely to defend when they play away.

Not sure they'll nick a win, but I'd be worried about Kante not being in Leicester's team - he's a first rate spoiler (you can see why Arsenal nicked the scout who spotted him!)

I'm considering payet out. Pool at least have firmino up top with coutinho back could be good for him

Yeah but Sturridge is most definitely going to be starting up top with Firmino behind.. think that will effect his goal threat massively.

Ballsy. If you get Khazri vs Utd you could be hitting the jackpot, if you get Khazri vs West Ham, you'll be lucky to win a lucky dip.

Hi all some advice on the following please.
    My team is:
    Rudd - Hennessy
    Huth - Creswell - Ivanovich - alderwereld - Smith
    Payet - Sanchez - firmino - Stanislas - mahrez
    Kane - vardy - aguero

    2ft 0.3 itb
I'm thinking Creswell to Virgil van dijk ?
    Do I ship payet too?
    Or please suggest?

lose payet or sanchez for bench fodder so you're not stuck losing points when alli et al. score big. not a fan of palace defense either, so maybe bring in stoke or soton double up?

Hmm, maybe get rid of Soare to plan for GW30 - Williams in and stick him on the bench in preparation or the kind fixture vs. Nor on the weekend?

I wouldn't get rid of Payet yet. He can be explosive and will play up vs. Spurs - we've seen him do so vs other "big" teams... as a Gooner it pains me to say it, but they are beginning to count as such.

finally found the balls to come on here after a 28 point GW and seeing my ML deficit rise to 69 (still catchable IMO) but am minded to save the FT

    Schmiechel

    Kos, Smalling, VVD, Simpson

    Payet, Alli, Sanchez, Mahrez

    Kun (c), Kane

    Henessey, Siggy, Ighalo, Ward

Haha I hear your pain in chasing ML defecit (see below!)

I think you should save the FT, buddy - you're pretty set for the week. Make changes next week and try to differentiate from your ML leader.

      I'm thinking Kun (c) too.

  11. Individual
    • Fantasy Football Scout Member
    • 12 Years
    9 years, 11 months ago

I'm increasingly tempted to go Aguero (c) this week just because he's a bit of a differential this week (I don't have Ozil, who can perhaps be characterised as the 'no brainer' option) - I can imagine it being a fairly open game there, with Klopp's attacking instincts vs. City's natural verve, which could mean Kun gets those SoTs.

Conversely, Leicester will have to be on the front foot; as we saw vs. Norwich they can struggle in terms of SoTs if that's the case.

Not definite yet but I'm 60% Aguero 40% Vardy atm (ML leader I'm chasing has neither, and certainly hasn't got the flex without a hit to bring in Aguero)

I'd do Arnie if I had him Bowstring! Awesome call last gameweek. I had it in my head that I *needed* Vardy and Fuchs because I thought Lei would demolish Nor. Half right with Fuchs 9 but I should've got Arnie in as my 4th/5th mid rather than replacing Lukaku.

Me too VS! It's awful isn't it!

I'm thinking Kun because you very rarely get a week when Kun (c) is a differential when he is on form and not returning from injury. That plus what I said about Leicester. I've still got triple Lei with the "holy trinity" but I'm unsure if there will be an explosion in that match.

Who would you bring in for Johnson based on the next 3 games up to GW 30?

    A. Daniels (SOT, new, SWA)
    B. VVD (bou, SUN, stk)

Leaning on Daniels atm - I like that he has a decent shot at points on both sides of the pitch + bps

Daniels is awesome - he's my new NBNC (Never Bench, Never Captain - this used to be Baines on the community). Can easily be a 10 pointer if he gets a penalty, and, as you say, BAPs monkey.

Plus getting him in means you have 0.9m or so flex for other changes.

Very good odds. I think a lot of City's success in the league hinges on the Champions League, plus the "Pep factor" on their performances.

Lots of unknowns, but worth a tenner punt and forgetting about it.

I can't believe Rashford and Costa are rising in price when they have a blank coming up very soon. I mean, ok, Costa plays against Norwich and Stoke but Kun has Liverpool, Villa AND Norwich in the next three.
Granted, he hasn't been good lately but if you sell him for Costa you're going to find yourself with not enough playable players in a couple of weeks and i'm assuming i'm not the only one who already has at least two players with blanks on the horizon.

Hmm, it's close - I think Payet tends to play up vs. big teams so I'd be reticent to remove him this week.

Save it and reassess on the weekend - it's so much easier now because it's a midweek fixture. Less scope for an itchy trigger finger 😉

      Too risky
69 points is still easily doable being sensible

      69 points is nothing.

      I was thinking about this.

But it's too risky. Plus if your ML rival doesn't have him he's a differential in of himself. He's been very poor recently, not playing penetratively and getting forward in the way he did last year / before he was injured.

I'm chasing, too, a 50 pt gap. I'm probably going Kun because I doubt people will be doing so this gameweek.
