I've managed to drag myself up to about 164,000 overall but no players left to play. How much of a drop do you foresee me taking tonight?

Impossible to say, but auto subs will have an impact too.

Yeah that is true. No doubt there will be quite a few getting Bellerin/Alderweireld/Alli off the bench.

Yep. Target and Costa were the main absentees but they only have 10% and 12% owner ships. Worst case scenario they all had the best player first on bench = 1.4 points.

FFF allows you to see the effect of auto subs but I don't know how accurate it is and must assume all players who have not played yet will not play.

I don't think it will be too bad, as there's not many left to play for the masses.
Firmino doing well wouldn't be good for you + I don't know how many have people coming off their bench. All who had Costa + Targett I guess.

Yeah, Firmino is my worry, mainly because the guy top of my minileague who I'm 15 behind, has him captained.

  2. Re-post for the morning peeps:

    FREQUENT POSTERS CUP UPDATE

Please see the website http://tyroreports.wix.com/ffsfpc (CURRENT SCORES tab) for the full standings

For the main qualifier head-to-heads, 13 of the 30 matches have been completed:

    Sjaugen 89 v 68 ViperStripes
    Gooner Kebab 87 v 70 Il Brutto
    Costa's Counsellor 91 v 86 Japeist
    $howMeTheMane 94 v 88 VS10_
    Jonty 89 v 82 TorresMagic
    Daniel 76 v 90 CptCrunch11
    BadgersBoys 85 v 93 HVT
    RoysCallerAnne 88 v 92 Kings of Lyon
    Freemlan 82 v 77 Oghash
    Tony Hibbert 88 v 93 AK
    Ziro 93 v 75 Chucky
    Feed Feo 76 v 71 Krul Runnings
Prophet 88* v 88 Jay (Prophet goes through due to a better OR)

The other 17 matches will finish today, though Ayew Serious, Costa, Christina, Thunder_Mike, Jigger and Pony, KingNidge, Sepp Blattered, Sess!, Slartibartfast, Spectrum, Hy Liverpool and Twisted Saltergate all look 99% certain or better to win their respective matches.

The 5 other matches are close ones, with the current situations as follows.......

BabyB = 4pts, PompeyFan = Hennessey (5 pts autosub waiting if he doesn't play)
    Balders = Firmino, Danno = 11 pts
Jimmers = 3 pts, Jast an Ighalo = Dawson
    Juggos = Firmino, James 0ne = 2pts + DDG
SAB = 7 pts, Epic Fail = Moreno

Also through to the Last 32 is iCon, courtesy of victory of Eunuch Jelly in the 100 Club Wildcard Final.

The final spot in the last 32 will go to the winner of Last Chance qualifying. Those with a realistic chance (unless someone like Firmino scores 20+ points) of finishing first are Cradders (99 all out), and Spineless Weasel (98 with Smalling to play (Ward autosub if Smalling doesn't play).

Thinking next gw might be a decent opportunity to use AoA. Going with this if I do barkley to arnie

    Butland
    Toby Morgan
    Arnie yaya alli mahrez siggy
    Kane aguero vardy

Also have vvd on the bench but I don't really see a stand out time for aoa so la a decent shout when others are struggling for an 11?

There's a guy in one of my ML and I've just looked at his team for the first time. He's not doing very well but I think part of the reason might be that he's made 149 transfers!!! That count doesnt include WC does it?

    1. Art Vandelay

Nope. Go to his Gameweek history and you can see the point hits.

Never understood the teams you often see with the highest gw score that have made 20+ transfers in a week. Seen one guy that had made 40 in a week. What's the point?

Any help please chaps? 1FT, 3.2m ITB -

    Yaya, Siggy, Alli, Mahrez

Spurs have a decent fixture. Swansea have a run of decent fixtures over the next few weeks. Williams I reckon.

Yeah, still very undecided on who to go for. Toby had killed me as I'm pretty much the only one near the top of my ML without him! Praying he'll stop scoring and will go with Williams or Kompany I think!

      A

    3. Lyonnais

A (with Kompany or Williams) looks good if Arsenal have a blank. Otherwise I would just save the FT and play Bellerin.

    4. PÍE
      • 11 Years
      9 years, 9 months ago

Think it all depends on what happens to the Arsenal fixture. If it goes ahead then save, if not then one of those (A) looks good - I'd probably go for Kompany, as you know he has a DGW to come

Fantasy Football Scout daily hot topic

In Gameweek games - Sky and UFPL

How did Super Saturday go for you yesterday? Anyone in UFPL not needing to make any changes? How is the hunt for the monthly prize going?

What of Sky - sticking with Aguero for next week or making a change regarding the captaincy?

think a lot of people either benched Payet or got rid, I think if that Lukaku pen went in the game was done and it would have been a blank for Payet, ironic thing is I had Lukaku too so the pen miss hurt even more

I had a gameweek rank of 16 last week and a chance at monthly prize

made a mess this week by benching Alli and loaning out Payet ðŸ™

all my mids scored but not as much as Payet with Sanchez being my lowest mid on 7 so not the end of the world,

sitting on 75 points with Dann, Dawson, Firm and Milner to play. Hopefully with some luck can keep the monthly prize alive

A lot of talk about Wildcarding in GW33, to get a 15DGWer GW34.

If you want 15 DGWers for 34, you WON'T have:

    • Your Spurs players for Stoke away, with WBA at home the next week.
    • Your Leicester players for West Ham at home, with Swansea at home the next week.
    • Your Swansea players for Newcastle.
    (at least)

Particulary missing out on consecutive home games for Leicester is a big gamble. Stock up on DGWers for sure, but can you find 15 better to make the bench boost worth it?

      It's what makes it tricky.
I think in a vacuum I'd rather have 15x DGW for the earlier DGW, but those fixtures mean that it might not be the best strategy.
I'm waiting to see more news on fixtures for those weeks before deciding.

        • 12 Years
        9 years, 9 months ago

Yep, wait, wait and wait again!

Equally, you'd have to go into GW35 (where there'll be blanks) with a maxium of two Tottenham (WBA) or Leicester (SWA).. when plenty will have six.

Have to wait to see fixtures, but my early thoughts were always to keep some SGWers and use the bench boost. All depends on fixtures.

BB with 15 DGWers could be incredible though! 😛

You're right really - 15 DGWers might not be all its cracked up to be depending on fixtures.

For me the season is a wash out petty much and the chance of getting cash prize for the highest gw score is there with bb in a dgw plus the fact it is an opportunity not to be missed for the fun of it. Just needs some planning to make sure you're ok the next gws. Wc 33 and bb 34 for me all the way

It ain't easy! But like already said, it all comes down to where the fixtures fall. We could probably make an educated guess now, but it's probably better to wait until they have came out so we can see the whole picture!

is it cpl villa home or away? Which ManU player you would be captaining though? I'd prioritise a forward, but in ManU's case... not so much. Martial/Rashford who ever is the hype of the day?

Just playing with ideas...but as you say it seems the TC options doesn't look to great at the moment.

other thing of course is what happens if Arsenal lose their WBA(GW 30)? If that falls into an Arsenal DGW with their fixtures I'm all over Alexis(c).

good point, i also wouldnt want 3 new players{gw34} and then be stuck with them. if its gw37 maybe, also if you have 3 eve players they could blank in 35 depending on fa cup, so i think it may be best to have a couple of single gw players and play t/c,
may use transfers for gw34, and t/cap, then use w/c gw33 then bench boost, like a lot on here it will depend on the fixtures for dgw

If Arsenal win v Hull I could field this XI for GW30:

    Schmeichel
    Alderweireld, Kompany, Williams, Wollscheid
    Mahrez, Sigurdsson, Alli
    Aguero, Kane, Vardy

No subs (Hennessey | Özil, Payet, Ivanovic)

Does it normally take this long for new fixture dates? Been playing for years and can't remember so many games just not being given new dates. What are they waiting for? Are we certain they will fall in 34 and 37? Surely some can be played in 35 depending on cup results as well? Want to plan forward but very frustrating still can't do it!

I really think this pile up will only help us 'more committed' players, Already I note a lot of my cash leagues are struggling to field 11 next week, I'm in a position to save (hopefully) and bench bell/Özil/Payet, I think it suits me if Arsenal beat Hull actually-less of a pool for players to draw from.
I'm convinced the run in will improve all the ranks in here Balders.

So all of us celebrating our high scores and GW ranks want a Firmino blank I guess. Any others to be worried about today?

Is Rashford nailed on for United for now? Just wondering if I need to have cash on hand to upgrade him at any point in case he looses his spot

    Question..

If Arsenal were to lose to Hull and you owned Sanchez..

Would you keep him (along with Payet) and forego bringing in a Siggy or a Silva??
