Rarely has the ScoutCast witnessed the collision of such contrary forces. With the radical “Andy G” dropping in alongside the self-proclaimed “dullard” Fantasy Manager, Jonty, we were always going to be in for an entertaining ride.

Foxes fan Andy arrives to express his emotions with both Leicester and his Fantasy Premier League lineup riding high. We look back on his implausible captaincy of Riyad Mahrez back in Gameweek 1, whilst picking out the highlights of Andy’s rip-roaring “maverick” season.

Another round of questions from you, the community, has us attempting to unpick the looming double Gameweek scenarios, whilst “Andy M” takes time to dispel the template myth. The four of us then turn our attentions to Gameweek 30, with beatnik boss Andy G revealing his rebellious streak with some crazy transfer talk.

    Good day DZers,

    Would appreciate some opinions on my team.

    Butland (Rudd)
    Kolarov, Fuchs,VVD (Bellerin, Dawson)
    Siggy, Arnie, Mahrez (Payet, Ozil)
    Kane, Aguero, Vardy
    1FT left

    I bought Ozil at 8.8, Payet at 7.6,Bellerin at 5.6 so if I sell any of them I'd lose a bit of value. I was wanting to get Payet out for Yaya or Alli given the upcoming fixtures but I think I'd want him back for the DGW. I dont really mind the value loss as I'll only lose probably 0.1 in total by buying him back later. I was hoping that we would know the DGW situation by now but unfortunately we don't and therefore my plan for DGW is still a bit uncertain. By reading a few hot topics, I guess BB GW34 would bring more gains than GW37 due to less rotation etc. I was hoping to achieve a decent amount of DGW34 players without WC hence was reluctant to sell any of them, including Dawson who will have 2 easy matches to come and will rotate well with the rest of my defence.

    What do you think? Is it worth trading out either of Payet or Ozil? And would you go for Alli or Yaya? I think Alli will get a good score this weekend (scores well away usually and vs Villa!!!) but doesn;t have a DGW 34. Many thanks in advance!

      I think West Ham's next few fixtures might sway it towards losing Payet.

      But why not sell Dawson and play 4-3-3?

        I guess it's because a midfielder like Alli or Yaya will more likely to score much more than a defender (will get Williams if I'm going to sell Dawson) this GW. But he is probably the best person to go in my team. Or should i play 10? It's not worth it, is it？

          Williams is a good transfer for the next few games, too.

          Just seems a shame to lose Ozil or Payet when both are playing well and have DGWs to come.

          Payet to Yaya not a bad move, though. You can always get Payet back.

          nah don't play 10 if you can field 11 especially for a City asset who will have more games in coming weeks. THat's the logic that's swaying me toward getting rid of Payet as well...I briefly considered fielding 10 and keeping Payet.

          But it's just my attachment to Payet talking...it's do or die time in FPL.

    Which is a more valuable chip iyo? BB or TC? YC is higher variance but could be huge. BB is just very solid and should guarantee a nice surplus of pts.

    I think I'm going to captain Kane.

    Villa conceding lots of chances, Spurs are going for the title, and I think Norwich and Newcastle will put up more of a fight.

      He is the way to go..
      Kun might only get 60min and if Norwich stay deep, might be difficult for Kun. More so, if Bony sharing the forward line with Kun, his lack of movement around the box might alter Kun's chances.

      But we all know, Kun can do some magic sometimes.

        It's been a long time since Kun was subbed off without being on 80+ mins and those occasions months back were when he was building up fitness on the road back from injury. 90 minutes is the norm of late.

        He wasn't subbed early for the champions league first leg and I see less reason to do it now they have a commanding lead.

        He played with Bony last game and would have had a hat trick but for a couple of inches on that darn pen.

          All those teams would blank for a start along with Bou, WH. Sunderland vs Everton could be played then instead of 34.

          I feel earlier WC will give more time to actually make an impact. Whereas GW36 WC is only 3 weeks. Kind of wasteful/ short term. Let's see how it pans out though.

          Maybe get in some differentials like Costa, Firmino, new defenders. Time to take some punts.

                Is Moreno still first choice?

                If not then him. Otherwise I think it depends a little on your rotation at the back before you WC. None of the 3 have good fixtures before an early WC (32 or 33), with LIV having the worst, imo.

                So it's Moreno -> Wimmer or Wolly for me

    I have the dilemma of whether to transfer Payet or ozil this week as I'm only fielding 10 players and have 1 free transfer however I also have Moreno, is it better to just bench Payet and ozil and swap Moreno for Kompany considering I have no city defenders or keeper?

      If you are comfortable dropping Kane, Alli, Vardy, Toby, Lei def and maybe Mahrez then it could work.

    Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s five man summer wish-list!

    According to Gazzetta World, Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani is among those names having become unsettled at the club. It is claimed defender Leonardo Bonucci is someone Conte is looking at. He is also said to want to give Juan Cuadrado another chance at Chelsea after impressing on loan in Turin.

    Roma pair Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan are also seen as “worthwhile investments” to aid the Blues. Paul Pogba is also mentioned in the report but is seen as an “unattainable goal”.

      It's a tough call - perhaps bench Alli if you have Kane and/or Toby (or play two FWDs)? For what it's worth RMT rates Siggy as the lowest scorer of the above for GW30.

    I'm 9 points behind in one of my ML. For the last 5/6 weeks he's been making transfers to block any sort of gain by copying mine the week after. It's very annoying. We've now only got 4 players different and I can't seem to claw the small points difference back. He's got his WC/BB/AOA left but used his TC. I've got TC, WC and BB left.

    Any ideas how to claw thus little lead back and then extend a lead whole he still has a a similar team and makes the same transfers week after week.

        This. The TC alone in a DGW will make up the ground. On top of this he cannot copy your WC unless he uses it after you.

      9 points is really nothing at this point of time. You can claw back all that and put on a healthy lead if you plan properly for the DGW's. All the best lad.

          Maybe i was stretching it a little bit when mentioning Euros. I only meant that his run of six clean sheets on the back of an injury comeback is highly commendable. Yes he's definitely the one to blame for the other two games as you mentioned. But, am sure he'll make up for it over the rest of the season.
