      Definitely. Kane always seemed the smart choice (not just in hindsight) but the danger of a highly captained Aguero going crazy on Norwich was too much. Went with the safest option instead of what was on paper the best one. Oh well.

          I said at the start of the week that it was down to Kun's brilliance vs. Villa's horrendousness and Villa were winning. Add in Kane being rested against Dortmund, City's poor away attack, the 12.45 kick off (which does bother me), the fact that Norwich actually have spirit about them...

          Kane seemed the best choice on paper to me at least. However, a highly captained Aguero against a relegation threatened team was too dangerous so I backed collective wisdom rather than my own, which is fair enough really.

            Fair enough. My gut was telling me to go with Kane but my head said Agüero. After doing a 750-word digital paper analysis of 25 sets of stats I concluded I should go with Agüero. It was close though.

        Aguero wasn't that greata choice over Mahrez, Vardy, Kane and Erikssen in my opinion

        All week I've been saying that Norwich still have some fight about them, still think they can stay up and will be well organised. Playing this game at home helped them too. City's away form is pants, a low socring game was always likely.

        Kane may blank tomorrow but Villa truly are disgustingly bad. They know they're down and have absolutely no organisation about them at all. If Spurs don't score a hatfull it will be down to wasteful finishing rather than Villa resistance.

        Until Benitez got appointed yesterday Mahrez and Vardy should have been miles ahead of Kun in the captaincy stakes.Playing at home against a team whose defenders spend most of the game jogging back pointing at each other against the pace of Vardy and the trickery of Mahrez?

        It was clear last week that they had genuinely stopped playing for McClaren, this game had a foxes mauling written all over it. That narrative changed when they rightfully sacked McClaren and equally rightfully stopped p*ssing about and bought in Benitez instead of some other sh*te failed Championship level manager.

    This is my second season, but by far my darkest fantasy football week. Weeks of planning to field a full side has resulted in a paltry 14 points from 6 players. The herd, who were unaware of the blank, have trampled over my best laid plans.

          I have no idea where you are ranked or what your goals(winning ML's?) are. When do you intened to WC etc. DGW fixtures not in yet, so I would suggest we need to actually see what fixtures we get and make a call then only.

          Firmino has NEW in 35, so big plus.
          Ars/Ozil have great fixtures but seems to have gone off the boil a bit.

        He wasn't brilliant. Retrieving possession and making sideways passes constantly. David Silva is a lot better than that. Should've been looking for the final pass, Aguero made quite a few runs which he just didn't seem to 'see'.

    How did your UFPL loans go? Very happy with my start. Made 5 loans in the end with 9 from Siggy, 8 from Arnie and even Silva chipped in with 5. Eriksen and Vardy the other two. None of my others scored more than 2 😀
