Ryan Shawcross and Xherdan Shaqiri are ruled out of Stoke’s clash with Watford. Everton’s Bryan Oviedo remains a doubt, Watford top scorer Odion Ighalo is set for a late assessment, whilst Andre Ayew is sidelined for Swansea’s home match against Villa.

Bryan Oviedo remains a doubt for Everton’s clash with Arsenal, with Roberto Martinez admitting that the Costa Rican has “lost a considerable amount of weight” from a recent chest infection. Gareth Barry serves the first of a two-match suspension for the Toffees after being sent off against Chelsea last weekend, whilst Kevin Mirallas sits out the second of his own two-match ban.

Mathieu Flamini has been ruled out of Arsenal’s trip to Everton with the knock that forced him off against Barcelona in midweek.

Villa’s Carlos Sanchez has stepped up his recovery from a hamstring problem and “should” be available for the trip to Swansea. Remi Garde is hopeful that both Jack Grealish and Adama Traore could return in time to face Chelsea in Gameweek 32.

Sunderland’s new signing Emmanuel Eboue has picked up a hamstring problem and joins Duncan Watmore on the sidelines ahead of the Tyne-Wear derby. Jermain Defoe has been suffering from a calf complaint but will return to full training today.

Ryan Shawcross has been ruled out of Stoke’s trip to Watford due to a back problem. Xherdan Shaqiri is also missing after picking up a thigh complaint, though Mark Hughes reckons both will be back in contention after the international break. Erik Pieters has failed to train all week and remains doubtful, though Phil Bardsley is back in contention after recovering from a calf problem.

Alan Pardew is optimistic that Mile Jedinak will recover from a back problem in time to face Leicester. Connor Wickham remains sidelined with a thigh problem.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe will make a late decision on Harry Arter’s fitness as the midfielder continues to nurse an Achilles complaint. Junior Stanislas remains on the sidelines for the trip to Tottenham.

James Morrison remains sidelined for West Brom, Tony Pulis has confirmed. The Baggies boss also conceded that they have “one or two knocks” ahead of Norwich’s visit tomorrow.

James Collins and James Tomkins are still unavailable for West Ham’s trip to Stamford Bridge, though Winston Reid is back in contention after being forced off with cramp last weekend. The on-loan Victor Moses cannot play against his parent club.

Quique Sanchez Flores will make a late check on the availability of Odion Ighalo, who was subbed off with a muscle problem last weekend. Miguel Britos remains a doubt with a calf complaint, whilst Joel Ekstrand is unlikely to be available for the visit of Stoke.

Ander Herrera missed United’s cup clash with Liverpool last night with a minor groin problem.

Eric Dier and Ben Davies are both doubts for Tottenham’s clash with Bournemouth. The latter was forced off against Dortmund following a collision with keeper Hugo Lloris, whilst Dier picked up a knock towards the end of the 2-1 home loss.

Andy King is doubtful for Leicester’s clash with Palace due to the illness that caused him to miss out against Newcastle on Monday.

Andre Ayew misses Swansea’s home encounter against Villa due to an ankle problem, though Jefferson Montero is available after recovering from illness.

Nathan Redmond is ruled out of Norwich’s clash against West Brom due to the ankle injury sustained against City last Saturday lunchtime.

Yep. Pretty set on the GW33 WC now. Wouldn't have to play him next week away at Liverpool either. Surely Ben Davies won't play if he was forced off last night?

    Lost on last post!

    Butland - McC
    Fuchs Daniels Saylor Dann (Kompany)
    Mahrez Payet Siggy Eriksen (Shaqiri)
    Kun Kane Vardy

    1ft / 2.9itb
WC in 33 with BB/TC intact

What to do? Replace Komp? Or roll the transfer and play one of my latter two defenders.
Kind of feel like I should roll it but don't trust either one of the choices I have to play.

Yeah hopefully Ivan will go on the wing, and he's also a threat from set plays.

BUT idk if he's worth it vs. West Ham, either. I think the Hammers will at least score, so I'd basically be relying on attacking returns which are by no means guaranteed.

What about Williams in this week, then take him out next week for Ivan vs. Villa?

        Thanks Alli!

Yeah he's got to be the frontrunner really for who I'd bring in - I'm not 100% set on it yet, but I keep reminding myself that I’ll feel much better having the 2FTs in my pocket so I can do a couple of punts in GW32. However one of those punts would be Ivan anyway, it'd just be that any additional "big injuries" I'll be able to cover for.

        Hmm 🙂

It's between Payet and Alli for me, and I'm thinking maybe there's an outside chance of Alli getting rested / subbed off early, given that he played most of the game against Dortmund?

Yes I was thinking that too tbh. Plus he usually does fck all at home and Payet is just not benchable player.

If you've got to prep I'd hold fire until the City press conference - if Kompany is definitely out of the DGWs I'd ship for DGWer.

Sorry, can anyone shed any light on this, because this seems a bizarre and, frankly, obscene ruling:

Liverpool, who won 3-1 on aggregate, have been charged with illicit chants and the setting off of fireworks.

The case will be heard by Uefa's control, ethics and disciplinary body on 19 May, the day after the Europa League final in Basel.

United were not punished by Uefa after some of their fans sang offensive Hillsborough disaster chants during the first leg at Anfield.

Completely one sided. Fellaini should have been sent off in both legs too.
Let's have this right. No one likes unsavoury chanting. Charge one, charge both.

I have Butland but need to use a FT so figure it's on weeding out deadweight Begovic who would you play over Butland this week if at all?

    A)Fabianski
    B) Myhill [DGW]
    C) Elliot [DGW]
    D) Ospina [DGW]
    E) Mannone (Punt)

Is it worth transferring out Silva/Sanchez for Siggy this week? The only change I'm considering.

I've swapped Silva. If he returns to form then I'll swap back next week.

Coutinho looked so sharp last night and he's improving game after game!

I'm getting him over Firmino as Liverpool back up in midfield. Any thoughts on this? Thanks

Coman is on loan from Juve and yet played against them. So it's a case-by-case basis? I thought in the PL it is standard?

Jafooli? Shed any light on this as you're the expert?

Chelsea tried everything to prevent Courtois playing against them and failed . They even had a clause written into Courtois contract and they had to let him play

PL teams put it in the loan deal I think. Not necessarily a standard, if a PL team didn't mind then I believe they could allow a player to play against them in the league, although not 100% sure.

yea think it depends on the contract.

    Butland
    Simpson, Toby, VVD
    Mahrez, Siggy, Alli, Özil
    Vardy, Aguero, Kane

    Hennessey, Arnie, Bellerin, Daniels

Same front 8 as me with 1FT too
Was looking at Arnie > Payet or Vardy > Lukaku
I still dont know what to do, or even to do a transfer.

Could get in either before price rise and Payet away is always good and Lukaku seems to be back in the goals

Would you captain Kane if chasing a 30 point lead, assuming he'll go Kane as well or risk it with Siggy which he doesn't have

Leading ML by 50 points. Contenders have Vardy (no kidding). Got a transfer to spare, plan to WC GW34. Simple question:

Vardy -> Rondon, yay or nay?

Williams is the most likely of a CS, also a good chance of an assist.
Rose is the second most likely of a CS, also a good chance of an assist.
Dawson is not a likely of a CS, but may get a goal.

They're the 3 I'm looking at. Could all conceivably get 0 or 9 points. Rose > Dawson > Williams if it's a punt you're after. I'm probably going Rose.

Thinking of doing Vardy & Cedridc to Kane & Janmaat, unfortunately for a hit.

Need an extra defender, Toby & Fuchs the only sure fire starters at the moment, with Moreno now a doubt.

Don't fncy the trauma of no Kane again either.
