We roll out the first in a series of members articles analysing players per position over their previous four matches. Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool’s full-backs arrive on our radar, whilst we also look to the defensive improvements by Norwich and Newcastle before assessing the contrasting recent displays of both Manchester sides.

Highest scoring player from gw 34

    Scott Dann

That would be a god damn disaster. Tempted to buy him just in case

Cant see 1 never mind 2 CS. He can score a goal though. Overall would have to say no.

It's unlikely but imagine two goals and two CS's

Would hurt De Gea, Smalling, Martial, Rashford, Cech, Kosc, Gabriel, Monreal, Bellerin, Ozil, Sanchez and Welbz owners. Just a disaster

Of course it not only means you have got a nice diff but everyone who went in hard on MAN and ARS are in trouble. There are crazy defender diffs every dgw. Still I would want to be outside top 1 million for a punt like that.

Palace are a bit of an unknown package.

Provisionally I have gone for none but if there is a double in wk36 it completely changes the landscape

Owned him since GW11 I think, and have enjoyed the jammy points 🙂 That being said, I am concered about GW34. I may sell for a hit (not wildcarding til 36)

So you wouldn't consider Lukaku to Rashford for a hit if it meant that you could afford Sanchez (for triple cap) over Milner?

Reading this article, made me think twice about doubling up on United defense, even if the fixtures are AVL and CRY

SInce I already own Elliot, should I maybe start him and spread the risk? Which would you prefer for GW34?

    A) DDG, Rojo, Dann
    B) DDG, Rojo, Reid (-4)
    C) Elliot, Rojo, Reid
    D) Elliot, Smalling, Olsson

Have not seen one. But everyone would be starting from a different point so
Hard to see how it applies to all in that scenario. All comes down to how many hits you are prepared to take.

Back to the short term, which to sell

    A) Alli(liv)
    B) Siggy(sto)

It's been 7 gwks since Alli scored but his assist form is great. As for Siggy, I'm tempted to sell him as he is not explosive and therefore can't hurt me too much

As a one week punt i already sold Alli for Payet and kept Siggy. Just think that Siggy being on pen and free kicks swings it for me for one match only. WC in 33 anyway so both would've been chopped.

Lallana has played 90 minutes in 5 of Liverpool's last 6 games, Klopp seems to be a fan and I am too.

Look at Mitrovic's stats, plus he plays Swansea and City during the DGW, both at home.

Yeah, I saw Irish Madrista or someone post earlier a request for the worst possible DGW34 team. I thought I would give it a go. But I felt there had to be a few rules regarding minimum standards otherwise you'd just pick injured single gameweekers who rarely, if ever, get on the pitch.

I quite like the challenge. It's kinda scary that at one time or another over the last few years some of these players may have been in your team or that some of these players are only a few injuries away from being considered now...

    Thoughts on this WC GW33 team...leaving a few single gw's as I don't need a full punt.

    DDG / Mignolet
    Simpson / Rose / Monreal / Cathcart / Janmaat
    Milner / Payet / Mahrez / Lingard / Ozil
    Kane / Aguero / Lukaku

Gives me a safe 11 for GW34 although and set-ups well for GW37....only concern is a few rotation risks like Rose and Lingard...cheers

Don't like the Pool/Man U GK coverage. Both have DGW's in 34 and 37 and you can only play one. Too much money invested there IMO.
Rose should be now nailed as Spurs only have the PL to play for and have no DGW's. I personally will punt on a DGW DF though but i'm chasing.
Lingard is such an enabler....we'll have to wait and see if he gets rotated though.

Bare bones, good to hear from you

Yep firmino and coutinho are interchangeable

Waiting a week to see how skrtel fits in, could be any 2 of Moreno, Clyne and sakho

Lingard is a risk for sure but he brings balance to my squad as enabler whilst delivering dgw potential. Will make a call between him and rashford

I'm a Liverpool fan as well, Skrtel, just come back from injury and has a couple of games to get back in to the swing of things.

I've taken a risk with Flanno, but Klopp giving him the (c) the other day gave me a little bit of hope. Moreno could kill me though.

Sakho will definitely get 90 mins, but it's just a case of whether he'll get 90+60 or 90+45

                    Really!? Skrtel is awful!

And I think you've both been a little harsh on Lovren. He's come good of late, and has put some top performances in.

    HART
    BELLERIN SMALLING* Toby
    SANCHEZ PAYET COUTINHO* Mahrez
    AGUERO MARTIAL* Kane

    Butland Alli Williams Simpson

CAPS = DGW player. * = next 3FTs with Vardy, Siggy, Azpi out.
