    Thoughts on this planning?

GW32 - Otamendi > Bellerin -4 (Otamendi could end up getting 2 yellows in the next 2)
    GW33 - Siggy > Lanzini & Toby > Smalling/Sagna (-4)
    GW34 - Alli > Sanchez & Vardy > Ayoze/Rashford/Origi

    Would give me
    Mignolet
    Sagna/Smalling / Bellerin / Flanno
    Payet / Lanzini / Ozil / Sanchez
    Kane / Kun / Ayoze/Rashford/Origi

Subs: Butland / Daniels / Williams / Mahrez

Flanno is just a risk I feel like taking haha.

I guess Sagna is me trying to get a City defender back in for the DGW.

Might have to look at other ways.

        Thanks man

Can't see the sense in doing Ota out for a -4 and Sagna in for a -4.

I would just keep Ota and do Toby > Smalling

Guess i'm worried about him getting 2 yellows before GW 34.

Would rather have Bellerin over Smalling if I have to choose

Wow people are really losing the run of themselves with DGW. You are sacrificing hits there that would wipe out a defenders clean sheets points

I see NEW defenders/gk are becoming fashionable again. No big chances conceded in Rafa's first two games is quite an interesting stat.

It's a solid team. I'd do the Ozil trade.

I think it really depends on whether there'll be an early goal or not. Both teams likely to be cautious, but if one of them has go to chasing early, there might be openings for counter attacks and end-to-end football.

Hi guys. What do you make of the GW 33 WC team (will BB in 34, DGW in CAPS):

    DDG – MIGS
    SAGNA – BELLERIN – REID – [ROJO] – Simpson
    OZIL – Mahrez – FIRMINHO – Alli – PAYET
    LUKAKU – DEENEY – AGUERO

    £2.6itb

OR Deeney & Alli > Rashford & Countinho/Barkley (or Alexis, but would need to find £1.8m somewhere)

    GW34 – Save
GW 35 – Lukaku > Kane & 1 other to get 11 (could take a hit to get 12 if an injury etc)

I have been mulling this over for a while so would welcome your thoughts!! Thanks in advance

I agree re Sagna - Caballero could be an option if Hart is confirmed out. Or I could get a cheap WAT/NEW to make room for Sanchez!

Not sure if I can justify Reid anymore with their defensive form and their fixtures.. pretty sure I'm punting on Klose.. my GK spot is a revolving door..

Also trying to pick one between Alli/Gradel/Eriksen/KdB/Liverpool for the 5th mid...

Pff thats a big conundrum, how come Gradel is there? My GK pairing is MOST LIKELY DDG / Elliot. Most likely. I want to get Gomes in tho.

Also think that i will be getting Cresswell for WHU. Believe he has a goal in him in the doubles with payet assist. :DDDD

I would most likely get a LIV mid for the DGW, too much of a waste not too. Also, MIGHT just MIGHT punt on Mata....

That's exactly where I'm at with the keepers.. DDG has the fixtures, but Gomes arguably has better form.. United have been very lucky in defence recently and have conceded shots at a quicker ratio than nearly any other team.. although they have had tough fixtures and their DGW34 looks unbeatable for CSs.

Gradel is a potential punt.. City defending badly away from home withouyt Kompany and Hart, and then Villa after that.. and thjen swap GRadel for a DGW34 player of choice (KdB?)

Oh you just WC'ed? Well that kinda changes the perspective 😀

I will not go with more than 1 UTD defender (DDG) just dont see them being good. My problem with that GK pairing is beyond gw 35. Might have to suck it up.

I will not touch MCI defenders. Just dont give anything for their price.

To be fair, i do not like the midfield. I would ship KOSC for someone else. Maybe another DGW player (Maybe punt on Janmaat aka red card boy), and get Sanchez for the last Mid slot. I do believe he will be in the points in those games. I am afraid Ozil wont.

Also, would get DDG over ELLIOT. I know its way more expensive, but shipping Kosc to someone else should free funds? Could you tinker with that a little bit and see what you get?

Elliot has been a mainstay due to his price enabling so much and Rafa improving Newcastle's defence so much in so little time.. plus I need a GW35 keeper. Strongly considering DDG in for Gomes though.

                      How about this?

                      DDG - Elliot
                      Bellerin - Fuchs - Reid - Simpson - Klose
                      Ozil - Sanchez/KdB - Payet - Mahrez - Lanzini

I actually quite like that a lot. Really good draft.

I wish i could Punt on Sakho up front... Just cant deal with that gw 35 blank. Might just save enough funds to get someone else for him.

Ta 🙂 just means I have to go against everything I've said to other people about prioritising Arsenal defenders over Sanchez, but he IS so explosive on form.....

Sakho is appealing alright but likely to be rotated / subbed occasionally for Valencia and Carroll.. Especially with the FA Cup.

0.4 left itb with Sanchez in.

Yea, very appealing. Well i did the same thing... Remember that famous Kun > Costa punt i told everyone to do? Yea... saved the ft since the news of Costa's broken nose.

I am now actually making my own draft. I REALLY cant see any good defenders to pick apart from ARS one and leaving Huth... I am trying to go with Mata in the midfield 😛

Hence why I was doubling on Arsenal defence.. but that means losing Ozil / Sanchez..

Just not that confident in relying on Reid / Klose and not interested in Liverpool at ALL.

Just tried out losing Ozil and Kane... check this one out..

                        DDG - Elliot

                        Sanchez - KdB - Payet - Mahrez - Lanzini

Pfff... That does look appealing, BUT not sure i want to lose Ozil for the double in all honesty. Also, not even sure Kosc can last 2 games. Thats why i am really hesitant. ALso, think that Sanchez is a valid captaincy option for the DGW. I really want some UTD coverage in attack, BUT they are just...

How about Shipping KDB for Mata for the DGW just?
Getting rid of Lanzini for Firmino ? I know you dont like LIV, but kinda would be a shame not to have a mid from there.

wrt Mata, just not sure if United score enough goals for me.. Firmino is very tempting though, maybe instead of KdB, giving me funds to upgrade elsewhere (no idea where.. Smalling?)

Lots of tinkering left to be done no doubt! 😀

Cheers for the thoughts mate 🙂

All this switching plans between lukaku and kane I see is fraught with danger. We know that we aren't going to get rid of players who are bang in form unless we're chasing, so it seems moot planning four game weeks in advance for exact transfers

My advice? Pick one. Stick with it and focus on rest of the team. There are good attacking options thoughout those squads

Bottom line though. Even with Harry flying, do we really think he is going to score more in 7 games than Lukaku is going to do in 10? Not for me. And that's the decision made.

No. People are saying Harry now. Lukaku for double. Harry for 35 and then Lukaku back in for 37. That is two transfers wasted that is stopping you from getting doubles in 37??

Just put lukaku in 33 or 34 and keep him in

That does sound silly. Well its the end of the season and people think there will be no injuries / suspensions to their teams and can plan transfers 4 weeks in advance. Doesnt work that way.

Some people still own Vardy like me too. I won't bother selling him i think. On pens, fixtures are excellent and Leicester the most motivated team in the league along with Spurs(although less good fixtures.

Think the likes of Welbeck aren\'t assured of 2 starts, while United strikers have the same no. of games as Vardy/Kane in 3 gameweeks.

I genuinely think he'll outscore Kane over the next 4-week period, but people just see their 2 respective hauls in recent games and think Kane without a doubt

I'm with you, I think Kane is being overhyped after facing Villa and Bournemouth, 2 of the worst defences around, and I don't thik he'll be nearly as efficient over the next few, maybe 2 goals in 4.. Problem is I can't pick anyone else to replace him, fancy Mahrez more than Vardy myself and it also seems risky to double up on Leicester attack as they seem to be grinding out results on the way to the title.. So I'm gambling on Fuchs + Simpson + Mahrez.. but I suppose I could change Kane for Vardy and Simpson to pretty much anyone..

Yeah that makes sense. I already own Vardy and Kane, and just find the former easier to sell as he frees up more money too.

Not sure if this means much but:

Vardy has 3 home games in next 4, Kane has 2.

Vardy plays defences that have conceded a total of 162 goals. Kane plays defences that have conceded a total of 141 goals.

I sold Vardy for Lukaku and really do not regret it at all. I do believe he will outscore him. Do not see Vardy getting more than 1x double digit haul if he even does. Just see LEI 0-0 1-0 MAYBE 2-1 this weekend.

Agree bar the slightly barren run he's currently on. Strikers really are in short supply. Although I do fancy a punt on Troy. Confident Watford will score at least once in the double and he's always involved. I'll be quite happy with 8 points from him in 34.

Advantage of having extra games is extra potential for bonus points. If Harry gets a hattie, thats 3 bonus points. Lukaku could get 3 extra points in bonuses if he does well, not to mention 3x2 extra sppearance points.

I'm on that knife-edge of having 0.1 more than I need to do the transfers I want for gameweek 34. Having to keep an eye on prices. At the moment Kompany and Vardy are the only ones anywhere near dropping. Got a feeling I'm going to have to do those two out with my two frees in the next few days. Not ideal with the international schedule coming up. Find a cheaper alternative to one of my targets to give myself more time/more of a financial cushion? I don't have a wildcard.

I'm in a similar position, after drawing up a team for the first dgw, I'm worried about prices and injuries more than ever, serves me right for using my wildcard even though it helped massively at the time. How many hits you looking to take from now until gw34 and how many dgw players do you currently have planned to field. I can get at best 10/11 with about 2-3 hits....

About the same. Three hits gives me eleven doublers. Going to play my bench boost as the single gameweek players are good/have decent fixtures. One transfer gives me eleven for gameweek 35. Actually toying with the idea of sticking with Aguero, Kane, Vardy rather than swapping Vardy for Lukaku. Dunno.

Lukaku in vardy out was my first move...looked abit premature after kaku blanked but at least I've beaten the rises. I guess in the position we're in we have little choice but to pull players in when we can do to beat price jump's , as this will be one of our few advantage's over wildcarders who are pulling everyone in on the same week of 33...provided none of them get injured....

Morgan -> Simpson? Better baps, cheaper..

Triple United is a gamble, but fair enough.

Bought Simpson for 4.0 so keeping him could be an option but he has attacking threat close to zero.

Sakho or Moreno and decided to get Sakho for this draft for same reasons.

Agreed about Welbeck. Could pay off big time or end in tears

True, but so does Morgan, he hasn't been doing the business in fpl this year, Huth and Fuchs are the premium options for attacking threat, and Simpson gets the remaining baps over Morgan every week with the exception of last week..

Sakho is a much better option than Moreno with Flanagan around (and not named in the Europa squad, saved for BPL).

Best of luck with it 🙂

He gives you Moreno, when Real Madrid buys him off the Liverpool bench to replace Marcelo. 😉

    Butland, Forster
    Ivanovic, Bellerin, Alderweireld, VVD, Huth
    Ozil, Siggy, Arnautovic, Mahrez, Alli
    Aguero, Kane, Vardy

2FT, 1.2 in bank, WC intact

Any suggestions on how to use my transfer(s)?

Considering changing Ivanovic Siggy or perhaps a keeper..

    Hi guys, my first WC DGW44 draft;

    Mignolet Elliott
    Kosc Bellerin Rojo Janmaat Moreno
Sanchez (C) Coutinho Mahrez Payet Lingard
    Lukaku Kun Deeney

    1.1 ITB

    All feedback is much appreciated.
Can upgrade Moreno - Clyne &/or Coutinho - Firmino if he is back from injury and finding form again.

    Thank you!

      Good team
Kosc and Bell are pretty expensive together, personally i would go with 1, but fair enough..
I also am reserved on Deeney personally, but he is on pennis

My team will be similar, but Mahrez and Lingard out for Lanzini and Yaya probably
