This afternoon we reveal the results from the final of the Members Cup VI and also find out which two Fantasy managers will compete in the final of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII in Gameweek 32.

In the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII semi-finals Leon Harris defeated konman to set up a final encounter against Numb, who beat Tap in his semi-final by the narrowest of margins.

Numb needed overall rank to see him through after both he and Tap scored 84, thanks largely to their captaincy of Harry Kane. With an overall placing of 27,046, Numb out-ranked Tap’s 29,676.

In contrast, Leon’s victory was more straightforward thanks to his savvy use of the triple captaincy chip for Harry Kane. The Spurs man’s 48-point haul gave him a Gameweek 31 score of 100, which left konman’s very respectable 80-point total for dust.

Despite an overall rank of 2,842, Leon goes into the final as the underdog. After transferring out the injured Vincent Kompany for West Brom man Jonas Olsson in Gameweek 31, he only has one free transfer remaining. He has also used all of his chips, including the second wildcard.

In contrast, Numb, who already has two top-500 finishes in his six previous FPL seasons, has two free transfers, his second wildcard and two Chips (Triple Captain and Bench Boost) at his disposal. With the winner receiving £200 in Amazon vouchers, compared to £100 for the losing finalist, he may well decide to cash in one of his chips to give him an advantage rather than look to boost his overall rank of 27,046, by saving them for the upcoming double Gameweeks.

For Leon, his key differentials include Manchester City’s David Silva, who faces Bournemouth, and Arsenal’s attack-minded full back Hector Bellerin, who takes on Watford. Meanwhile, Numb has Yaya Toure as well as Mesut Ozil to call upon.

In the Members Cup final, the 17,771st-ranked Ola Svanheld defeated community veteran Rasping Drive by 83 points to 76. He earns a £200 Amazon voucher, while Rasping Drive, who is ranked 129,606, takes away a £100 Amazon voucher.

After using his triple captaincy on Harry Kane in the semi-final to good effect, Ola declined to use his remaining bench boost and second wildcard chips to achieve victory in the final. Assists from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dimitri Payet proved the crucial difference for Ola, as both he and Rasping Drive captained Harry Kane and had the likes of Swansea skipper Ashley Williams cemented in their sides.

Congratulations to both our Members Cup finalists and good luck to Leon and Numb in Gameweek 32’s Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII final.

When playing a wildcard, any saved free transfers will be lost. You will be back to the usual 1 free transfer the following Gameweek.

The competition is exactly strong in the wide areas though.. Walcott Ox Sterling aren't international standard players either.. actually technically Lallana is better than all those imo

Not sure i would read too much into him starting the 2 games but he has been playing very well recently under Klopp.. Maybe Wenger was busting Woys balls about not playing Welbeck too much who knows..

Rojo has played every game WHEN FIT, this season (except the one directly after he came back from injury).

Don't think the problem is whether he's nailed. The problem is his injury prone-ness.

If you go back last 2 seasons he only misses one game that's not directly after injury

    6. Chenku╰☆╮
      • 11 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

He is injury prone and lvg likes early tactical moves so the likes of darmian and rojo can get subbed very early 45-60 min mark. So as long as you are willing to take that risk its fine. For me personally prefer smalling or de gea.

      • 12 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

The number of 50-70 minute appearances may be a problem though.

        below 60 is a problem

above 60 not a problem if we haven't conceded

        still what's better

a 5.0 defender who you know will start but might get subbed or a 4.3 defender who may not play at all?

        the former if using BB

Prefer an alternative... Look at funes mori or dann, sakho or clyne, bellerin or Montreal, janmaat (Newcastle have a lot to play for)....

      2. Chenku╰☆╮
        • 11 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

Yep and this is a risk too far with lvgs early tactical moves. Applies to both rojo and darmian. So hide under the couch and hope whoever you picked survived the golden threshold.

I'm going for both and ditching who ever does worse after GW35. I think keeping Ozil is a secuirty thing. Him, Sanchez and a defender is the way to navigate Arsenal properly as everyone is easily droppable.

    The conundrum.
Losing Aguero means your entire team gets much better.
But who do you fill that void with?
Giving Lukaku is a dead cert, Kane probable, who is the last? Martial? Rashford? Even Ighalo?

    Aguero Lukaku Rashford

Please fill in the blank. 5.3 to spend.

Clichy would be ideal but risky. I dont want to bench boost a Palace/West Brom/Newcastle etc defender, must at least be a decent option.

Just looking at your plan - looks good. Have you thought about maybe reinvesting 1.2 million at the cost of 1 Watford DGWer if you were to play Migs in 36 and 38 and take a dud goalie (Schwarzer) instead of Gomes?

Think as a nation the English can be really hard on their own players.

Rooney did the half century, broke Bobby Charlton's record but the recent chat is get him out of the side.

I wish we had a player like Rooney playing for the Republic.

          Two strikers playing well.

And I wouldnt consider Rooney to be an out and out striker anymore he hasnt the legs but hes a very good player I cant see why all three cant play and start together.

A lot of the English fans have always been like that the media are just as bad too and always have been.. Sure fans are entitled to their opinions and whatever but some of the abuse gets thrown about is seriously bad form

I would take him for us too would make a good back up to Conor Washington 🙂
