    How risky is Iwobi?

I need a cheap enabler somewhere and considering between Lanzini, Iwobi and Rashford.

81 with 2 to go, only regret is going Martial over Mitrovic, but that would have meant having to get Milner over Firmino in gw34 so still the jury is out on that. Delighted with score but having sold Kane and played Sakho, that Kane goal was a 11 point swing. Could have had a 2 digit gw rank

Hey!! Thought of you when I confirmed my team. Going with Rashford meant i could go Mignolet and not Flanagan and also afford Barkley over Lennon. Also meant I got Ivanovic instead of Azpilicueta but you can't win them all 🙂

Went all-out on DGW's... sold all 15 players including Aguero, Payet, Mahrez, Kane, Alli, Vardy, etc.

Brought in Sanchez(C), Bellerin, Sturridge and Coutinho who all did something today... 64pts with Coleman, Barkley and Lukaku still to come.

Have 6 DGW players next week and my team looks sweet! Going to TC Lukaku, all being well. Then have 15 DGW players for my BB GW34, can get 11 out GW35 without a hit (may still take one though if the right opportunity arises) and then 2FT will give me 11 DGW players for GW37.

All in all I'm very happy... thought this gameweek might hurt me, but captaining Sanchez and Bellerin's nice haul definitely kept my up with the pace.

My only mistakes at the moment, was getting Rondon instead of Mitrovic - it looks a stupid move at the moment, but I figured Cisse would get some gametime in place of Mitro over some of the DGW's, where as Rondon looked a lot more nailed - I was right, as Mitro didn't start... but given his haul today and his performance, I think he's by far the better option! I also went Janmaat over Dawson, but I think I would probably have had him as my 1st defender sub today anyway, so it's not really a big deal.

Time will tell whether my chosen DGW players outscore the likes of Mahrez, Kane, Payet and Aguero over the next few weeks... but I was ranked around 595k, so I figured I may as well roll the dice. Up to 445k now and I'm very happy with my team for the next 2 weeks.

I wildcarded this week and set my team up for BB in GW34 (14DGW + Mahrez, planning to sell Mahrez before GW34 as well). I'm now tempted to TC Sanchez in 34 instead due to form and fixture. Sensible, or a waste as my team is set up for BB in GW34?

I would look at Bolasie, Barkley, Lennon instead of Milner

That would defeat the object of having to take a hit in GW35. Milner is a pair of safe hands amongst rotation where Liverpool have two European cup fixtures.

Might of been mentioned already but shouldn't Iwobi have earned an assist today? The inconsistancy of assists being awarded have really bugged me this season.

      "Rebounds
If a shot on goal is blocked by an opposition player, is saved by a goalkeeper or hits the woodwork, and a goal is scored from the rebound, then an assist is awarded."

no. that means the person who's shot is saved gets the assist. if the same player scores the rebound, he in effect assists himself, like winning a pen then scoring it

This is from the assist section of the rules defining what may be issued as an assist (for the final pass player). Plus we've already seen assists awarded this season for similar goals.

I remember having an issue earlier in the season where it was determined that if a goalie saves a shot and then a goal is scored this is ok but if a player hits the woodwork and then they score then no assist is awarded.

I think you're confusing what it means though. If you're on about Sanchez's goal - it means that is Iwobi shot and then it reboounded to Sanchez to score he would get the assist. It does not mean that if Iwobi passes to Sanchez, Sanchez shoots, it rebounds then Sanchez scores, Iwobi gets the assist.

Ah I see this now - having said that has there not been assists awarded for similar goals this season? I'm sure there's been instances where a player hasn't quite put the ball in first time and an assist was still awarded to the "final passer."

      Leicester v Southampton prediction?

Gameweek 32 wildcarder here, with only Simpson. So I would love a 1-0 win with a Simpson goal.

Is pretty tough. As you say Bellerin is pretty nailed in most.

If you don't have 2 Arsenal attackers then surely Gabriel at 4.3 has to be another.

Smalling would be nailed if it wasn't for price. Dann for me!

Agreed - feel like I'm too light with:
        Bellerin - Sakho - Rojo - Ward - Simpson

Though I am planning to ship Ward after this week, maybe.

Yep. I've lived here all my long life (50s guy), and "March Madness" is something me and my buddies have always loved. I am always in a bracket pool (never win), and the randomness and nerve wracking game endings are awesome. The early rounds with all of these buzzer beater finishes happening around the same time are just nuts!

this might well be total nonsense;....

          https://www.dreamteamfc.com/c/chelsea-arsenal-and-leicester-named-in-footballs-biggest-drugs-scandal/

Dr Mark Bonar was filmed by the papers’ well-respected Insight team claiming he had doped 150 top sports people
Including unnamed stars from the Premier League sides.

The paper makes it clear, however, that they have seen no independent evidence that the doctor is telling the truth.

“Bonar claims he has treated Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester City and Birmingham City players,” they write.

“Despite Bonar’s claims, The Sunday Times has no independent evidence that he treated the players.

“There is no evidence the clubs were aware of Bonar’s relationship with any players or drug use by them.”

                Cheers guys!

I'm leaning towards B but the problem with B is that it would leave me with 2 Palace, 2 United, 3 EVE and 1 WHM (teams who have blanks on GW 35)

I guess I could sell one of my palace players next GW (bolasie/ward) and get rid of a United player the week after (Martial/Rojo) and see how it goes 🙂

Feel like the only one here with no WC. I've had to plan my GW34 team since GW31 and taken 2 point hits! So far my team:

              Hennessey, Hart
Jags, Wolly, Bellerin, Dier, Van Djik
              Lingard, Lanzini, Wijnaldum, Ozil, Sigurdsson
              Rondon, Kane, Aguero

So, Kane, Siggy, Van Djik, Dier, Wolly are the 5 players without a GW34 fixture.

Want to bring in Lukaku this week I think, but don't know if I want to sell Kane. So thinking of maybe getting rid of Rondon as they have 2 bad fixtures and his run of form seems to have vanished. Be a waste of a GW34 preparation though.

The FPL casual in me is wanting to do Lukaku in already and see how my team looks from there!
