I don't have the heart to sell Mahrez. He has been in my starting XI for all his 219 points. It doesn't feel right to get rid 🙁

I've had him on the bench a couple of times but I've come to terms with that and hope we have both moved past it. Now I feel like our relationship is stronger than ever.

Yup, I'm keeping him. Likely to score in some 1-0s, and could easily outscore DGWers. Keeping Fuchs for similar reasons

Are people doubling or tripling up on Everton assets?

Seems Robles & Lukaku are featuring heavily in people's teams - what about Jags / Lennon?

      Lennon > Coutinho/Firmino for 34

I currently have KDB in my WC team but I think owners are in denial about his minutes and I'm strongly considering switching to Ozil. I can't possibly see De Bruyne starting every game from 33-35 after a long layoff. Maybe if City weren't still in the CL but they are. Surely KDB gets rested in one of the games, probably in one of the better fixtures. Ozil is nailed on for starts and will play 90 unless Arsenal are winning comfortably.

    Thoughts?

      Sounds logical.

The result tomorrow night will have a large bearing on his minutes.

Do you not think that if City exit the Champions league that he will actually start most games as they push for top 4?

I think he will start most games but for 10.2 I want someone who will start all. Ozil is cheaper, will start all, and has better fixtures.

"We are going to see, because now we can start preparing for that game," said Pellegrini, when asked if De Bruyne will be ready for the match. "There wouldn't be any risk to play him again so soon, because it was not a muscle injury."

"Playing forward near Kun (Aguero) gives him a little space and he doesn't have to work so hard in the midfield."

That fills you with confidence for the DGW? If he's being assessed ahead of the biggest game of their season don't you think that means he could be given extra time to recover against West Brom this weekend or at Newcastle 3 days after the Chelsea game?

I agree. For that reason I'm sticking with Ozil and Sanchez double up.

          I mean the quotes are:
"We are going to see, because now we can start preparing for that game," said Pellegrini, when asked if De Bruyne will be ready for the match.

"There wouldn't be any risk to play him again so soon, because it was not a muscle injury."

"He's a very technical player, he had worked the last 10 days hard in training, and he worked on football twice in the week and he did very well," said Pellegrini.

Looks like the headline is clickbait that inferred things on its own.

Kolarov hasn't started a game since the 3-1 Leicester loss but has been on the bench for every game since. He did start in the FA Cup but Pelle was basically purposefully going out.

Love the goalie pair, but it's pricey.

There is a lot of rotation risk in you defense -- Darmian,
      Gabriel, even Sahko maybe.

      Mids are solid.

You have enough itb to upgrade Rashford if you want
(Mitrovic, Deeney, Ighalo), though he could be gold in 34
if he plays both. He's a rotation risk as well.

I think Payet is absolutely necessary so he shouldn't factor into your decision all that much.

If you can plan around 3 mids for GW35 then Lanzini is a great option because he's also so cheap that you can just bench him (if need be) until GW37.

    Cech - Robles
    Smalling - Morgan - Moreno - Clichy - Monreal
    Payet - KDB - Sanchez - Firmino - Lingard
    Kane - Mitrovic - Lukaku

Taking a HUGE risk and currently going without aguero for the DGW's. I wanted to keep Kane and needed to bring in Lukaku, so Aguero forced me to have Iwobi, Lingard and Darmian, none of which are assured starters.

Guys I need your help big time, please please comment...I can win $2,000 on my ML. Do you think I will win with this strategy?????

    Positions:
I am first (no WC, TC & BB available)
Second place: 54 points behind me (only BB available)
Third and Fourth: 64 points behind me (both have WC & BB)
    Fifth: 98 behind me

My plan is to loose -12 to get this team for GW34.

    Degea
    Monreal - Moreno - Gabriel - Dier
Coutinho - Payet - Lingard - Alexis (TC)
    Lukaku - Aguero

Subs: Hennessey - Huth - Mahrez - Vardy

Is it worth to loose -12???

I'm afraid you'll have to cut 50% of the winnings before I can disclose any help

You're only ranked 98k overall and 54pts clear in a $2,000 ML.....jeez, that's pretty poor standard given the stakes.

If lingard is part of the -12 then it's def a no.

I already have Lingard, new players would be: Coutinho, Degea, Moreno and Gabriel.

          Not moreno

I wouldn't personally. Think Lingard, Moreno and Gabriel are at risk. That could have a huge impact if you take hits to get them.

Didn't spot moreno. It's a double no then.

So assuming Hart is now fit, I think I'm going with this. Any thoughts? I'm still slightly uneasy about Gabriel's nailedness and whether Bolasie is worth the risk even though I plan to switch him out for 34.

    Robles, Hart
    Bellerin, Gabriel*, Sakho, Smalling, Simpson
    Mahrez, Sanchez, Coutinho, Payet, Bolasie*
    Martial, Kun, Lukaku

Gabriel is fine. Far too good value not to take the risk.

Thanks Sess, I think that's me strapped in for the doubles then.

Nice team. Martial has the fixtures but I've gone mitrovic over him. Have kdb over mahrez, which obviously means I can't afford smalling.

I would like Mitrovic I think he will do well ala Austin and Benteke last year. But as a Villa fan I find it difficult to see past backing a player who is playing us at home. At least I can rely on us for one thing!

    I'm done.

    4 dgws in 33
    13 dgws in 34 (-4)
    11 in 35
    10 dgws in 37 (-4)

Not the prettiest, but hits seem mandatory to field strong sides in those weeks to me

      Which 4 in 33?

      I can do

      3 dgws 33
      14 dgw 34
      11 in 35
      9 37

No hits. I still might take a hit or two to increase output in gw33 & 37.

Evening chaps. Trying to finalise my WC. Which do you reckon would be the better GW34 squad? Both offer 11 GW35 players - my only doubt for option 2 is Gabriel being nailed on...

    1)
    Mignolet / de Gea
    Clichy / Moreno / Koscielny / Janmaat / Bellerín
    Payet / Mahrez / Sánchez / Coutinho / Lanzini
    Mitrovic / Agüero / Lukaku

    2)
    Darlow / Robles
    Clichy / Moreno / Gabriel / Darmian / Bellerín
Payet / De Bruyne / Sánchez / Coutinho / Lanzini
    Mitrovic / Agüero / Lukaku

Cheers. I still have Kane at the moment, but my defence suffers as a result. I am so tempted to keep him..

This is my dilemma too in a nutshell. Kane is so good

Plus I have Kane at 9.8

If I want him back that's an extra 0.6 I need to find..

Do we think Fuchs will double rise this week? I see he's close today. Would come in handy to make an extra 0.1
