Flying high at 6007, bought Courtois last GW to play before wildcarding this week - Boasted about a 6pt cert on here, only to find him sat on my bench and Adrian in goal on Saturday afternoon. Thought my son had hacked into my account and made the switch as an April Fool but seems I hadn't confirmed the team change after the transfer!!!! 56 pts instead of 62 and I'm now 8761.
What's your biggest FPL gaff?
I've had many this week but most recent thought I bought targett for 3.8m so left him in my team when he dropped the other night. Lord knows why I didn't just ditch him anyway. Mugged myself out of 0.1m which might end up hurting me as I try and settle on WC team this week.

Bringing yaya in for a -4, only for him to not be playing for 2 consecutive weeks.
I took a -4 to get him back out for Sanchez last week though, then captained Sanchez, so perhaps it all worked out!

Last year I was 12th overall in January then I sold Kane, Hazard and Silva on my wildcard to try and close the 60pt gap to first. I finished outside 5K by the end of it. 🙂

Anyone chasing on and a WC should seriously think about losing Payet for Antonio if he's about to stop being a defender. Their PPG must be similar and Antonio allows you to upgrade elsewhere. Payet can come in for 37.
I prefer Lanzini instead of Antonio.
He's cheaper, which makes him tempting. Antonio would have been in loads of teams tbis season but for Payet though. Serious value.

Mitrovic's stats have been great since benitez took over and swansea & city defences can both be breached. On the downside I don't actually rate him as a player and newcastle.

Martial and Lanzini or Rashford and Payet?
This notion that Payet is essential seems silly. They blank, don't have great fixtures and apart from his free kick he looked unlikely to score points at home to Palace. Downgrading to Lanzini seems a very wise but not much discussed move.
