Decided to try a draft team without Kane:

    Mignolet / Robles
    Smalling / Bellerin / Fuchs / Mangala,Clichy? / Ward,Delaney?
    Sanchez / Ozil / Payet / Coutinho / Lingard
    Aguero / Lukaku / Mitrovic

    How's it look?

    Cheers guys

      Very good.

Obviously have a plan for GW35 AND GW37.

I would maybe go with Clyne or Sakho as opposed to Mangala or Clichy. Gabriel also an option.

Cheers, just not keen on double 'pool defense and I already have 3 Arsenal.

Thoughts on Berahino? Money is tight, if I want to have Sanchez instead of Ozil I need to go with one of these combinations:
    A ) Mitrovic & Rojo
    B ) Berahino & Darmian

Would sooner stick with Ozil in that case, I think. Sanchez is better right now but that doesn't mean Ozil is a bad pick...

I don't have a BB available so here is my team:

    De Gea - Darlow
    Sakho - Bellerin - Gabriel - Simpson - Morgan
Coutinho - Payet - Lingard - Mahrez -Sanchez
    Aguero - Kane - Lukaku

    1.1m itb

    What do you think?

It already gives me 11 for GW35. I will activate it next week and save transfers for the DGW37.

    Many thanks

You're almost lucky not having it. I would go ahead and figure out your DGW starting 11 and then have some DGW37 players on the bench in your wildcard.

So for example, add in Azpi and/or a PVA and keep them tucked in your pocket for the blank and the next DGW37 but keep them on the bench for 34. Hope that makes sense.

This notion that Payet is essential seems silly. They blank, don't have great fixtures and apart from his free kick he looked unlikely to score points at home to Palace. Downgrading to Lanzini seems a very wise but not seen it discussed much at all.

His assist potential is always there. He isn't that expensive either, so a great mid price option still.

Was thinking the same. However, he will have quite high ownership, is a better player than Lanzini and has been bringing in points consistently throughout the season. It would definitely be a risk to go without him. Might do it still...

I agree that he isn't essential, and I'm not picking him up till GW36. His threat does come mostly from free kicks but if you've seen his games recently he's almost scoring one per game, and they're world class strikes. I don't think he really needs open play to be honest, but he does tend to get involved a lot.

Would love to get some opinions on my wildcard team.

    Forster robles
    Belerin gabriel smalling delaney sakho
    Lanzini bolasie sanchez mahrez coutinho
    Kane aguero lukaku

    AVL and CPL.

I know United are not free scoring, but it would feel wrong not to have any attaching cover for those 2 games.

    Might even consider Mata.

Absolutely nobody else tempted by Juan Mata?

In theory he has the fixtures, the quality and the differential status to be a maverick hero in DGW34.

Obviously there are plenty of factors counting against him too but I'm surprised I haven't even seen him in one draft wildcard so far...

I'm just finding it hard to fit him in. Considering doing Bolasie to Mata as a FT in 34 and getting Mitro over Martial.

      I'm tempted.

I am trying to work him in, but there are so many good choices in midfield.
      Not having a gw35 doesn't help.

            I'm having serious problems Sully,
West Ham Everton with the Double/double and Utd with great fixtures but simply not with big scoring players atm and the likelihood of Rooney popping in with a spoiler.

Looks like the majority of the teams have some sort of "enabler", the lower cost midfielder or forward that lets you go big elsewhere.
Some have rotation risks, others have potential to explode.

    Who's your enabler?

    Mine is Iwobi (4.5)
    Positive
    Form and fixtures

    Negative
    chance of being rotated

Lanzini. Seems to be nailed on, seems to be a very good FPL player generally, is easy to bench for the rest of the season if I want to.

Don't trust any of the cheaper options I've seen either.

Mine is rather unpopular on here, but it's Deeney. He's still getting a lot of touches in the box, getting shots off, creating chances, has two double game weeks, has Villa at home in 36 and Sunderland at home in 38, and is on pens. I'll take a chance.

                    Gabriel Bellerin Simpson
                    Sanchez Coutinho KDB

1.2 itb 1 FT (Robles, Rojo, Reid, Lennon, Payet, Lukaku)

With a -4 for Rojo and Lennon this looks decent, right? Not sure yet who to bring in, Azpi looks tempting in defence

Looking at the stats, Mitrovic could do very well over these next 4 matches.

You can have 6 34 DGW who have GW 35 blanks in your GW 34 squad, transfer 2 blankers out in 35 and bench the last 4?

Okay, covered all possible scenarios, can you RMWCT?

                    DDG Darlow
                    Jagielka Gabriel Sakho Delaney Simpson
                    Lennon Milner Sanchez KDB Payet
                    Lukaku Aguero Martial

Would have preferred Barkley to Lennon and Milner to Coutinho/Firmino but other than that all set. Thoughts?

This is fairly similar to mine, though I've gone cheaper on my forward to fund a better midfield.

                      DDG - Darlow
                      Jags - Gabriel - Sakho - Delaney - Evans
                      Sanchez - KDB - Ozil - Payet - Coutinho
                      Lukaku - Aguero - Deeney

I like the Simpson pick (will probably score more in two matches than my Evans in three). Would you consider downgrading Martial to Mitrovic to not only have another player in GW35 but also give you some funds to upgrade Milner?

Wow, I had Evans until like 10 mins ago but want the 0.3 ITB! It's good to see that you have your United defence base covered and also have Jags who has had a few decent shots on goal (he's due a goal I believe)

I honestly think United DGW fixtures (AVL, CPL) warrant Martial up front (especially with him on pen duties). Also, Everton have DGWs in 33 and 34 so going without Everton mid coverage might not be wise. What are your xfer plans to get 11 for GW35?

Delaney to PVA is one of them since I'll then keep PVA until the end. The other I'm unsure about. It could be Deeney to Defoe, or Payet to Alli for a week only to bring Payet back in GW37.

Delaney. Has double the attacking threat for the same price. Also half as owned (though both differentials).

Yeah, terrific team. No GK for GW35 but I guess it's ok. Great balance, good defense and attack. Considered Iwobi or Lanzini?

Thanks, No I havent gave much though on Lanzini since I have Payet, but he looks like a good shout. Iwobi is tempting but with a potential question mark over his minutes and the fact that if I got him I would have to fill another place in defence, an area that has limited options
