Strap yourself in for another bumper, Wildcard-powered ScoutCast. On the cusp of double Gameweeks, with multiple chips on standby, we’re braced for the big turning point in our seasons.

The expectation and excitement is palpable as Jonty and Andy drop in to review Gameweek 32, before feasting on a smorgasbord of questions served up by you, the community.

We tackle the Leicester/Spurs exit plans, consider Sanchez vs Ozil, contemplate selling the imperious Payet and run the rule over double Gameweek strikers. We pack that and more into 75-minutes, reserving energies for further double Gameweek casts to come.

This episode was first aired live on our YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe to get news of future live casts.

You can view the full version via the second player below, or drown in the sound of the edited audio version via this link or the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Alli to Lanzini leaving me with 9 players GW35 with 2 FTs?

    Here's my team:

    Robles Cech
    Clichy Delaney Simpson Bellerin Sakho
    Alli Sanchez Payet Cout Mahrez
    Kun Luk Martial

    Hey guys, here's my WC.

    Robles - Mignolet
    Simps - Bellerin - Smalling - Sakho - Reid
    Alexis - Cout - KDB - Iwobi - Payet
    Aguero - Mitrovic - Lukaku

    £0.4m ITB.

Having thought about it all week, I think I'm set. Iwobi is an obvious risk but like Jonty said, at £4.5m that's what you get and I honestly can't see Wenger dropping him after his recent performances. I could downgrade Bellerin > Gabriel then upgrade Iwobi but there's nobody that really appeals to me at £6.9m. Gives me 14 DGWers and a full XI if I shift Smalling for someone GW35 then I'm likely to have 2 FTs come DGW37 to max out.

"At 4.5 that's what you get" might be true but for 4.9 you get a very good nailed on player in Lanzini. Personally don't see the appeal in taking a risk with my precious BB for the sake of saving 0.4 there.

Beyond that it's a good wildcard though. Is Reid nailed on to play?

    Narrowed it down slightly now:

    A) Martial and Rojo

Front 8 are great. Not a huge fan of Barkley though for his price.

Defence looks fine as well. I'd be tempted to downgrade Barkley and upgrade Mignolet to De Gea.

      Clyne > Lovren
Simpson = Fuchs (only bonus potential in it but is that worth the price difference?)

His fixtures are golden though. It is best to get the player before the goals rather than after.

Could have the best run in of all of the forwards when he get's going

Yeah fair enough. We know he's capable too, a bit like getting Sanchez last week. Still, I'd like to see him 'looking good' when watching as well, even if not getting the returns.

True enough. I don't think Kan's fixtures are all that so I thought he was worth the risk due to teh extra fixtures. His 35 fixture helps a lot as well

Could use a ft to bring him in for 34 if he looks like playing (especially easy for Kane owners).

Wouldn't have him on the wildcard though. Too many games in between now and the BB for someone that injury prone.

The thing you have to ask yourself is "what have each team got left to play for"?

The WHU v ARS game is so key, Arsenal will be out for revenge after 2-0 loss at home and with WHam still in FA Cup I can see the Gunners getting a similar result at the Boelyn - but that's just my honest opinion.

    1. djpete
      • 12 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

All the teams have got motivation to play well. None of them will want to lose. So it comes down to who has more to lose v which team is better on form. The WHU v ARS game is about the most unpredictable out there then, but Arsenal, on paper, are a better team.

    DDG Darlow/Robles
    Bellerin Gabriel Jagielka Moreno Simpson

    Robles Darlow

    Bellerin Gabriel Sakho Simpson Darmian

    KDB Sanchez Payet Coutinho Bolasie

    Hi Guys.
    Hope your well...
I am 160pts behind top in my mini league and have triple captain and bench boost left.

I'm definitely playing bench boost in GW37 as I will have a full 15 playing (Assuming there are no injuries)

    So....
My query is shall I TC Lukaku this week or take a punt on Iwobi next week?

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

Sanchez TC in GW34 if you're using BB in 37?

        Ok. Thanks.
I cant afford Sanchez as I have Aguero but I will have a look at my transfers and try and sort something.

Anyone else going with a Wickham punt this week?
He's just been declared fit by Pardew and in his last 2 games he scored 13 in each!

    No BB WC...

    Robles DDG
    Bellerin Gabriel Delaney Simpson Sakho
    Sanchez Coutinho Payet Barkley Alli
    Martial Aguero Lukaku

    Barkley to Firmino GW34
Lukaku to Kane & Martial to Mitrovic GW35 (-4)

    Have I missed anything major?

If you want Mitrovic, get him in for the double in 34
