Thereโ€™s no double Gameweek on offer in FantasyBet this week, with the midweek match between Palace and Everton excluded from the round of fixtures. Instead the action kicks off at Upton Park, where Arsenal visit the Hammers looking for a third straight win, and ends on Sunday, when Manchester United visit Tottenham.

In between, Crystal Palace go head-to-head with Norwich in a proverbial six-pointer at Selhurst Park, whilst Newcastle travel to St Mary’s looking for a first win under Rafa Benitez. Meanwhile, at Vicarage Road, Everton will hope to arrest their recent poor form against a Watford outfit that have already lost their last four.

Manchester City are the league’s last participants in the Champions League and are fortunate to be facing West Brom at the Etihad. On Sunday, Leicester City make a trip to the Stadium of Light, where Sunderland have drawn four successive matches, whilst Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will have decisions to make at home to Stoke, with one eye perhaps on the Europa League second-leg clash with Borussia Dortmund. Finally, Manchester United travel to Tottenham in a match that could have a significant influence on both sides’ final positions.

If you are unfamiliar with FantasyBet it is particularly accessible for those who play Fantasy Premier League, as it uses a similar pricing and scoring system.

Check out this daily and weekly fantasy football guide to see how the game works.

MY TEAM

Thibaut Courtois (5m)
Charlie Daniels (4.5m)
Scott Dann (5m)
Nicolas Otamendi (6.5m)
Manuel Lanzini (5m)
Yannick Bolasie (6m)
Kevin De Bruyne (10.5m)
Alexis Sanchez (11m)
Graziano Pelle (8m)
Romelu Lukaku (9m)
Sergio Aguero (13m)

KEY PICKS

Thibaut Courtois: A 4-0 win at Villa took Chelseaโ€™s unbeaten run to 15 matches under interim boss Guus Hiddink. The Blues have impressed on the road in particular, conceding only two goals in seven away ties, and their number one offers a safe and comparatively inexpensive route into the Dutchmanโ€™s defence for Saturdayโ€™s trip to Swansea.

Scott Dann: Although Crystal Palace have failed to record a clean sheet in 12 league outings, the visit of a Norwich side that have netted in only three of their last ten away trips means Alan Pardew’s backline have a reasonable chance of keeping the Canaries out. Dann also offers a serious threat from set-pieces, having scored five already this campaign.

Kevin De Bruyne: The Belgian has made an immediate impact on his return to action, scoring in both Man Cityโ€™s matches over the last week. Remarkably, all nine of De Bruyneโ€™s assists in the league this season have arrived at the Etihad, which bodes well for his prospects as Manuel Pellegriniโ€™s troops welcome West Brom to the Etihad.

Graziano Pelle: With the threat of relegation looming, Newcastle have to go for three points on their visit to St Mary’s, which should leave plenty of space for the Saints to exploit. Before blanking at the King Power, Pelle looked back in form, having served up three goals and two assists in the previous two outings against Liverpool and Stoke.

THIS WEEKโ€™S GAME PICKS

As always the best place to start if you’re new to FantasyBet are the freerolls. There is a ยฃ50 pot available for this Gameweek in both the weekly standard fantasy game and the Flash mode.

The Grand Weekend contest only misses the match at Upton Park, so line-ups can be entered right up until the 3pm kick-offs. It’s ยฃ11 to enter for a chance to win part of the ยฃ1000 guaranteed prize money.

In the run-up to the Grand Finale in Gameweek 38, which has a ยฃ5,000 pot on offer, it’s possible to enter a qualifier this week for a ยฃ3.30 stake to win an entry ticket worth ยฃ33.

LAST WEEK

I finished in the top half of the Double-up entrants, which provided the majority of my winnings for the week. Frustratingly my 81 points in the Grand Weekend contest was a single point from the money places. Awd2 had a six-point lead at the summit with a total of 102 in the Grand Weekend – captaining Alexis Sanchez delivered 26 points, while picking West Ham midfield duo Dimitri Payet (nine points) and Manuel Lanzini (ten points) also paid off.

THIS WEEK’S STAKE

I’m entering The Grand Weekend, the freerolls, the Double-up contest and entering a team into the FFScout Picks League for a total outlay of ยฃ15.40.

In addition, Iโ€™ll be going up against Geordienufc1, the Community champion in this weekโ€™s Scout Picks. He will be taking me on in a specially set up head to head game for a chance to win free entry into a ยฃ500 Guaranteed โ€˜Big Weeklyโ€™ game worth ยฃ22.

Also the eligible Community Champion who beats the Scout Picks by the highest margin every month will win a free entry into the ยฃ600 guaranteed โ€˜Bossโ€™ game worth ยฃ55.

FFSCOUT PICKS LEAGUE

Awd2 also topped the Scout Picks League with a score of 103 points. Alexis Sanchez was his captain once again, while Pedro’s 16 points from midfield illustrates how picking one or two differentials in your line-up can deliver rewards.

FantasyBet have provided a ยฃ100 pot for the FFScout Picks League, with a ยฃ1.10 stake for entry, it is now possible to enter two teams into this contest. I will enter our Scout Picks as closely as possible, given a 15-man squad is required with the 100m budget and a captain also needs to be selected.

Feel free to go up against them this week and pick your own squad on FantasyBet.

      Hard without context

I'd keep Mane for this week, then shift him for a doubler if you plan on BB.

If no BB, then bench him and play against Villa in 35

Thrue , but instead of 30 , I would have 28 players (effectively ) I might let Fuchs go , but as I am trailing behind my ML leader , Mane could be that sneeky punt (or super flop) for me.

With Barry back - we can assume Barkley moves back to playing number 10.

That leaves (realistically) Lennon, Deulo, Kone fighting for that RW spot. With the fixture pile up and FA cup looming...I think I've just talked myself out of getting Lennon

Cannot for the life of me decide between Lennon and Bolasie only for this GW ๐Ÿ™

Bolasie has returned attacking points on 4 games throughout the season (2 double figures), fair enough he has been injured for parts

Lennon has returned attacking points in 5 games throughout the season with 4 of those returns occuring more recently (last 2 months ish)

Yeah and no IMO. He will likely play in the hole now which is good but he was nailed to play anyway and Solvas creativity might have been good.

Sterling and Silva out though does make Nasri an interesting option!

similar to mine below (and a lot better)

      Smalling v Delaney
      Martial v Mitro

being the 2 key differences there

Is your team value very low?

103.0 SV, yeah pretty low. Afobe dropped 0.3 while I was on holiday which i thought was harsh seeing as noone owned him

    Think I'm done

    Robles, Darlow
    Bellerin, Gabriel, Delaney, Sakho, Fuchs
    Sanchez, Payet, Firmino, Coutinho, Bolasie
    Aguero, Lukaku, Mitrovic

0.4 ITB. Fuchs as only SGW player

    Downsides
    No United defence
    No United attack (less important)
    No KDB
    No Kane

Ah, by all matches it shows my current front 3. Are the winds changing or is it getting the rub of the green in a small sample size?

Yeah, that would be ideal, but I don't have the SV.

I saw a great comment or article on how to get 15 double gameweek players for GW 34, an 11 for GW 35 and 11 double gameweek players in GW 37...I didn't favourite/bookmark it, does anyone happen to know where I can find this please?

Is Lovren nailed on? And is Clyne worth the extra 0.4 if you have the money?
