A Selhurst Park head-to-head between Palace and Everton brings the curtain down on what has been a bitterly disappointing Gameweek for many Fantasy managers.
Having clinched a crucial home win over Norwich on Saturday, the Eagles boast better attacking form that the Merseysiders prior to this evening’s kick-off.
Over their respective last four matches, Alan Pardew’s men lead Everton for attempts on goal (52 to 42), efforts inside the box (36 to 27) and goals, by four to three. The Toffees have been a little more accurate, however, edging their hosts by 18 shots on target to 17.
Neither side has convinced at the back, though, which potentially bodes well for those who loaded up on their main attackers. Palace have afforded the opposition eight big chances in their last four – only two sides have poorer records – whilst Everton are not far behind on seven big chances against.
Fingers crossed, then, that we something to cheer about as we fine-tune our plans before double Gameweek 34 comes around.
