    Who is best midfielder to get for 5.2m that plays in GW35?

    Kante? Drinkwater? Loftus-Cheek? Not so many options...

    1. Shifty
      • 12 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

      yo, f**k this season man. 50/50s continue to NOT fall my way.

      Same, looking at a 5.4 option if I want Sturridge. But no one appeals to me except Brady and Lanzini...both don't have games this week and doesn't make sense to get in a benched player for a hit just for Studge.

      1. NABIL - FPL otai
        • 13 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

        yo. One hell of a season.

        Yeah for that reason I'm getting a GW35-playing option but no one looks really solid..

        1. Shifty

          9 years, 8 months ago

          RLC seems like the most decent option - or King.

          But i'm switching gears and just looking to get Firmino in and Pelle instead of Sturridge + cheapie...Firmino should start this weekend it seems. Not too sure about Studge - they need him fit for EL.

      Just play a man short. Unless you are confident the guy you bring in will get you at least four points it's not worth the hit.

      If you need an enabler for another move, then get Lanzini. He has a double in 37 so it evens out in the end.

    Annoyed I missed the Alli & Kane rises - now can't afford both.

    Best move here?

    A) Martial -> Kane (10 starters)
    B) Bolasie -> Alli (10 starters)
    C) Fosu -> Aldy (10 starters)
    D) B & C (-4 and 11 starters)
    E) Bolasie & Martial -> Alli & Sturridge (-4 and 11 starters)

    Darlow
    Bellerin, Gabriel, Sakho, Simpson
    Sanchez, KDB, Cout
    Aguero

    Robles, Fosu, Bolasie, Lanzini, Lukaku, Martial
    Bank 2.7m, 1FT

        Yeah that's true. You think a -8 could be worth it? Something like:

        Bolasie, Lukaku & Martial -> Alli, Kane & Pelle (-8)

          • 16 Years

          I'd rather go that way. It's practically 3 x 0 + a defender/Sakho vs those 3 for -8

    2. NABIL - FPL otai
      • 13 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

      Why are you keeping Lukaku and ditching Martial first?

        • Fantasy Football Scout Member
        • 15 Years

        Mainly because Lukaku has a better fixture in 36 and he's generally a better fpl option than Martial. Would you go:

        Bolasie & Lukaku -> Alli & Kane (-4)?

        1. Shifty
          • 12 Years
          9 years, 8 months ago

          Everton are in disarray and I honestly think the team is trying to get Martinez sacked - I would make that trade.

          Cleverly on for Barkley in a derby and Stones 'injured' right after a goal? Sth is not right.

            Thanks both. What about the -8 above? Worth the extra hit to have 1 playing bench to come in if 1 of my 11 don't start? Sakho, Cout & KDB look risky.

              • 13 Years

      I don't mind the Martial > Pelle transfer...but Coutinho > Firmino seems a little sideways - in that both face a certain degree of uncertainty over their minutes

          Having a side homogenous to the template makes rapid rising harder and Toby, Kane and Alli all have 55-60% ownership inside 200k.

            • 12 Years

    Maybe just maybe we don't see quite as much rotation from Klopp in 35 as they are coming up against a side in Newcastle that are fighting for their lives and will have taken confidence from a draw against City.. Bournemouth were there for the taking last Sunday on the other hand and had nothing to play for.. just a thought

      A.

      just done funes, kdb, mit to rose, alli, kane -12.

      kdb will not be risked as we need him fully fit for the ucl so it's a gamble i'll take. spurs are a title winning team and I reckon they'll win every game to pile more pressure on leicester.

            Darlow
            Bellerin, Gabriel, Sakho, Fuchs
            Sanchez, KdB, Coutinho
            Martial, Kane, Aguero

              Assuming Kane == Mitrovic, I'd look at Payet -> Alli this week to fund Martial -> Kane, then get Payet back in 37 for Sanchez or KdB if you think its necessary. It gives you a buffer for rotation this week even if it does create a headache for who to bench.

                Oops, yeah 😀

                Hmm interesting call. I do have a lot of value tied up in Payet and I'd preferably want him for GW36 away at a shocking WBA.

                But definitely something to consider, cheers 🙂

          Because he's been more dangerous than Cisse recently and Benitez hasn't got time to dick about.

    Is Coutinho or Firmino more likely to not start GW35? Thinking about selling for the mighty Mahrez at home to Swans with no Vardy and penalty duties

      I'd say Firmino is more likely to start considering he got hooked earlier and Cout played 90.

      I'd prefer Alli if you don't have him but Mahrez is a good option also

      Choice is to either save and roll the dice that Coutinho plays or transfer him out for an alternate option (obvious choice being Alli).

      It would depend on how much faith you're willing to put in to Coutinho's game time against Newcastle this weekend

    DDG
    Bellerin Simpson Sakho
    Sanchez Mahrez Coutinho Nasri
    Mitrovic Kun Sturridge

    Robles Gabriel Delaney Payet

    Should I be more concerned with getting a keeper who plays in GW35? Or should I buy the likes of Alli and Kane, probably for Coutinho and Mitrovic (requires a -8 though)?

      Sakho, Coutinho and Sturridge likely to be on the bench fand rested prior to the Europa games. Spurs players nailed on.

    Currently chasing a 45pt deficit in my ML. None of the top3 have any Spurs coverage post-WC. Presuming that they all look to Kane & Alli, is it worth going with the flow and drafting them both in, or looking elsewhere?

    Darlow
    Bellerin Simpson Sakho Gabriel
    Sanchez Mahrez Coutinho De Bruyne
    Aguero Mitrovic
    Robles Lukaku Dann Lingard
    2FTs

    A. Coutinho/Lukaku > Alli/Kane
    B. Dann/Coutinho/Lukaku > Walker or PVA/Alli/Kane (-4)
    C. Other?

    Thoughts/input appreciated.

      I thinik either one or both of Kane and Alli are essential for the run-in. However I'd be looking for some GW37 strategy or a few differentials to chase down 45 points. It's a good captaincy choice on a punt (i.e. Defoe, Redmond, Nasri, PVA, etc.)

    Is it foolish to contemplate a Coutinho > Firmino swap? Too sideways?

    Judging by minutes and Klopp's rotation pattern, seems like Firmino will start more EPL games. Would think Coutinho sits out this weekend with Firmino starting and Coutinho being rested around the EL games.

      It's not foolish but i think there is too much doubt around Klopp's selection criteria right now ... could be a heart-breaker if Firmino is benched.

    Those with the triple captain chip in tact - who are the early contenders for the triple (c) armband, given the remaining fixtures?

    Obviously, a lot of water to go under the bridge before then... but I have an eye on Arsenal's final fixture at home to Villa. Too much uncertainty ahead of the DGW37.
