Steve Bruce after being told he was being let go...Open ControlsI've been playing a patient game avoiding points hits recently but my scores have declined each week until I just got my worst score of the game this year.
I've done Suarez to Ade already and now considering Nani - Mata and Simpson to Baines for an 8pt hit.
Could do R Taylor direct to Baines for 4pts but would rather not lose him.
Alternatively I could just sit tight for another week. Any thoughts?Open ControlsThose are good changes. If you got R Taylor in cheap then don't sell him
Open ControlsIs it worth the hit though?
Open ControlsJust do Suarez to Ade,
Mata is playing newcastle this week, so I wouldnt do that one now.
And only do simpson to Baines if you really need to this weekOpen Controls
Had R Taylor since GW2. Thought he was a short term punt hoping for a goal and some value but loathe to lose him now.
Open Controls
Nathan Dyer picked up 3 bonus points the previous two times that Swansea drew 0-0. Will be interesting to see if he ends up on the list again.
Open ControlsI benched him and vorm in one of those games versus liverpool - 16 swan points on bench that week. A 3 from Dyer now will ease those bad memories 😀
Open Controls
Krul Vorm
Simpson Naylor Wilkinson McAuley Gabbidon
VDV Nani Sinclair B.Johnson Moses
RVP Rooney Aguero
Got a couple of frees this week but I'm contemplating WCing, I've become massively shite at this game.Open ControlsNot sure you need to WC yet. Do think that your balance of ubercheaper defence and uberheavy strikers needs adressing - there's a few good value strikers out there to replace Rooney and then maybe look at getting Baines/Richards/Jones over a few weeks?
Open ControlsGood advice, I am thinking of something similar, maybe Rooney out for Adebayor or an even cheaper option then get Baines and I'll probably be able to get another pricier midfielder in for Johnson/Moses as well. Would Rooney be the one u would lose? Reckon it's time to get rid of Nani too?
Open ControlsI really don't know. Aguero, Rooney and Nani could all be ditched but could also all score double figures next week and it wouldn't be overly shocking. I only said Rooney as he is the most expensive and there are more cheap striker options who are firing than midfielders.
Open Controls
downgrade rooney to Ade and upgrade one defender to Vidic,Vermaelen or Baines. Don't see a reason to WC. I have a similar team and was three times in a row below average which is massively disappointing. But still your team doesn't look that bad and just needs some minor changes.
Open ControlsHow about Rooney - Hernandez/Ade and Nani - Mata/Bale?
Does that give you enough to upgrade a defender to Baines next week or for a 4pt hit this?Open Controlsyou should have at least one decent defender. simpson has decent fixtures coming up so he can play alongside a new good defender, and you can rotate the rest depending on their fixtures.
Open Controls
Team for this week
Vorm
Enrique, Jagielka, Jones
Silva, VDV, Sessegnon, Walters
Rooney, RVP, Ba
Subs: Krul, Brown, Dyer, Naylor
Already used my 1 FT to do Agbon to Ba, look ok? Would quite like to play Brown but prefer 3 strikers to 4 defs.Open ControlsOwners of Van der Vaart, Ramsey and Sturridge... Stick or twist?
Open ControlsStick, twist, stick
Open ControlsDon't have Ramsey but sticking with the other two
Open ControlsStick.
If VdV is out this week (which I do doubt) then I'll lose him. Rambo has Wigan, I wouldn't take anybody out before Wigan. Sturridge is very cheap considering who he plays for and he's in form.Open ControlsI'm sticking with VDV. Just as likely to score points vs Bolton as Bale is IMO.
Open ControlsMore likely IMO. Bale is a winger, VDV playing as a striker whose on set peices.
Open Controls
Stick, dont own but would stick for Wigan, twist (only cos I couldnt pick between Ade and Chico so sacrified Sturridge and Rooney)
Open ControlsTwist, twist and stick.
Bale and nani imo.
Ive not got team linked as dont know how ? Looked all over site but do this on my mobile as PC given up. 9 green arrows tho 😉Open Controls
I am terrified of Ade being the new RVP I have two free transfers, which move is better?. Team is linked
A) Ramsey, BAE, Bendy OUT. -4pt
Ben Arfa, Ward, Ade IN
Logic: Ade is the new RVP and Ben Arfa plays OOP. Ward played as an attacking winger against chelsea, he could be employed in that role more often and he does attack a lot, he also has 3 good home fixtures in the next 4 games. Spurs defense is average and will always be average and Ramsey and Bendy failed to live up to expectations. Also this uses up all my cash exactly and allows me to keep Hernandez and my other more expensive players.
B) Hernandez OUT saves 1 FT
Ade IN
Logic: Its easy and I can re-assess everything with 2 FT after the next GW
PLEASE let me know if my thinking is sound and whether I should go A or BOpen ControlsHow bout VdV > Bale and Bendy > Ade?
If I had Chica I'd be loathe to drop him at the moment. VdV is the better pick than Bale in the long run IMO but Adebayor is a MUCH better pick than Bendy. Do Rambo > Barfa after the Wigan/Chelsea games.Open ControlsI would prefer VDV over Bale as he plays OOP and is on set pieces. I know Bale is in form but he was very quiet this week until the last 5 mins.
Open ControlsThe first one just doesn't seem to balance for me this week. You could be ditching a CS and an attacking Arsenal starter vs. Wigan and a striker eager to impress a new manager. Has all the sign-posts for biting you on the ass.
Open ControlsI agree, VDV over Bale every time. i wouldn't transfer him out just because bale is in a better patch at the moment - long term VDV will win and he's bound to be back this coming week anyway.
Open Controls
I just got Ade in for Suarez though I didn't like doing it as he'll likely get a hattrick next week.
I think B is the better option cos losing one good player to get Ade is better than losing two.Open ControlsRamsey, BAE, Bendy. None of them are good players at the moment
Open ControlsWhy is BAE not?
Open ControlsBecause he is a spurs defender. His history isn't great
Open ControlsBut Spurs fixtures are excellent. Defence has looked sturdier with Parker in front of it, BAE has been bombing forward a lot and consistently gets decent PPI scores. I just don't see why he's not a good player 'at the moment', this is the moment that he is a good player to own.
Open Controls
Do not drop Hernandez, get cash from downgrading VDV if he is out of next game.
Open ControlsVDV will be back next week IMO. I need to make a decision now to beat price rises. I have just enough for A). What is so wrong about option A) it makes sense to me
Open ControlsI dont like Ward tbh. I know he scored a goal other week but I would look elsewhere. Ben Arfa is gd shout, perhaps a week to early to get him in?
Open ControlsIt is a week earlier than I planned but its the only way I can get Ade in while keeping Hernandez and VDV. If Ward plays LM regularly he will be good value regardless of history. I would only play him in favorable fixtures anyway.
Open ControlsSeems like you got a good plan then. How much can you spend on that defender, any other better options? Otherwise I would go ahead with you proposed moves.
Open ControlsI have 4.6 for a defender. Ward is that price exactly and may start playing on the wing more regularly
Open ControlsWhat have you done ... 😕
Open ControlsMe?
Open Controls
Nicky Shorey ...
Open ControlsYes ... maybe - look at the fixtures. I have to confess I have just dumped Ward for Assou-Ekotto ...
Open ControlsHe is the poor man's Baines - look at his History ... 🙂
Open ControlsI had to get McAuley, in order to pay for all the other crap ...
Open ControlsI prefer WBA's fixtures ... 🙂
Open Controls
Just watched Liverpool/M.City on MOTD.
How many Citeh players were wearing gloves?
5, i counted...jeez it's only November ffs.
Just wait until Jan/Feb, when we get proper footballing weather.Open ControlsAnd they can't wear snoods, they could actually die, something has to be done Now!
Open ControlsAh Nasri and his snood brings back fond memories from the dream that is last year FPL season, I remembering captaining the snood wearing Nasri when he got the double versus Fulham.
Open Controls
Really tempted by Aguero --> Adebayor and S.Taylor --> Baines. I'll obvioulsy assess Aguero's chances of starting first though.
Open ControlsSame here, the thing stopping me is the fact I already knee jerked a 4pt hit.
Open ControlsBego, Ramsay, Sturr out Krul, Bale, Ba in. regret the Ba move now. Could have waited a week, but saved 0.4 with all the moves yesterday. If I get a full squad out next GW ill be happy with it. But I have RVP, Aguero, Silva,Drenthe, Vaart to worry about.
Open Controls
am looking at Aguero to Ba, but am looking at the same thing, but I really don't see him playing in CC (at least not starting)
Open ControlsGo for it
Open Controls
Baines > Kompany - good idea? And if so, do it this week or wait two GW's?
Kompany has NOR, che, ARS
Baines has STO, ars, NOR.
Waiting two weeks would mean ditching Kompany after Cheslea game and get in Baines for Norwich after Arsenal...doing it this week would obviously mean having Baines for all 3 and ditching Kompany now.Open ControlsKeep Baines. You would be chasing points, he doesn't score that often, especially off his shoulder
Open Controls+1
I would keep Baines at least until after the DGW.Open Controls
Godamnit, I meant Baines > Kompany a good idea...? My bad...
Open ControlsKompany > Baines! Jeez I shouldn't have had that last pint...
Open Controls
Dzeko surely has a great chance of a big haul next week. How long with Ballotelli be out for?
Open ControlsShould the priority be to ship out Ramsey or Suarez?? Want to get Larsson and Hernandez in for them, good idea?
Open ControlsNot sure if Larsson should be a main priority with Sunderland's form, even if they play Wolves. Suarez>Hernandez is a decent option.
Open Controls
Should I do Suarez,Lampard>Hernandez, VdV for -4. (depends on VdV fitness obviously)
Just got Lampard for the Wolves game and always planned to get rid for VdV or Bale. Not sure about Suarez. He has so many chances every game and will explode as soon as I get rid 🙁Open Controlsany ideas for a GK instead of given ??? already got ruddy
and i dont want vorm 😀Open ControlsA. Sorry lads if this has been asked previously on this thread, but is Abebayor likely to rise in price tonight?
B. Worth doing Suarez to Abebayor?Open ControlsWill rise, with Ba and A williams
Open ControlsYes and Yes. Just done the same transfer
Open ControlsWell, if he doesn't, I will be pissed.
Open Controls
If you really think the changes will benefit your team over the course of the next few weeks, then do it IMO.
Open Controls
Eugh that last tweet does not sound good.
I'd like one more week out of Rambo as I want Barfa in for him post-Chelsea/Wigan.
If Rambo is likely to miss out though I'll just do it for free this week and hope for the best.Open ControlsNope just hints that him Theo and RVP are a bit knackered. Hopefully the week off will do them good.
Open ControlsI wouldn't be surprised if some of them did get rested. It is against Wigan after all
Open ControlsThey will play in that game and not travel to Greece for final UCL game. Even if they lose that UCL game they will top the group.

Any advice for transfers this week? 0.1m in the bank, 1 free transfer and zero inspiration. Cheers
Westwood
Vermaelen, Brown, Wilkinson
Silva, VDV, Ramsey, Sinclair
RVP, Aguero, Adebayor
Ruddy, Simpson, Reo-Coker, WoodgateOpen ControlsDear all need some help 10 points behind mini league leader
i have no free transfers already used it on petrov to allen
my team is
vorm ruddy
enrique simpson kompany shawcross brown
vdv silva eagles allen walters
rvp ade suarez
is there anyone worth removing for a 4pt hit
please!!! thanksOpen ControlsIt is madness to ponder over playing Ruddy (away at Man CIty) instead of Given (home to Man Utd) this GW?
Ruddy save points potential?
*clutches at straws*Open ControlsLol @ people doing Suarez to Ade.
Suarez has got easy ass fixtures now ...Open ControlsLast league goal, September 18th. Goodbye mr Rooney.
Open ControlsI've just watched MOTD2.....Lawrenson...what a complete and utter slimey bollix.
I loved him as a player when I was growing up. As a Liverpool and Ireland fan he was an amazingly talented centre back who always seemed to be able to complete the perfectly timed sliding tackle with his long legs.
He was very unlucky to have his career ended by injury...nobody would wish that upon any player
He was also very adaptable, easily slotting into centre midfield and being creative from there....Phil Jones reminds me of him.
He is however, a total and complete asscock (to quote Boom)Open ControlsI miss Boom, he was entertaining idiot.
Open ControlsHe's on TotalFPL ... 🙂
Open Controls
Play R Taylor or Enrique this week?
Given (Ruddy)
Hibbert, Enrique, Kompany, Jones (R Taylor)
Silva, Murphy, Sinclair (Watson, Ferguson)
RVP, Aguero, AdebayorOpen ControlsShould I trade Rooney and Ramsey for Bale and Hernandez for no hit?
Open Controls0.1m in the bank, 1 freebie. Votes please...
a) Ramsey -> Walters
b) Woodgate -> Naylor
c) Save the transfer
d) Something else
Westwood
Vermaelen, Brown, Wilkinson
Silva, VDV, Ramsey, Sinclair
RVP, Aguero, Adebayor
Ruddy, Simpson, Reo-Coker, WoodgateOpen ControlsB. I would not want to play 2 sunderland defenders given their current form.
Open ControlsStoke's fixtures get dodgy real soon don't they?
I'd consider C and then do Rambo > Barfa and Woody > Somebody better the week after.Open ControlsI would be inclined to save the transfer this week with that team. Given that you don't have cash to work with, 2 xfers the following week gives you much more flexibility. Everton are tough enough at home so Ramsey v. Walters is a wash for this week imo. If you really want Naylor for a stretch of game then go for it but I say stand as you are.
Open ControlsI'm swaying towards this also. Had planned to sacrifice Aguero due to fixtures in GW15, something like Aguero & Woody -> Chico/Suarez & Jags/Enrique, but perhaps better to stick with him and lose Ramsey instead? (Wood & /Ramsey -> Jags/BAE & Barfa). Didn't see the game yesterday - any idea how Aguero played?
Open ControlsAm also wondering what to do with Aguero myself. I wont pull the trigger too quickly but Agureo to Dzeco/Ade/Chico does free up cash to upgrade mids. I went vdv to Bale for this reason as I think Bale is very good value for 8.4. I would see how this weeks pans out if I were you. I am going to push through this week with Aguero and take stock then. Have also been looking at Jags - had him for a good run early in season and ditched when their fixtures got tough. He's a good shout.
Open ControlsAguero was a little out of the game today through no fault of his own. Lucas did a great job containing those central channels in midfield so Aguero was working hard on his own upfront. Played well enough.
Open ControlsYeah, I think if Aguero doesn't sparkle against NOR this week he could well be on his way out. I already have Ade, so Chico/Suarez for me (not sure I can handle the Dzeko rotation...). Which do you prefer, Chico & Jags or Suarez & Enrique?
Open ControlsWould be Chico and Jags for me there. I got rid of Suarez weeks ago to catch RVP when his price was still under 12. If I ditch Aguero I don't think it will be for Suarez unless it's closer to dgw
Open Controls
B.

Can get 5/2 for Utd to win the league on Betfair.
Great value bet imo!Open ControlsRidiculous bet. It's simply a matter of how many points Citeh win by. United should be 5/2 to finish second.
Open ControlsThat's balls mate. Have previous premiership campaignsnot taught you anything? this is all new to city, and they don't look great at the back. We're only in november, loads of teams have led at this stage and bottled it. we'll see what they're made of when the real pressure is on in march/april/may.
5/2 are great odds for utd.Open ControlsCity are all but out of Champions League now so can concentrate fully on winning the league.
Open Controls
You are joking surely? How long have you been following football for? Man Utd after Christmas year after year are unstoppable, never ever write them off.
Open ControlsLonger than you - guaranteed. I'm basing it on the two squads.
United: Ageing, creaking at the back, struggling in the middle.
Citeh: Class across the board.
Please Buggu mark this - you can ridicule me in May when United win the title.Open ControlsI think you are a little off in your appraisal of that utd team
Open Controls
very good odds for a three horse race and this is not the time of the year when leagues are won.
