I don't make my transfers before Sat. This has always been my policy, unless for emergency.

Blackpool certainly had problems, but it was conditions outside the grounds that caused a lot of the games to be cancelled. I can't remember precisely when the cold snaps came for the last two years but I recall it being the sudden change that caused most of the cancellations as it meant the local authorities didn't have time to get enough salt out.

I wouldn't have him. He plays too deep when Chico plays, but if you stick it could prove dividends later on when he does score big and everyone has sold him

And I do agree regarding transfers - I think if you take intelligent hits it can pay off, if you make the right moves.

Have made things much easier for myself going forward, just by making quicks transfers if targets are in danger of having a price rise. Nice profit later, much easier to make any future moves.

Only take a points hit for a long term strategy and/or if a star player is out for some time. I took a few points hits early doors to sort out my team-now 8 green arrows-happens to me every year.
