Lots of good players on this site and soaking up the advice on offer makes a top 100 position (and therefore lots of independent money leagues) a real possibility.
Sky Sports is one of many fantasy dream team games i play.
Ive cracked all of them apart from this game. Played Sky Sports for some years now, tried going heavy on defence, cheap defence etc.
Am i right in thinking its more about planning the captaincy.
I must admit i spend less time with this game. Any advice would be appreciated.

Questions:
- Is Nsue nailed on? My other option is Ayala but he cost more
- Ramsey or Cazorla? I know Cazorla is more likely to get bonus but so can Ramsey and he is more attacking but Cazorla is cheaper..
- Will Fabregas get as many bonuses with Kante at Chelsea now? I just see him in the 10 role
- Cabaye is merely for bonus, I'd welcome other suggestions however - a bonus point player that scores and assists

I've got Nsue in my team too. From what I've read Barragan will just be cover so fingers crossed there.
Isn't Ramsey out for the start of the season? Assuming the double pivot is Xhaka and Cazorla then Ramsey will be either in the attacking mid 3 or benched. If he's in the 3 he won't get any bonuses.
Fab I'm waiting and seeing atm. He's gold if he's nailed but I don't think anyone knows yet what Conte's SXI will be.
Cabaye is a steady option. On pens too which is a good thing with a team like Palace that contain a lot of tricky wingers dribbling in the box. If you could find just under 1m though you'd be able to upgrade to Ayew/Siggy/Tadic.
Also I wouldn't go for Robertson personally. Hulls fixtures are savage and they have so few players fit. Could easily be on -5 after 5 GWS.
Hope that is the case with Barragan, someone else did suggest he'd be nailed on to start so unsure, heard both sides now haha
Not sure about Ramsey atm I just find his potential bp points and attacking returns hard to ignore..but maybe Cazorla is the way to go then..

Well I will do some more tinkering between now and the start of the season, and those three players you mention I have had in the past and return well, so will consider them.
Fair point about Robertson, he was cheap and a decent attacking defender for Hull, being a West Brom fan perhaps Dawson or the popular Brunt is a better route..

Midfield is fine although Ramsey may not start given Euro 2016 and if he does he could be RW denting his bonus potnetial. If he is central then hes absolute gold.
Cabaye could be good but seems on the decline FF wise.
Fabreags i currently have but also worry due to new formation, will have to watch pre-season intently.
Defence is poor imo, Keane the only one i would consider. Im not too clued up on Nsue though, i like Friend as an option personally.
Will have to keep an eye on the Ramsey situation, hope he does start and centrally, if not Cazorla it may well be.
Tbh Cabaye might be swapped out for a differential player once I discover one..I just like the fact he can get tackle bp's, and can chip in with goals and assists
Yea Fab is like Ramsey I guess in the sense of position and starts, another one on my watchlist!

I would have thoughts so yea but he seems to have been overlooked a bit when the stats back him:
Nsue: 38 app, 3 goals, 2 assists, 2 yellows, 18 CS, £5.2m
Friend: 40 app, 1 goal, 6 assists, 2 yellows, 19 CS, £6.3m
Ayala: 35 app, 3 goals, 2 assists, 7 yellows 17 CS, £6.7m
You could say he's sandwiched in the middle, I do think he's worth a punt BUT as Boro have signed Barragan I'm not sure if he will start, unfortunately.

Eggs in basket approach can work wonders but can fail catastrophically of course.

-I'm going Xhaka over Cazorla because he should be able to pick up TKL bonuses too. Plus Cazorla didn't really contribute with goals or assists when he played last year.
-Fabregas I realise is a must have in Sky but I want to make sure he's nailed before putting him in.
Only ones I'm concerned about are Nsue after the Barragan signing and Adomah. Though I hope Barragan is just for depth and Adomah regularly got 90 mins last year so hoping he'll be a regular as my enabler.

West Ham United City are all required imo for captains first 7 weeks so you have that covered.
Kane may start slow given last season slow start + Euros + no dembele.
Nsue i just dont know, hard to replace if not playing. Guess we will know closer though.
Thanks. I originally had Ibra over Kane but much prefer Mkhi to Eriksen/Alli or more cptncy coverage in Coutinho/Firmino. So that's kinda forced my hand with Kane as there's not much point doubling up. At least with Kane's price if he's a slow started it's only 1 transfer to any other striker.

A great almost differential now due to Ibra.
Firmino will be in my team eventually. Hes surprisingly good in the tackled department for an attacker (+2s)
I have always selected aguero but now I change Kane... I think spurs is a decenet side and Kane is definitely getting better... forget the Euros, seems like theres a curse for England...
Besides AGE, the stats shows that:
Player Goals/Team Goals = %contribution
Kane 25 / Spurs 68 = 37%
Aguero 24 / Manc 71 = 34%
Kane's also better than vardy at 36%
The only thing missing in those stats and your line of though is that Aguero has scored his goals in less game than Kane so I think a better stat to look is shots on goal per game. The more shots the higher chance of goal

Yeah I'm not sure about de roon either I know he has good tackling stats and should start, is there anyone else around his price range that's looking good I was thinking Leko but I'm unsure if he's a certain starter
I hope Leko becomes our Alli/Sterling/Michu/Barkley in their breakthrough seasons at 6.6.

De Bruyne to Ozil would be an option to give you Arsenal cptncy coverage and if you ever select a MCI captain it'll always be Aguero anyway. Though it's not essential with the way the fixtures are at the start of the season.
Should be fine with Fernandez. Though their fixtures are horrible after the first 2 GWs.
Looks a really solid team though.
Cheers, I have pondered with loosing either De B or Aguero (even worse for me to pick then as I am a Man U fan); however I struggle to get rid of either.
Would only be worthwhile to drop KDB to Ozil if the extra 0.2m can afford you an upgrade elsewhere. If not then leave as is.

One of the main differences is to go lighter on your defence with Sky.

Would love for you to hit a gold seam there of course. In FPL you could hide one of them on the bench for the trip the WHL in GW2 but here they might be exposed.
Got two them as palace not a bad team and solid defence and their both 6.4 million which is quite good . Looking at palace pre season where has papa souare disappeared too .
Souare has disappeared for the summer but there is no-one to take his place in the first team unless they go 3 at the back, which I can't see.

Are defenders valid captaincy choices? Or should it be just midfielders and forwards?
I think this season we may be forced into the odd one to avoid having to make a sub for every monday / friday game.
With 3 tackles + earning +2 they are certainly better placed to actually return points than before, 7 points for a goal too so you never know.

Yep all good bar the keeper really. Not only will he get a lot of minus points hes also a sub down the line when McGregor is back.
Hazard Fab are cheaper than Costa so that something to consider.
Not sold on Ibe but that might just be me.

Clean sheets for keeper are + 7 this season (defenders +5).
They are also far cheaper than their expensive defensive counter parts.
I think this is finally the season a premium keeper is worth it.

fair points, it was a pretty quick choice tbh. went for boyd based on 2 seasons ago, as for long not really checked out the prices or value for dough, unlike fpl where I know most of the prices off the top of my head

Could do with losing a DEF. 3-5-2 has shown to be the most productive formation. Sky game isn't very favourable towards defenders. The personnel is fine, just 1 too many.
Not sure Robles is nailed with Stekelenburg there too. Might be worth freeing up the funds to bump him to Courtois/Lloris/Cech.
Front 6 look tasty. Though with the rumours of Costa to Atletico you could drop him for Haz/Fab and free up the funds to make the keeper upgrade.
