Is Aguero worth £13m?
Defence is strong compared to what i usually go with in Sky.
Yes i think Aguero is worth 13m. If he starts playing injury hokey kokey then maybe not
Defo stick with Aguero. Defence is quite strong for the sky game, also lack of West Ham & Chelsea player might hurt you when it comes to captaincy options. Maybe downgrade Dann and think of changing Redmond (Europa) for Noble? Kane might also be affected by Dembele's suspension, you could look at Costa/Batshu.
Thanks for the reply, quite like the punt of Redmond at 8.2 mill good goal and assist threat. Kane is nailed on, can't workout if Chelsea going to have one up top and rotate between the two atm.
Decent. For me your midfield is a little risky though. Too many new players or ones that I'm just not fully convinced by. I think having one or two reliable picks like Ozil, Fabregas, Hazard, Noble etc might be a good idea. But maybe I'm just boring :p

Xhaka and Mkhit have good pedigrees but unproven in the premier league but worth the risk.

It looks like your defence is based too much on goals and tackle bonuses, I think it is good to realise that clean sheets will occur more frequently than a goal. Sunderland don't have a strong team and I think they will be leaky and Southampton have hard fixtures to start, so I wouldn't punt on Forster. I would swap PVA for a west Brom defender, then swap Forster for a Courtois or cech.
I really like your midfield and attack, but I do think you need one more goal scoring midfielder as you have 3 players that are there for bonuses (Cesc, Kouyate, Xhaka). Maybe swap out Xhaka for eriksen, or something?
Really like your team, well balanced in all departments plus all captaincy covered. Think Sunderland will be more solid at the back with Moyes so PVA will do well this year. Be careful with Costa because of the new rules regarding refs, his a booking waiting to happen plus not sure if his nailed this season either maybe swap with Sanchez when he returns.
Thanks for the feedback and all points noted. I'm thinking about Wijnaldum for Xhaka. He had good stats playing for a relegated side so he should do better with Liverpool. Unfortunately can't afford Cech but there might be better value. Any the thoughts on Butland or Adrian?
Good point on Costa a loose cannon but I've enough left to swap any striker up to Kane.
Probs Butland, think Stoke are going 3 at the back and with Shawcross back and Allen in front they will be solid eventhough they have tough fixtures to begin with. Also have a look at Foster, great fixtures to start with plus Pulis always has a solid defensive record hence plenty of clean sheets.

Good team all round, just not sure Arfield will get you many points. Maybe look to get in someone like Townsend instead as he looks great value this season. See how it goes with Fabo first because he could be gold.
Arfield only made it in just for a captain change in GW7
Burnley v Watford (Monday night game). Maybe looking to far ahead and possibly should use a sub to obtain a captain for that game day, but I think I would look at taking him out after that week and adjust team once fixtures are revealed. Not many options for captain for that day.
Very good point, did look at captaincy options for that day but not very good tbf. You just don't want to be losing too many points from the previous 5 matches for one captaincy punt, I think im gonna take a hit for that match.
He did score 8 goals and 6 assists in the championship last year, but your right if he doesn't hit the ground running he may only last a couple of weeks before I bring in Redmond, Townsend, or Adomah.

Is Feghouli mainly in there for cap strat? Don't know too much about him. Not overly keen on Cazorla but I can see why you've gone for him
I wanted to go with Ramsey but not sure if he will play at the start of the season. I did have Antonio in at first but think whm will be playing him more as a full back due to injuries. Yes I see a whm player is required for my captain strat. I have watch a couple of pre-season whm game and thought he looks good.
Have a look at Xhaxa instead, his potentially a 8 point a game man from bonus alone. Think Feghouli is a great punt btw, he does look good.
Xhaxa could be great. Pics up quite a few cards but that should easily be offset by his tackling and passing bonus.
Good to know on Feg, might have to scout him. I'll probably be going without a West Ham player to start with though, and then bring Payet in when ready. Not essential for my cap strategy
The 5 yellow and 3 red last season has put me off a little. I can see the value in the bonus points, but with the amount of midfields Arsenal have I think he will be the prime candidate to be substituted on 60mins if on a yellow. He also only score 3 goals and 1 assist in the Bundesliga. Arsene does break new players in slowly so may give him a month or two and see how it goes
Some good points there, bit of a hot head it seems Xhaxa. Might have to reconsider him.

This sky game is obviously for kids. How can any serious player even use their horrible site! Absolute scummy interface. Yuck.
It's a game for everyone just like FPL, whether your a kid or adult. A kid i know finished in the top 100 in FPL, so cool yourself. But your right they've messed it up with the interface, hopefully they can sort it out with the money Sky got!
Well obviously a kid who knows nothing about fantasy football designed the site, I have never seen such a user unfriendly site in all my years playing fantasy football. There is nothing nice about it. Give me a sick bag.

Compromises have to be made to enable websites to be more user friendly for mobile users. You have a wealth of knowledge at your disposal for free and it doesn't take long to re-orientate yourself to the new design..
Can't agree that it's more user friendly for mobile users either. Funny how the Americans can design user friendly fantasy sites for their market, a market which is huge compared to ours.
Agree that the interface is horrible, not sure about the American bit however. They have had some terrible sites, being an avid player of these sites for many years ive experienced some incredibly crap ones! Like i said sky should sort it out as the feedback they have been getting is not good at all. Again it's all just fun and games people, so just enjoy...

Would look at a 3-5-2 instead as proven to generate most points in the sky game, have a look at Disables previous post very helpful. Also not too sure about Long (Europa) plus tough opening fixtures. Maybe get a ManU player in due to captaincy options.

1. Silva.....? His history points to a 160-170 avg, last season he was injury prone. You guys think he start from the get go in this MCI midfield or will he ride the bench?
2. (Kane + Iglaho) /or/ (Ibra + Negredo) /or/ Ibra + Iglaho and downgrade Silva to Ericksen (keeps me in the Spurs offence)?

For the sky game look at a 3-5-2 formation, read through previous posts on why. Again defence too strong too, in the sky game you generally have a weaker defence. No sure about Ighalo very tough beginning fixtures. Maybe look to get in a ManU or West Ham player due to captaincy options.
I wouldn't both with Dier this year as now classed as a midfielder 60pts last year for clean sheets that he won't get this year also competition from Wanyama can see rotation in his position

Two Burnley home games to kick off with! I prefer Gray to Long and Wilson as the cheap striker to start. Cheap goal scoring defenders look value to me at 6-7.1m when the top boys are 10.0m or so.
I had Payet actually then sold for Noble, then sold him for Townsend who is cheaper. I would like Firmino in too! I expect it will evolve over time as it always does...

Got a good spread of 7 of the top teams for captain swaps in forward positions.
The obvious sacrifice is Fry, but with the midfielders in this game scoring so much higher than defenders I'm struggling to find a lower priced mid as a replacement to help upgrade the defence.
Any help appreciated.
Interesting team. Fry, van der hoorn and Wilshire won't start. Maybe swap Wilshire for Xhaxa? Mahrez don't think will hit the heights of last season. Keep your eye on Kane because the absence of Dembele always hinders him for some reason also Mane has some tough opening fixtures. Would look at Townsend or Delefou who look great value so you could upgrade your defence.

Apart from Chambers and Nyom thats a really good team. Think Koscielny and Gabriel will start so keep an eye on Chambers you could get Baines for 0.3 extra or PVA for the same price plus Nyom most likely be rotated, you can get Ward/Tompkins for 0.2 more maybe?
Changed the two defenders for starters guaranteed those mins. Your right, I have Baines now and the final spot is Francis the Bournmouth captain. Scored well last year and the first 6-8 weeks isn't too bad for them.

So in the sky game you can change captains? Is it like ufpl and you lose those captain points if you swap, or you keep them?
Yes you can have a different captain for each matchday and nothing like ufpl as you keep all your captain points as long as you change captain before the cut off point. The cut off point is before the first game of the day so be careful with that.

Double Everton defence looks expensive, Wijnaldum will start but would upgrade to Mane/Firmino instead as they will get more points i think. Lack of West Ham player mite hinder you when it comes to captaincy options otherwise good team.

Very good team. Leko could be the bargain player this season if he gets the minutes, keep an eye on him otherwise you could upgrade to Townsend with a bit of tweaking.

Not sure I see a whole lot of playing time for Sakho and Rashford nor Payet at the start of the season
It's absolute garbage. Try to get rid of the following:
1) players not involved from the start of the season.
2) players who probably don't start games.
3) cheap enabler fodder from big clubs, because they take important spots that you may want to use for more attractive big club assets at some point.
That's harsh, wouldn't say it's too bad for a first time player. Just a couple of tweaks needed. Brunt, Sakho and Rashford need to come out. Get a ManU and Chelsea player in for Captaincy purposes and your ready to roll.
