The festive period can be the scourge of the Fantasy manager. While the man on the street concerns himself with Christmas roasts and present wrapping, we’ve rest and rotation to occupy our thoughts- those leftover turkey sandwiches won’t taste quite the same if ‘Arry drops Rafa for the trip to Norwich on November 27.

With the fixtures coming thick and fast, our next article for Members takes a look at goal threat from midfield. Examining the top ten for “Threat” in our very own ICT Index over the past six gameweeks, we scour the Opta stats and analyse each player’s upcoming “difficulty of schedule” according to our ticker ratings.

Taking each player’s possible game time into consideration over the hectic upcoming period, we try to pinpoint those who look likely to continue producing the goods and those who will, perhaps, struggle to maintain their current levels.

Why the rush to dump Aguero?
Anybody take a look who is #2 in fantasy points this year behind the guy who is having a career year.

Bad fixtures, better options, he ties up a lot of cash and there is always the risk of rotation.

Hi – I have two free transfers. I’d like to make 3 and take a 4 point hit.
    As is:
    Vorm (Given)
Simpson, Kompany, Jose Enrique (Turner, Shawcross)
    Brunt, Silva, VDV, Ramsey (Sinclair)
    Sturridge, RVP, Adebayor

I would like to go take out
    Given, Shawcross, Ramsey

    And bring in
Cerny, Vermaelen and Eagles (good fixtures for Bolton coming up)

I'm also considering taking VDV out and putting Bale in so that I can put Walters in.

    What do you think?

Vorm at home for Swansea is your keeper so don't waste a change bringing in a sub keeper who can't score points for you. VDV to Bale I would go for as Defoe and VDV are competing for match time right now and VDV's hamstring is like a caramel wafer.

Eagles is a hit or miss so go for Bale in for VDV and Vermaelen in for Kompany. Chelsea will score against City

Thanks. I agree that Vorm will be my first choice. I was only subbing Given to free up funds. But probably not worth the 4 point hit.

I like the caramel wafer mention!

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Really need some input on the following guys. This is for my Sky Sports Fantasy team.

For a cheap defender the options are Warnock or N.Taylor of Swansea.

If I go for Warnock I can only afford Friedel which I like the sound of or if I pick Taylor I can choose from Hart, Reina, Szczesny or Friedel.

    Cheers

Man, Norwich's Bradley Johnson is flying up the NTI board. He's at 90%, has gone up 6% so far today, and could go up in price tonight. Any reason why the sudden interest in Johnson? Could it be lots of Joe Allen owners who need to change to a similarly priced player because of Allen's red card?
