A typically disciplined Burnley performance nullifies Watford’s recent attacking verve and earns a precious three points at Turf Moor. Here’s the Stock Check after Monday brought the curtain down on Gameweek 6.

On the Rise

Tom Heaton
A second clean sheet of the season promoted Heaton back to the top of the FPL keeper rankings on 27 points.

Priced at 4.6, Heaton goes on confirming his value in well-drilled Burnley defence that, at Turf Moor at least, should go on generating shut-outs.

Michael Keane
Arriving in the Premier League with a reputation as a threat from set-pieces, tonight Keane delivered his first Premier League strike.

Five goals during Burnley’s promotion season flagged up his goal threat and saw him claim a 5.0 initial price in the FPL. While that has since fallen to 4.9, we’ll need to see more from Keane to warrant that outlay with Heaton an option in goal.

Steven Defour
If we ever go knocking for a Burnley midfield with 6.0 to spend then Defour will be our go-to option.

Clearly a class act, the Belgian has registered three assists a goal and six bonus points in his Burnley tenure so far. He is, however, still to complete 90 minutes.

In Decline

Jose Holebas
We were grateful to see him fit to claim his starting role at left wing-back but this was not an enjoyable evening for the Greek.

Pinned back in the first-half by a determined Clarets, Holebas was forced into a traditional left-back role with Walter Mazzarri’s tactical changes as the Hornets chased the game.

More significantly, he earned a fourth booking of the season and is now just a single yellow away from a one-match suspension. After suffering defeat in the EFL Cup, they also don’t have the option of allowing him to absorb any suspension outside of Premier League action.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

So Ibra dropped again, had him from the start so that's .2 lost in real usebale sale value.

End of days stuff right there.

surprised you got rid of him for this week. Looked great against leicester and stoke are leaking goals - Stoke have only beaten man utd a few times in the last 40 clashes

I didn't get rid of him Brendon, he's my C this week 🙂

Just putting some prespective to his drops.

You can't do much with .2 so there's not really that much of a doomsday scenario to it, would rather a 30 pt captain haul than .2 in SV.

    Foster Jaku
    Evans Stones Shaw Amat Pieters
    Antonio Sterling Capoue Firmino Redmond
    Aguero Lukaku Ibra

Was disappointed that Antonio, Ibra, Lukaku and Firmino failed to deliver in the last GW. I have 1 FT now, 0.0 ITB, what should I do?
WC still available, might use it during the upcoming international break to bring in Sanchez and change the whole team structure.

I get that Rash is a sexy pick and should do well this week but after the nice Stoke fixture is some poor fixtures and still not assured of starts or playing time.

Even at 6.9 feel there are better and safer 3rd forwards to bring in.

Austin for me but having Capoue plays a part in that decision. City and Pool are the only 2 teams where a double-up seems sensible

If I didn't have Capoue, Deeney could be an option but I still prefer Austin atm (probably memories from the 2014-15 season clouding my judgement)

Morning ladies. Have a wildcard in my pocket so don't mind an aggressive game.

    Here are dilemmas my options.

    a) Play Stones
    b) Play Capoue (AOA)
    c) Friend -> BOU defender and play BOU defender

Alternatively, a transfer i'm considering is

Benteke -> New Striker (7.7M budget)

I agree with Rash as C over those players. But not getting Rash as fixtures not the greatest and still not convinced he will start match to match or get significant minutes.

like all players - he will if the team keeps winning and playing well - most managers don't change a winning team and jose certainly doesn't - that will be his front 4 for now barring injury

Giroud looks finished if this stays as it is. Perez fine as back up.

That front four looks very balanced at the moment but it's impossibly weak in the air against bigger teams.

I am vying toward him more cookie and the 0.2 saving could be handy to have in the bank like you say.

Only have 6.6 for a striker now so gonna take a punt on Callum Wilson’s fixtures!

    01 Oct 15:00 7 Watford (A)
    15 Oct 15:00 8 Hull (H)
    22 Oct 12:30 9 Spurs (H)
    29 Oct 15:00 10 Middlesbrough (A)
    05 Nov 15:00 11 Sunderland (H)
    19 Nov 15:00 12 Stoke (A) 2

Spurs the only bad game there IMO!
