Gameweek 7 comes to its conclusion as Burnley welcome Arsenal to Turf Moor.

The Gunners roll up on the back of four straight league wins, with Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott both in fine recent form.

The Chilean teed up Walcott’s pair of strikes in the midweek Champions League win over FC Basel and with three double-figure hauls in four, carries the armband hopes of many at Turf Moor.

Walcott has now notched five times in seven across all competitions and has risen to 6% ownership in Fantasy Premier League.

Another big performance today would surely kick start a bandwagon over the international break, yet Arsene Wenger’s side face an obstinate Clarets rearguard that has conceded just five goals in the previous 17 league matches in front of their own supporters.

Up to 27k thanks to Kosc and Wally. Happy with the solid start to the season so far.

    Pickford
    Koscielny, Valencia*, Pieters
    Mane, Firmino, Sterling, Walcott
    Aguero, Benteke, Lukaku

    Foster, Capoue, Collins*, Amat....0.0itb

See any obvious transfers here? Valencia--->Vertonghen perhaps? One of my mids to Son (not sure I want to drop any of them though)?

No rush - no point keeping Ibra. Already big numbers transferred out. Walker looks like being the best defender to have this year so he's a long term investment before he gets too expensive.

On holiday from next week, so need to sort team pre internationals. So thinking:

What are people thinking about Antonio? Looking hard at Milner, usually don't like two in the same position in the same team (already have Firmino), but there are so many points in pool midfield that at 6.6 on pens, he looks like good value.

Think doubling up on pool mids is good plan. Not sure Milner is the right one tho. Too dependant on pens.

Is it worth downgrading Mané > Firmino in order to do Baines > Koscielny?

I know, just fear getting burned without a Spurs/Arsenal defender.

Wouldn't bother personally. All it takes is for Mane to have one good game and it could easily happen.

Haven't the Liverpool mids showed that they are all worth owning?

It would enable Koscielny with those fixtures.

Could come off as a classic example of chasing points though, no need to use a transfer on somebody who's going to come good - is there anyone else you can downgrade if you really want Kosc?

Just realised if I want to do Valencia --> Vertonghen I have to do it tonight or tomorrow before he rises. Not sure it's worth the risk really...

I have same gks, mids and fwds and in same quandary. Rashford > c. Wilson frees up cash to upgrade jaku to 4.5 gk. Or Antonio > Snodgrass frees up enough for jaku > cech

I think Ibra and Antonio are still good picks for next GW, can understand why you want arsenal coverage for swansea game, what other options do you have?

                    Team atm

                    Sterling - Firmino - Antonio - Snodgrass - Capoue
                    Kun - Ibra - Lukaku

I waited to bring in Sanchez/Walcott because I needed to sell Ibra to get the funds (and also hoping he was going to award me for sticking with him..). I know Ibra and Antonio will punish me when I finally sell them - but seeing that I don't have any Arsenal coverage at all, I can't really spend another GW behind the couch..

How expensive is your defence? You should be able to afford upgrading snoddy to Walcott, cleanies are so rare atm I wouldn't have more than one +5m defender

We have a similar team, it's difficult, I just worry than Ibra will explode against liverpool as he loves the big games and they don't come much bigger than man utd vs liverpool

It's just that Ibra costs too much to keep, when there are midfielders that are bringing in more points.
My logic right now is that if I bring in Sanchez, it's like bringing in an attacker really since he's OOP and scores like an attacker.

My defense is Walker - Coleman - Evans - Amat - Holebas

Walker seems to be a long time keeper and I'm getting rid of Coleman when the fixtures are turning for the worse.

Why I'm not keen on bringing in Walcott instead of Sanchez is because my two biggest rivals already has him and for me to catch up, I need to have atleast 2-3 different player (not counting defense).
