Same situation having Schwarzer. Because GKs are such low priority transfers and FUL fixtures crap anyway, Schwarzer is still nowhere near falling, still +3%. Check on Friday night how he's doing but you may be able to delay the transfer til next GW- unless you need the keeper for this week.

Howard is the best replacement but I don't think keepers are where you should put your money and he's 5.4. Looking at cheapies Sorenson (hmmm) Hennessey (ugh) or even downgrading to replacement keeper Stockdale as Fulham's fixtures rotate well with Vorm.

I've been thinking exactly the same for all three of those points. Point 3 comes with a caveat though - midfield has been crap in general except for a core of expensive high scoring mids from the top 6. Given the state of the rest of 'em, you cannot afford to be without at least 3 big hitting mids (pick from Nani/Mata/VDV/Bale/Silva/perhaps Adams, and Young and Walcott depending on how things go). Since there are many cheap striking options it seems daft not to splash leftover cash on grabbing the only quality mids.
