The final fixture of Gameweek 9 sees us pay visit to Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea entertain former manager Jose Mourinho and Man United at 4pm.

The home side have chalked up two straight wins and clean sheets since Antonio Conte switched to a 3-4-3 formation, defeating Hull and Leicester in consecutive Premier League fixtures.

Diego Costa is the Blues’ main threat, having scored or assisted in seven of the Blues’ first eight fixtures.

The Spain international sits just one booking short of a single-match suspension, though it’s worth noting that a caution today would see him sit out the midweek EFL Cup clash with West Ham and free him up to face Southampton in Gameweek 10.

Those who have held onto Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be hoping for signs of a return to form, bearing in mind the Reds then host Burnley next weekend.

The Swede – who is the second most-captained player for Gameweek 9 – has plummeted in price to 11.3 after scoring just one goal in his previous six league outings.

    Hi guys.

    I have 0 Liverpool coverage. Is hazard and Antonio to coutinho and firmono worth it? Hazard looks dangerous, but the only other player to sell to raise money for Antonio is Sanchez.

    Thanks for any advice.

      I wouldn't ditch Hazard given form and fixtures. In my opinion you should sell someone else than Sanchez to liberate funds for a Liverpool player

        Okay. Maybe you were just adding for context. I don't know what you believe, but you could ask some Nice fans if they feel Ligue 1 is a more competitive league than the Bundesliga 🙂

        They were riding high in Ligue 1 (and are still top) when they were beaten and outplayed on home soil by a Schalke 04 team that were bottom of the Bundesliga with 5 losses in 5 games.

      If any of Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern were to lose a game at home to a mid-table team, we'd view that as those giants not being up to the standard we're used to, that they're in a slump.

      If this happens in the PL we're quick to praise the underdogs, we very rarely accept that our top teams just aren't very good and they must be up there with Europe's elite.

      Ticking along, but probably too expensive for a 5th and not good enough for a 4th. He'll very very rarely score or get any bonus, but he will get a fair few clean sheet points. It's a good spot though, well done!

    Kun's good and never going to be back. For his worth, the money could be better invested elsewhere in the team especially the way City is set up now. Perhaps it would be better to invest in KDB or even Sterling for the matter. Too many mids providing better value for him.
