Frustrated by the international hiatus and with Granville tied up in political red tape, Jonty and Andy tag along as we go hunting for our Fantasy Football mojo.

Andy dons his Zlatan mask in celebration of a belated brace, as we talk flags – for far too long – tackling the lively break “Hazard controversy” head on.

Premium strikers, price drop bargains, Christmas shopping and the baby imminent table all earn oxygen, as we desperately attempt to brush away the ring-rust and look ahead to Gameweek 12.

Looks like I have dodged the de Gea dropping bullet for tonight (there is still time though) and I can find out if Butland will be fit in the Stoke press conference tomorrow before trading him out

Someone tweeted in response to the Coutinho photo that he's just getting his muscles checked for fatigue. Has this been discussed? When is the Liverpool presser?

I'm definitely no expert, but I've never heard of an MRI being done for physiological fatigue.

Lol! If he's having a scan it might be just to determine whether any aching/discomfort is a mild tear or just general muscle ache.

As previous reply. I wouldn't worry about him.

He's the highest owned player in the game at nearly 50% (probably closer to 70% active)...if he fails to show then he fails to show for most of the game.

worries are for those who Hv made transfers and are still not barely able to field 11 players let alone coutinho injury now

also a price drop is imminent if he don't plays as masses will transfer him out rapidly

Not sure on the price drop - will largely depend on diagnosis. They have a decent run and missing 1 game I don't think will cause an exodus.

forget a winter break, get rid of the stupid international breaks during the season.

So sick of them and the utter chaos they cause. We have had to suffer 3 of the bloody things in the opening 4 months. It is utterly ridiculous.

yep that would certainly work, it's unbelievable that fifa/uefa believe the current process works

Managers and players need to start speaking up. Alot of the teams have half the squad flying out around the world every 3 weeks for the last 4 months. Get a bit of form, start getting fit and then there is that bloody international break again. I hate them!

Indeed, but it also seems managers are nicer people overall Klopp, Koeman, Conte, Poch etc (maybe Mou and Pep not as much) and have the money to do this. I would expect it to become common place.

                Indeed..and so they should be.

I have been a manager of many things in my time and I absolutely know that you keep good friends close to you. If any football manager wants a good deal for the next unsettled player then keeping "good company" is the way to go. Mourinho knows F all...

Agreed. On both counts. It seems they will do things for the greater good rather than trying to steal an advantage on their opponents. Mou needs to fight, if there's no fight then he just looks a bigger idiot every time he tries to start one.

    Coutinho - Firmino - Walcott - Hazard - Allen
    Costa - Agüero - Diomande

Already taken a hit. This really isn't pretty is it? I think I will have to take a hit to change Smith to someone, hope Amat wins his place back.

Save, dump Lukaku next week, and use the cash and extra FT to sort your team out.

(And dump Kun gw 14 or 15 and _really_ get your team sorted.)

  13. Phreak4piano

    Heaton (Pickford)
    Lovren Bellerin* Holebas* (Cameron* Amat*)
    KDB Firmino Coutinho* Chadli* (Fletcher)
    Aguero Lukaku Wilson*
    1FT, 0.0itb

Would be nice to have 11 players that actually play. Considering Bellerin > Alonso and Amat > Nyom for -4. Possibly also Cameron > Pieters for -8. Thoughts?

RMT and projections would be _so_ much more useful if actively updated. The instant a gw starts, need to dump it from projections, as it's just stale news clouding future projections. And the quicker we can get likelihood to start from new injuries, updated recovery time, etc., the better. Yes, I know there are other sites that do this kind of thing, but I think RMT is very good, but it suffers with the lag time.

Do we expect Walcott to start most games this season?

He's always going to be a rotation risk, but he's got great form now, so can't see him sitting yet.

Hello DZ!! I'm sure it's a vast understanment to say we all can't wait to get back into FPL and away from flags, haircuts and maternity wards.

Think I'm still gonna save atm and hope for the best. Any advice? Ship one of the "in doubt" mids, or maybe Holebas for somreone like Pieters or Kone?

    Walker, Fuchs, Evans
    Sanchez, Walcott, Firmino, Coutinho
    Kun, Lukaku, Austin

Save if possible. Allen covers Coutinho etc if needed.

I'd want Sanchez back for next week (BOU) so seems a wasted transfer.

Considering either AOA or taking a hit.
