And so it begins. Gameweek 13 gains momentum with an early kick-off at Turf Moor as Manchester City drop in on Burnley.

The build-up to this match was laced with uncertainty and the teamsheets reflect that, although perhaps not in the way we envisaged.

Sergio Aguero starts for City but Pep Guardiola builds his notoriety among Fantasy Football managers by leaving Kevin De Bruyne on his bench and omitting both Ilkay Gundogan and John Stones from the squad. Yaya Toure’s start in midfield was at least expected and, with David Silva also benched, the Ivorian looks set to be deployed in the number ten role.

Burnley also spring an unpleasant surprise with their selection, as the “essential” Tom Heaton misses out with a calf injury. Veteran Paul Robinson starts between the sticks and is charged with repelling Aguero and the City attack.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Meh, serves Pep right for this rotation.
Bayern and his Barca could rotate and demolish teams.
    It's difficult here

Lol. His Barca teams were notorious for not rotating, actually

        Actually that's a fair point
And his rotation from Bayern was possibly brought aboutAnd his Bayern team had so many injuries, he may have felt rotation was necessary to avoid injuries here

Barca drew 0-0 at home with Malaga last week after resting Messi & Suarez. Bayern lost 3-2 away in midweek resting neuer.

We didn't rest anyone lol. We just played crap. Messi fell ill before the match and Suarez was suspended. But I understand your point...

I don't think pep has yet realized how essentiel kdb was in his team. You can possibly play without aguero but not without kdb

        Disagree
U can have aguero and silva and no kdb.

But no kdb is of far less impact than no aguero. Kdbs job is to feed that man

Gomes (the Watford GK) is saying that Capoue prefers attacking rather than defending and is given the freedom to charge forward. Time for Capoue 4th mid?

No, but Gomes is an own position at Watford. Manager is assistant to the Gomes position.

We had this discussion on here when their easy fixtures started, the ones who tried, quickly moved him back to a 5th midfielder.

A goal will be fine for me, given Burnley away is tough.
But it's not just Aguero playing poorly. Either Silva or KDB would make it much easier for him

I know it's difficult to question Pep, but surely anyone with a bit of football knowledge knows that away at Burnley you need creativity to break them down, cue Silva and KDB benched

I think I have to sell Aguero if he blanks today, which is still far away from happening...

Chelsea next, and then rather tough X-Mas period in which he will see rotation, I mean, just looking at City's attacking depth it's obvious, KDB and Silva benched now, Pep will rotate strongly... And his price is also going to fall if he blanks, and I can have Kane/Costa if I sell him...
