Regrets come hand-in-hand with Fantasy Football – if you get through the season without one, you’re either extremely fortunate or you just don’t care enough. Either way, you’re unlikely to be reading this.

Most of us of come to terms with them, have learnt to ride them out and plough on regardless but, even I’ve got to admit, Alexis Sanchez’ Gameweek 14 stung a bit.

Thankfully, with Sergio Aguero harbouring his own regrets, my path to sheepishly welcome Sanchez back into the fold is signposted rather clearly.

The Sanchez wounds and the Aguero fall-out dominate this week’s ScoutCast, which also marks a debut for moderator and long-time community member AZ. He steps in with Granville tangled in political red tape to join Jonty, Andy and myself for a lengthy and lively episode.

We gripe about the volatile market, quiver in fear at the idea of the “Titan teams” and, of course, preview the weekend with a scattering of statistics, speculation and pure guesswork.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Wednesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link or the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Will he play? If not I've got de roon coming on. And then Mané will no doubt get double figs.

Not sure if I qualify for that, but Walcott > Son this week. Nearly saved the FT but caved in the end.

Kind of wanted to wait for Walcott having Stoke at home as a swansong, but Son was rising and it was looking like Walcott may fall (one drop would have lost me selling value) plus I also fancy Son to do something at Old Trafford this weekend, his next two are plum home games of course.

Bit boring, possibly sideways, possibly even backwards if Walcott produces a somewhat overdue haul, but we'll see!

        What you done/doing?

Top 400 and you still had Sterling 😮 well played sir.

I'm a tiny bit behind you but he's long gone.

Watch him fire now or Pep play him as false 9 or something, can you imagine the price rise on Sterling if he started up front this weekend and hauled?

I was feeling good about those transfers, cheers haha. Sterling killed me for weeks, this is my first -8 in all my years. Felt it was necessary, too much risk with Sterling but you are probably right!!

Haha sorry! I'd of made the same moves, for what it's worth.

I'm in a similar boat having just got rid of Walcott (again) this week ... kind of feel like that one could come back to bite me rather soon.

Not in the same boat on the hits though, I've done 3x -12s and a -8 in the last 4 gameweeks 😀

                Best of luck!

Had to ditch Aguero, jerked Sanchez, wanted Alonso and squeezed Cedric in before the price rise (0ITB)
Had to choose between de Roon + 4 and Iheanacho. The latter seemed more fun.

His goals per minute make him a mini Aguero...

Only issue really is the starts. Have no doubts he will score if given the chance

Looking ahead to GW16, which of the following sets of transfers do you like most for a -4 hit. No Chelsea cover at all at the moment

      Option A

      Firmino to Can
      KDB to Hazard
      Austin to Costa

      Front 8 after changes

      Sanchez, Hazard, Can, Gundogan,Redmond
      Kane, Costa, Wilson

      Option B

      Firmino to Can
      Austin to Carroll
      Redmond to Hazard

      Front 8 after changes

      Sanchez, KDB, Hazard, Gundogan, Can
      Kane, Wilson,Carroll

People in a similar dilemma as me could find these season stats interesting.
Divock Origi: 260mins, 6 shots, 4 on target, 2 goals
Kelechi Iheanacho: 301mins, 17 shots, 5 on target, 3 goals

Everything but the shots tick, hard to interpret this properly, so the fixtures should do it for me.

Surprised about people daring to go down the Carroll route. He is after all the Sturridge of West Ham. Also likes taking a pint or two with Randolph. Wouldn't be surprised if he got himself injured after falling off a chair at the pub....
