Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs West Ham United

The final match of Gameweek 15 sees Liverpool welcome West Ham United to Anfield in the 4.30pm kick-off.

Both Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are highly fancied against a Hammers defence that shipped five at home to Arsenal last weekend.

Mane has served up points in five of his six home outings, whilst Firmino will be looking to banish a three-match barren run and return to the form that has already seen him register 15 points in front of his own supporters on two occasions.

Divock Origi looks to score for the fourth successive match in all competitions to strengthen his claim as a mid-price festive frontman.

West Ham, meanwhile, have home encounters with Burnley and Hull followed by a trip to Swansea in the upcoming three Gameweeks.

We’ll be looking for signs of form from Dimitri Payet and the fit-again Michail Antonio, then, while big Andy Carroll is named amongst the subs against his former club, having emerged from the bench to net the Hammers’ consolation against Arsenal last time out.

    Would you:

    A) Capoue/Allen -> Sigurdsson?
    B) Firmino -> Payet/Eriksen?
    C) the front is ok, spend money in defense (i.e. get Alonso)

      Both are competing equally but IMO Rojo is a natural leftie to maybe Jones is more insecure

        I'm thinking if bailie comes back in he might push rojo to left back and keep Jones in as well but then I start worrying that smalling is going to come back and take a spot and then I start to worry about blind and Shaw. I might just for for Jose Fonte.

      Think there is always a chance he will be rotated.....or klopp plays a false 9.

      But think klopp likes the lad and while he is scoring I think he keeps his place.

      Think I'll get origi as my Austin replacement ahead of llorente.

      A scoring lpool striker at that price.....hard to turn down....
