Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs West Ham United

The final match of Gameweek 15 sees Liverpool welcome West Ham United to Anfield in the 4.30pm kick-off.

Both Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are highly fancied against a Hammers defence that shipped five at home to Arsenal last weekend.

Mane has served up points in five of his six home outings, whilst Firmino will be looking to banish a three-match barren run and return to the form that has already seen him register 15 points in front of his own supporters on two occasions.

Divock Origi looks to score for the fourth successive match in all competitions to strengthen his claim as a mid-price festive frontman.

West Ham, meanwhile, have home encounters with Burnley and Hull followed by a trip to Swansea in the upcoming three Gameweeks.

We’ll be looking for signs of form from Dimitri Payet and the fit-again Michail Antonio, then, while big Andy Carroll is named amongst the subs against his former club, having emerged from the bench to net the Hammers’ consolation against Arsenal last time out.

    A) Firmino and Diomande -> Antonio and Origi (1.0 ITB) (-4)
    B) Firmino -> Mane (0.5 ITB) (straight swap - no hit)
    C) Something else.

    N.B. Hull/Stoke have a difficult run of games coming up.

    I can do Anichebe and Firmino to Origi and Lallana with 0 money ITB.

    Worth doing or anyone else I should consider? Really want to drop Firmino, he just looks so uninterested these past 2 games.

        Appreciate it! I only took 2 hits in 13 gameweeks. I've fallen from 70k to 300k and I knew it's time to shake things up. Last week I bought Costa, Walcott and Austin for -8 and these week an amazing -8 hit. Austin, Holebas, Koscielny > Origi, van Dijk, Alonso. I chose the wrong one between Holebas and Pieters but it is what it is. My other plan was benching Austin and buying Alonso, which would've mean playing Amat and Holebas. Even that would've turn out well I'm really happy because I didn't go for Iheanacho and Cedric and tried something different. This week I can save a transfer and my team looks very strong once again.
