Dugout Discussion – Liverpool vs West Ham United

The final match of Gameweek 15 sees Liverpool welcome West Ham United to Anfield in the 4.30pm kick-off.

Both Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are highly fancied against a Hammers defence that shipped five at home to Arsenal last weekend.

Mane has served up points in five of his six home outings, whilst Firmino will be looking to banish a three-match barren run and return to the form that has already seen him register 15 points in front of his own supporters on two occasions.

Divock Origi looks to score for the fourth successive match in all competitions to strengthen his claim as a mid-price festive frontman.

West Ham, meanwhile, have home encounters with Burnley and Hull followed by a trip to Swansea in the upcoming three Gameweeks.

We’ll be looking for signs of form from Dimitri Payet and the fit-again Michail Antonio, then, while big Andy Carroll is named amongst the subs against his former club, having emerged from the bench to net the Hammers’ consolation against Arsenal last time out.

      He's missing the next match anyway. The match at the weekend I actually think there may be a chance if recovery is good, but it's quite likely he won't be back until December 26th.

      Hard to say. I didn't think much of Origi today, very fortunate goal but aside from that there was little that grabbed my attention. With Can back they have enough mids to bench Divock if needs be. Then again, if any action is taken with the Mané punch, he could certainly be nailed on.

          Punched Carroll, ref didn't spot it but videos picked it up. Don't know if they'll act on it at all.

          That it does and at the end of the day, he's getting FPL points. Doesn't matter how fortunate he may have been today, still got his owners a goal.

    Instead of Payet or Eriksen I've decided to hit a Chelsea double up with Firm -> Haz. Fixtures may be slightly tougher than Spurs or West Ham, but Sunderland and Palace in his next two are hardly what you'd call resolute defences.

    A) Firmino and Diomande -> Antonio and Origi (1.0 ITB) (-4)
    B) Firmino -> Mane (0.5 ITB) (straight swap - no hit)
    C) Something else.

    Hull and Stoke have a tough run of games so I kinda need to sort out Allen/Diomande as I surely can't continue playing either one fo them (Allen looks garbage again).
