A Gameweek that has delivered modest returns so far, continues at pace with an tea-time encounter of some promise.

Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield, with Fantasy managers on alert and on a scouting mission as Sergio Aguero makes a return from a four-match ban to lead the attack for Pep Guardiola’s men.

There’s also a significant change in the Reds line-up, as manager Jurgen Klopp brings Emre Can into his starting XI, shifting Roberto Firmino back to the central striker role, with Divock Origi dropping to the bench.

The Belgian went into Gameweek 19 found in more than 434,000 FPL squads having provided four goals and two assists in his last six appearances.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Transfers made:

    Hazard to Phillips
    Siggy to Townsend
    Defoe to Kun

    Leaves me with:

    Foster | Grant
    Alonso | Jones | Holebas | Holgate | Amat
Sanchez | Lallana | Townsend | Phillips | De Roon
    Kun | Ibra | Costa

    I think I'm happy

Thanks. Only other 4.9 options are Gray and Routledge.

Was also looking at Siggy Nyom âž¡ Phillips Bellerin. Trollkaku remains to face a shambles Saints defense. And Arsenal's fixtures look good. WOuld give me a very pricey defense, though. Thoughts?

It depends on how badly you want Kun. I'm personally holding off.

I would do A and then reassess.

I'm not a fan of pricey defences either, plus Bellerin is away to Bournemouth (likely to concede).

            Thanks again.

Going back and forth on Kun. Apart from Burnley, a few tricky fixtures to get the rust off and then we're back to rotation possibility with Champions League. Another hour to have a think before deciding. Difficult to ignore Bellerin's attack potential vs Palace Bournemouth Swansea Burnley Watford.

              Not to worry.

Bellerin is a good shout, but I'm not sure about the -4. I'd prefer playing Nyom at home to Hull and making the switch next week instead.

I've got a similar dilemma with Cedric to Brunt for -4. Might do it.

They are OK fixtures. Up and down with a few tough games, but it's Defoe and he is more than capable scoring against big teams that dominate the game. It means he can use his pace to get in behind defences like he did against Man City. On pens so he can score like he did against Arsenal

I think so, it came down to Hazard or Costa for me and since Haz only cost me 9.9 I decided to keep him and go 3-5-2. There's plenty of good low to mid priced mids at the moment. WBA and CPL have great fixtures 1 of each of their mids (Phillips, Cabaye for sample) look good as 4th & 5th mids

Was just asking this too. I mentioned how firmino is more likely to be dropped as Origi and Sturridge are straight replacements. Henderson also picked up a knock today so that could be him out, perhaps increasing the liklihood of Lallana playing again?

Or does his recent return from injury make him more prone to a rest? Who knows. I may take a hit to get him in anyway.

I'm going for Rondon over Philips. Purely because I need a new striker for Iheanacho

What was the reason Origi didn't start today?
Chance he starts vs Sun? Looking to double up on pool for that game.

Klopp probably felt like he needed extra security. Extra body in midfield (Can).

Plus Origi is young, so would be the first to be 'dropped' for such a big fixture.

I know it's my fault 100% but still a bit annoyed I was "talked out" of doing Pedro to Phillips.

    Got Pieters' 0 pointer instead.

    Stupid idiot that I am.

Would you do David Luiz âž¡ Azpi for 1 FT or carry it over for next week with the FA cup?

I've done my 2 transfers (had 2ft's) which were:
Cedric out - Ake in &
    Siggy out - Lallana in

Thinking of playing A.O.A. chip as follows:
    Foster (Randolph)
    Alonso, Jones (Holebas, Ake, Amat)
Sanchez (c), Hazard, Eriksen, Lallana, Phillips
    Ibra, Costa, Negredo

Am I gtg & do you agree on playing the aoa chip. If I don't use the chip I'd have play Holebas & I'd have to bench one of my front 8 & atm it would either be Eriksen or Hazard. You can't have one of those two on the bench could you.
    Thoughts & thanks.

Damn. Lovely midfield that. I'd definitely play AOA.

However, keep in mind that if anyone's rotated with how these fixtures are set up, might just negate the usefulness of that chip.

i see your dilemma but i prefer to use that chip when really need it due to injuries

My concern would be, with such a high risk of rotation in GW20, you're AOA chip could well end up wasted.

Thanks boys. Good point re the chip & the effect of possible rotation. I might bench Hazard then to spread the risk in the Chelsea v Spurs game so at least I have some Spurs coverage. Stoke scored 2 goals so maybe Eriksen will score some points. I might be hiding behind couch though hoping Hazard doesn't do much.
