West Ham’s want-away Dimitri Payet is excluded from the squad to face Palace. Theo Walcott and Hector Bellerin look set to miss out as Arsenal travel to Swansea, while Chris Brunt will be assessed ahead of West Brom’s visit to Spurs.

Slaven Bilic has conceded that Dimitri Payet won’t be considered for selection after asking to leave West Ham in the winter transfer window. Michail Antonio is currently suffering from a virus but the Hammers boss remains hopeful he will return to training today ahead of a home match with Crystal Palace. James Collins is back in contention after recovering from a calf complaint.

Reports suggest that Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott remain sidelined through ankle and calf problems respectively for Arsenal’s trip to Swansea, with the latter also expected to miss next week’s clash against Burnley. Mesut Ozil is back in contention, though, after recovering from illness.

Heurelho Gomes, Jose Holebas and Juan Camilo Zuniga are all available for Watford’s clash with Middlesbrough. Walter Mazzarri is hopeful on returns for Valon Behrami and Stefano Okaka, though Daryl Janmaat remains a big doubt and Isaac Success is still sidelined through injury.

Victor Valdes and Viktor Fischer are set to return for Middlesbrough’s clash with Watford, though Antonio Barragan and Gaston Ramirez are set to miss out.

Swansea’s Neil Taylor is ruled out for around three weeks with a fractured cheekbone sustained in training. New signing Luciano Narsingh is unavailable to face Arsenal due to a minor calf complaint.

Steven Davis will be assessed ahead of Southampton’s trip to Burnley, though Jordy Clasie has been passed fit after being withdrawn late on during the midweek cup win over Liverpool.

Erik Lamela remains sidelined for Spurs’ home match with West Brom due to an ongoing ankle complaint.

Jamie Vardy and Andy King have both recovered from illness and are available for Leicester’s clash with Chelsea. Leonardo Ulloa is almost certain to miss out due to a thigh problem, while Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that new signing Wilfred Ndidi could be in line for his league debut.

Stoke are without Jon Walters for the trip to Sunderland, with the Irishman set to undergo knee surgery. Bojan is a major doubt due to a hip problem as rumours of a move to Middlesbrough gather pace.

Chris Brunt will be assessed ahead of West Brom’s trip to Spurs after missing the FA Cup clash against Derby due to illness. Jonny Evans remains sidelined through injury, whilst the Baggies are still waiting for clearance on Allan Nyom, who has returned to the club after opting not to play for Cameroon in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Sam Allardyce is optimistic that Christian Benteke will recover from a shoulder problem in time for Palace’s trip to West Ham. James McArthur is expected to be available after returning to full training.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Last season wasn't too bad. Season before that think I racked up 86pts over whole season, so I need to put breaks on otherwise in danger of breaking that.

Fair to say I'm not the most conservative player. Cost me my best chance of a top 1000 finish few years back. I was ranked 800 or so going into final gw and took a 8pt hit. It still pains me and I don't know why I did it. Ended up just missing out at 1,163.

It was cos I only had 2 defenders.,..,at least so I thought. Fergie had said Evans was injured. I took him out for Ivan. Evans played, got a CS and 2 bonus points. Chelsea conceded. Gutted. It was a ridiculously stupid move to make either way though. Ah well, at least I still have that top 1k finish to strive for. I will get it and it'll be be joyous when it happens....just not this season obviously.

I'm looking for some inspiration as to what to do with my two transfers:

    Foster / Pickford*
    Holebas Williams Lovren Cedric Amat
    Siggy Fletcher Firmino Eriksen Sanchez
    Ibra Costa Rondon

    0.3 ITB

I have two free transfers and I'm looking at the switch to 352. Although I just have a feeling that Rondon is going to go on a run after this week.

I like Stanislas so bringing him in for Fletcher would make sense and downgrade Rondon to Crouch/Barnes/Diomande (still undecided on this). I feel Crouch is on a good run and could cause trouble against any opposition so he is my favourite, but Barnes and Dimomande look more nailed on for the long term.

If I went crouch I could play OOA as Lovren going to Utd and Williams hosting City don't look great.

I like slow and steady points - hence the Firmino/Siggy/Eriksen template. Tadic is actually calling to me seeing their run of fixtures coming up, but his stats are woeful. Barkley, Pedro, Snodgrass, Philips all on my watch list.

Thanks for the help, I've waited a long time for these two transfers and don't feel I'm getting anywhere.

Are you open those 3 in your template being broken?
I would use one FT for a premium defender. Williams, Lovren and Cedric are def 2016 . Could use Rose.

Assuming the right players come in then yeah I'm happy to break that template 3. Siggy is pretty close to the door I'm only thinking to give him a look with the new manager.

Yeah I'd really like Rose - Perhaps for Lovren

I could do Fletcher + Rondon + Lovren to Rose + Stanislas + 4.5/7 fwd.

Or I could go Fletcher + Lovren to Chambers + Stanislas

You say you have no Arsenal - do you have any Spurs? Eriksen? I don't think you need Alli if you have Eriksen, if that's the case.

Haz + Anichebe to Giroud and Stan I'd say is an OK -4.

Can you do Haz to Sanchez and Lallana to Alli? DK what you have itb or anything, but that might be another way to do your transfers.

Rondon for me I think but I play different to most.

I don't think you play that different! (to me anyway!)
But I don't fancy Rondon, saying that I'm not so sure how nailed Giroud is.

Maybe we both play different then (quite likely) - cos it seems that nearly everyone is getting Giroud on here and I wouldn't.

Giroud seems to be very very popular on here this week so that means he'll probably do well this weekend.

Giroud for form and fixtures at face value I'd say.

I don't think he'll be dropped with the run he's had... but the nagging doubt in my head about that risk, plus I have no Phillips, meant I actually went Rondon over Giroud. Plan to bring in Arsenal cover in the shape of Ozil or Kosc soon.

Is Costa to Giroud insane if it allows me to do Siggy to Eriksen? I also have Hazard from CHE.

Alternatively, I could do Siggy+Hazard+Anchebe to Giroud+Eriksen+DeRoon+.5ITB for a hit.

Is it for a -4 or -8? The triple transfer looks good if a -4

I have 2 trades at the moment, so the triple transfer would be a -4.

Yep, that looks a decent -4 in that case for the upcoming fixtures.

I'm not convinced by Alli's conversion rate. 7 goals from 8 shots on target is unsustainable. Good player, but Eriksen's set pieces and consistency over long periods sways me.

Even if Giroud gets benched one of these upcoming matches, he's strong off the bench as well, he's gotten points from there before

      True that
I think I'm actually going to take a hit to punt on his form. Everything is lining up after Wally is out next two

Yeah, gtg, every chance McAuley will come on and provide something for you. See what happens this week, no point in making another transfer.

      E.

Siggy out of form (only pts last week from a corner) and Swansea have big question marks over them, whereas Stanislaus has 3 winnable games for Bournemouth, plus frees up some budget.

      Strong trade imo.

This time Barragan will be missing, so Friend must be his straightforward replacement

My defence is a graveyard this week.

    Ake - Brunt - Amat - Cedric - Lovren.

What are peoples' thoughts on Cedric playing this weekend? Was going to transfer him for Rose, but if he's likely to play I'll have to do Ake to Chambers I think.

Reckon Burnley will score at home nonetheless
The more you wait on Rose , he is going to get booked and prevent you

3 times in 12 months City failed to notify FA drug testers of their players whereabouts. In any other sport you would be crucified, even banned. Another embarrassment for the Football Association

a fine, yeah. that'l teach them.
