West Ham’s want-away Dimitri Payet is excluded from the squad to face Palace. Theo Walcott and Hector Bellerin look set to miss out as Arsenal travel to Swansea, while Chris Brunt will be assessed ahead of West Brom’s visit to Spurs.

Slaven Bilic has conceded that Dimitri Payet won’t be considered for selection after asking to leave West Ham in the winter transfer window. Michail Antonio is currently suffering from a virus but the Hammers boss remains hopeful he will return to training today ahead of a home match with Crystal Palace. James Collins is back in contention after recovering from a calf complaint.

Reports suggest that Hector Bellerin and Theo Walcott remain sidelined through ankle and calf problems respectively for Arsenal’s trip to Swansea, with the latter also expected to miss next week’s clash against Burnley. Mesut Ozil is back in contention, though, after recovering from illness.

Heurelho Gomes, Jose Holebas and Juan Camilo Zuniga are all available for Watford’s clash with Middlesbrough. Walter Mazzarri is hopeful on returns for Valon Behrami and Stefano Okaka, though Daryl Janmaat remains a big doubt and Isaac Success is still sidelined through injury.

Victor Valdes and Viktor Fischer are set to return for Middlesbrough’s clash with Watford, though Antonio Barragan and Gaston Ramirez are set to miss out.

Swansea’s Neil Taylor is ruled out for around three weeks with a fractured cheekbone sustained in training. New signing Luciano Narsingh is unavailable to face Arsenal due to a minor calf complaint.

Steven Davis will be assessed ahead of Southampton’s trip to Burnley, though Jordy Clasie has been passed fit after being withdrawn late on during the midweek cup win over Liverpool.

Erik Lamela remains sidelined for Spurs’ home match with West Brom due to an ongoing ankle complaint.

Jamie Vardy and Andy King have both recovered from illness and are available for Leicester’s clash with Chelsea. Leonardo Ulloa is almost certain to miss out due to a thigh problem, while Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that new signing Wilfred Ndidi could be in line for his league debut.

Stoke are without Jon Walters for the trip to Sunderland, with the Irishman set to undergo knee surgery. Bojan is a major doubt due to a hip problem as rumours of a move to Middlesbrough gather pace.

Chris Brunt will be assessed ahead of West Brom’s trip to Spurs after missing the FA Cup clash against Derby due to illness. Jonny Evans remains sidelined through injury, whilst the Baggies are still waiting for clearance on Allan Nyom, who has returned to the club after opting not to play for Cameroon in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Sam Allardyce is optimistic that Christian Benteke will recover from a shoulder problem in time for Palace’s trip to West Ham. James McArthur is expected to be available after returning to full training.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

As soon as BFS gets it together at CPL, Big Scotty will be a real force - I had him in all last season and he got like 5 goals for me! Great value at 5.2, though Bainesy is arguably the man to own at that price bracket right now.

No I don't think it is. Phillips is highly owned amongst the "active" FPL players I'd say by now, so having Rondon might be a real differential (I have Rondon, too!!)

Lallana has Swansea, who look abject, at home next week.

Giroud is on form but always has that nagging question mark about his starting role - plus I imagine you have Sanchez anyway.

So I'd think about it a bit more before pulling the trigger - it's definitely not an awful play but might be a bit more sideways than upgrade

Wow - I'd definitely save the wildcard, but you've doubled down on Hammers. Plus Stones in 2017? Damn haha

Think those are good moves. Payet definitely needs to go, as does Stones. Eriksen and Rose in makes sense, then Phillips and Giroud in afterwards refreshes your team.

Try to stick with this plan lol - I always make them like this and then divert from it as there's some fire to put out haha

Looking to upgrade Capoue to go 3-5-2. Is Ox/Iwobi worth a punt? Walcott out for two plum fixtures so at least one wing is up for grabs.

If so who? Ox more likely to play or impossible to say? (I've got Sanchez)

With Barragan missing, Friend should be starting tomorrow right?
Probably if he takes this chance and performs well, will convince Karanka he deserves to be back into the main frame

Yep, go big or go home! 😛

I'm trying to keep a strong front 7 with good coverage from the top 6 and then rotate and change defenders based on fixtures - we'll see whether it works out!

I'm playing Stanislas. But I could see Phillips nicking a goal or assist. Debating whether playing him ahead of Lallana...

I have Lallana and Phillips too, had locked on Lallana but now your question made me think.
Both MUN and TOT defences will be tight, so if LIV and WBA do anything, these 2 players will be close.
I think I ll stick with Lallana as I feel LIV have more ways to threaten, while TOT have better defence

        Morning all,

quick one here, my friend has made 5 transfers for this GW and is fretting that he has taken a -16 hit. He wanted to use his WC, but is having a panic and is telling me it is too late.

Is there a step-by-step guide for him please?

I believe if he activates his WC now it will cancel out his current minus points. Right?

Been thinking about this all week, every day.
With Wally out for next two I'm definitely looking like doing it come Saturday .
Look at those fixtures , best form striker in the league .
Punts don't get more calculated than this.

Come on do it! It will be much more fun having him in a game against a fragile relegation-candidate team, than not having him and checking the score all the time wishing he does nothing. Now that we know Walcott wont show up, how can you resist???
