The Gameweek gets underway at Villa Park, where United arrive to test Gerard Houllier’s young, injury ravaged side.

The team news finds Patrice Evra fit and in at left-back, with Wes Brown at right-back for the injured Rafael; interestingly he is preferred to John O’Shea who remains benched. Further forward, Nani and Ji-Sung Park take the flanks with Javier Hernandez returning to partner Dimitar Berbatov up front. Despite the recent injuries and illness, it’s a strong United lineup.

As for Villa, their lineup includes yet another youngster as Houllier continues to struggle with injuries, with Jonathan Hogg, who has just one appearance for the club, coming in for the injured Ciaran Clark alongside Barry Bannan in midfield. The headline from their camp however is that Gabby Agbonlahor returns to the forward line, ousting an unfortunate Nathan Delfouneso to the bench.

Things get underway in just under half an hour and as usual, we’ve opened our Dugout Discussion chatroom to cover this game and today’s other kick-offs. Share your Gameweek highs and lows with other Fantasy Managers right here.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

over carroll and drogs who are both at home? i thought adam would have had a better chance of putting up pts. against last place hammers though. plus there was the potential illness issue. even though he's first off the bench, no way he comes on now. most likely not to play would be elmo out of my lot and due to formation he wouldn't get in.

Nice to see that the most overrated manager and the most overrated player in the country are inspiring West Ham to 20th.

        Scott Parker.

After every single West Ham game you hear how brilliant he is, but the fact is that Wet Spam were terrible last season and are even worse this season. If he was so brilliant in the middle of midfield then they wouldn't struggle so badly. He's a classic example of the media loving a player who appears to put a lot of effort in and makes the odd big tackle.

The goals that he has scored this season are just aberration.

Oh I see. Fair enough, I've not watched West Ham much this season or last to be honest. I thought he was all right at the Emirates a few weeks ago at least.

I remember Chelsea players saying Grant's training methods were 30 years old or something like that when he first took over.

Amazing how he gets such an easy time from the English media when his record at English clubs is so poor. Guarantee that if any other foreign manager had done the same then they would have got a battering from the media.

Chelsea - no trophies, nuff said. Several pathetic draws at home cost us the league when it was there for the taking that season. And the Champions League run was more down to the relative ease of the fixtures. Fenerbache, Olympiakos, Liverpool and then Utd.

Portsmouth - finished 20th, even without the points deduction, with a team that proved it's competence in reaching the FA cup final and giving Chelsea a fairly tough game. Amazing that Grant was widely praised for the FA Cup run, when, in my eyes, all it proved was that he had a decent side to work with and should have done much better in the league.

West Ham - need I say anything?

I don't understand at all the reason why the media gives him such an easy time, but there must be some reason.
