Aaron Ramsey is ruled out of Arsenal’s clash with Chelsea and Olivier Giroud requires a late fitness test. Bournemouth’s Charlie Daniels is still sidelined for a trip to Everton, while Virgil van Dijk could be out for up to three months with an ankle injury.

Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are set for late fitness tests ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Chelsea, though Arsene Wenger expects both to be available. Aaron Ramsey is ruled out for three weeks with a calf complaint.

Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson has been ruled out for the season after suffering knee ligament damage in training. Charlie Daniels is also unavailable for the trip to Goodison, though Max Gradel is back in contention after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Calum Chambers has a chance of returning for Middlesbrough’s clash with Spurs, though Gaston Ramirez and George Friend are still unavailable.

Virgil van Dijk has been ruled out for two to three months with an ankle complaint, while James Ward-Prowse and Jay Rodriguez will continue to be assessed ahead of Southampton’s clash with West Ham, Claude Puel has confirmed. Meanwhile, cub-record signing Manolo Gabbiadini looks in line for a debut after arriving from Napoli on transfer deadline day.

Xherdan Shaqiri remains sidelined for Stoke’s clash with West Brom, while Glen Johnson is expected to miss out again. Wilfried Bony and Mame Biram Diouf are back in the squad after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Leon Britton is back in training and comes into contention for Swansea’s trip to the Etihad. New signing Jordan Ayew won’t be available, though, as he is still turning out for Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Sunderland new boys Bryan Oviedo and Darron Gibson will be “in and around the squad” for the trip to Palace, David Moyes has confirmed. Papy Djilobodji serves the second of a four-match suspension.

Steven Defour is sidelined for Burnley’s trip to Watford due to a hamstring problem. New boys Robbie Brady and Ashley Westwood are both available to make their debuts, Sean Dyche has confirmed.

Marco Silva has confirmed that new signings Alfred N’Diaye and Kamil Grosicki are available for Hull’s home encounter against Liverpool. Dieumerci Mbokani is also in contention after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, though Lazar Markovic cannot play against his parent club.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    Or Daniels + Cech >> Baines + Heaton?

    A. McAuley (Have Brunt)+Stanislas -> Holebas+Zaha
    B. Grant+Stanislas -> Jaku+Zaha

    Zaha and Stan have similar stats but given the upcoming fixtures and recent form I'm thinking Zaha.
    Holebas, I know, not such a great choice, but have to free up funds and he's on set pieces.
    Jaku, well, for his price and for one of the blanks.

      Carroll
      This enables Zaha if needed , Zaha is just outstanding value if he can pick up that form which he had. Both actually could be two of the biggest value picks as long as they stay fit.

      I'm still waiting another week to decide this though.
      Big Sam likes to hoof balls, so if he is very vital to palace I don't want to jump on Carroll .
      Good to have third striker worries though , all season long these budget ones have gone missing.

        I don't see them getting hammered at their current state. If so, because of the fatigue (three games in a week).

        Liverpool also not looking like they used to. Mané back could change that, of course.

    Thinking about interchanging KDB and Hazard over the next few weeks with blanks, works out quite well

    GW24 KDB (swa)
    GW25 KDB (bou)
    GW26 Hazard (swa) - KDB blank
    GW27 KDB (sun) - Hazard has west ham away
    GW28 either keep KDB (stoke) or Hazard (watford)

    Sound like a decent plan or a waste of ft's?

      I had a similar idea when I brought KDB in for Hazard, but really, just take it week to week and save some transfers. Hard not to like the idea that mainstream players won't go near him for this run of great match ups coinciding with him really showing good form again as City turn it on. Great if you need to make up some ground.

      At least for GW 26 could simply be easier to stash him on the bench for GW26, especially if Haz is still sucking.

    I've got 2 free transfers to use and 0.4 ITB. Current squad looks like this:

    Forster Grant
    Chambers Yoshida Jones Baines Alonso
    Mirallas Coutinho Hazard Eriksen Davies
    Kane Costa Rondon

    Debating 2 of these:
    Forster > Foster
    Jones > Van Aahnolt
    Hazard > DeBruyne

    I want an attacking defender to go alongside Alonso and Baines.

    Walker, Dann, Van Aanholt are all interesting but they'll probably blank GW28.

    So is it between Coleman (doubling up) and Brunt (who can't keep a clean sheet)?

      Coleman
      If he can keep playing in this formation .
      But I think Walker might outscore him even with a blank purely because Spurs defence can be fixture proof .

    Best Keeper to own under 5.0 till end of season..

      Nobody stands out now, most of these smaller keepers struggle away including Heaton, Valdes and Randolph .
      But I would monitor Randolph if Fonte can help WHU

    hi guys,

    2 FT and 0.4 m in the bank.

    Cech - Pickford

    Baines, Lovren , Brunt, Barragan, Walker

    Sanchez, Phillips, Stanislas, Capoue, Eriksen

    Giroud, Ibra, Costa

    So I was thinking:

    A) Stanislas + Giroud --> Sterling + Carrol
    B) Lovren + Giroud --> Yoshida + Lukaku
    C) XXX + GIroud --> XXX + Jesus
    D) ????
    Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance everyone and GL

    Just used my free transfer for zaha, the boy's been terrific last gameweek. I will definitely make a second transfer though.

    Giroud-->Benteke
    Giroud-->Kane

    Cant decide, benteke has a great run of fixtures and kane has liverpool away next

      I don't think doubling up on Zaha and Bentekkers is a bad move at all mate. Giroud won't be starting this week by the sounds of it

    Foster (STK)

    Brunt (STK)
    Danny (SUN)
    Pieters (wba)

    Stanislas (eve)
    Firmino (hull)
    Ali (MID)
    Sanchez (chelsea)

    Ibra (Lei)
    Aguero (SWA) - (C)
    Gray (wat)

    Benched
    Heaton (wat)
    De Roon (tot)
    Ake (ARS)
    Chambers (tot)

    With just 0.1m ITB, is it worth saving this week?

    My intention is to ship out Ake, one of Aguero or Ibra before the GW 26 blank, and possibly Sanchez after the Hull game.

    Any help would be much appreciated?

      Dont captain kun mate. Clement's been cementing swansea's defence and kun is uncertain of starting. Keep the transfer and captain Ibra or Alli.

        You might be right about the skipper choice. I just feel he will play and silence the doubters. My thinking is he is under pressure to score after the way Jesus played up top

      Yeah - also Spurs for Poch to confirm news on Rose.

      Was considering Bavies - probably gonna go for RFM now - but if Rose is out for the season (seems like it's 4 weeks from reports) I'll reconsider

    Morning all

    How am I looking here? Think I'll be taking Jones out for Funes Mori today. I was considering Bavies but was swayed by some very helpful advice from the community in that Bavies is a transfer out waiting to happen whereas RFM covers me for ages;

    Jaku / Randolph
    Alonso Jones (will be Funes Mori on ft) Brunt / Pieters Amat
    Alli © KdB Antonio Sanchez / Fletcher
    Ibra Kaku Rondon

    Thanks!

        Cheers Ollie!

        I'm doing it because my ML rivals have 2/3 Spurs and will almost all be captaining Kane, so it makes me less exposed. Can't see a way to fit in another Spur sadly apart from if I brought Bavies in 🙁

        Good luck on Kaku. Never again for me!

        I'm going to be shifting for gw26 anyways and have another ft, so I figure I might as well do it now. I think the scouts are right and he'll rotate Smalling in.

        Will wait for pressers though!

        Thanks man
