Manolo Gabbiadini is sidelined for Southampton’s home clash against Bournemouth. Michail Antonio is ruled out of West Ham United’s trip to Hull City, while Salomon Rondon and Nacer Chadli will be assessed ahead of West Bromwich Albion’s match at Manchester United.

Southampton will be without Manolo Gabbiadini for the home clash against Bournemouth, with the Italian international sidelined due to a groin injury. Claude Puel also revealed that Maya Yoshida will be assessed after a long-haul flight back from Japan, while there is bad news on Virgil van Dijk, with the defender unlikely to return this season.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has revealed that Ryan Fraser is “touch and go” for the trip to Southampton due to a hamstring issue. The winger has trained this week, though.

Arsenal will be without Petr Cech and Lucas Perez for the home encounter against Manchester City. Cech, who is also set to miss the West Ham United match on Wednesday, is out with a calf injury, while Perez is sidelined due to a thigh problem. Mesut Ozil featured for Germany over the international break and is set to come into contention for a recall.

Slaven Bilic is without Winston Reid, Michail Antonio and Pedro Obiang for the trip to the KCOM Stadium. Antonio’s hamstring injury isn’t as bad as first feared, though, and he could be fit for Wednesday night’s match against Arsenal. Mark Noble is back in training and available for the Hammers.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera are both still suspended ahead of Manchester United’s home clash with West Bromwich Albion, while Paul Pogba, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are expected to be ruled out.

Salomon Rondon and Nacer Chadli both need to be assessed ahead of West Bromwich Albion’s trip to Old Trafford. Rondon is only returning to the club today following a long-haul flight from South America, while Chadli picked up a shoulder injury while away on international duty with Belgium. Matt Phillips is expected to miss out once again due to a hamstring injury.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche revealed that Johann Berg Gudmundsson isn’t quite ready to return from a knee injury, with the Iceland international set to start training at the start of next week.

Vincent Janssen will be assessed ahead of Spurs’ trip to Turf Moor, having been struck down with a chest infection over the international break.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement will have Martin Olsson and Kyle Naughton available again for the home clash against Middlesbrough, with the pair recovering from hamstring and ankle injuries respectively.

Xherdan Shaqiri is set to miss out for Stoke City ahead of the trip to Leicester City. The Swiss international has had a setback with his calf tissue, after representing his country during the international break.

Sunderland manager David Moyes was able to deliver good news on Lamine Kone and John O’Shea ahead of the trip to Watford. Kone missed the goalless draw against Burnley with a twisted knee, but has returned to training this week, and is set to start. O’Shea, meanwhile, is expected to be available after suffering a shin injury while on international duty. Lee Cattermole and Victor Anichebe are closing in on first-team returns, but the trip to Vicarage Road is likely to come too soon for the pair. Bryan Oviedo and Sebastian Larsson have returned from international duty with no issues.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Hello guys, have been away on vacation for a while.

Need your views on the team below, and on a few potential transfers:

    Heaton (Foster)
    Fonte Mawson Walker McAuley (Love)
    Alli Siggy Mane
    Deeney Llorente Lukaku

    1. Do you think this needs any obvious changes?
    2. Do you think there's anyone I should ship out for Vardy (for a hit)?

I really want to get Vardy in, but Llorente (against Midd in their current state) and Deeney (against Sun) seem like they'll both get points

    3. I'm really considering captaining Deeney - is that a horrible idea?

Thanks a lot for your help!

I really fancy Deeney to do well. Sunderland have terrible defensive stats for shots allowed inside the box - the most in the last four matches. Deeney has a high number of penalty box touches too. Wish I had him

Yeah, Sunderland's bad plus he's been on fine form recently. Which brings me back to not having Vardy, and I feel that'll hurt...

What do you think about 1 and 2?

Ok. Guess I'll wait till tomorrow morning then. Thanks a lot again!

Either keep him (and captain mostly) or swap for Vardy and then captain Vardy

    GTG guys?
    Grant
    Walker Azpi Baines
    Mane Ziggy King Firmino Eriksen
    Costa(c) Lukaku

    Heaton| McAuley Crouch Chamber

Initial plan was Baines to Valencia
    Now considering Costa >Vardy(c)
    Thoughts?

Quite worried Yoshida won't start. Very frustrating as no defender to sub in if he doesn't with two injuries.

    Sun playing for survival...

    B) Captain Tadic (BOU) or Vardy (STO)?

If money is not an issue, would you bring in Alli this GW?

    RMWC:

    Pickford, Valdes
    Alonso, Valencia, Bertrand, Davies, ***
    Pedro, ***, Siggy, Sanchez, Tadic
    Lukaku, Vardy, Gestede

With enough money in the bank to do Vardy > Ibra in GW34

So my choices in the two gaps:

    - Fabio + Eriksen
    - Holegate + Ali

Also Gestede or Barnes as bench fodders?

With all the injuries and suspensions for Man United is it conceivable West Brom defenders could take away points?

"Pogba still out with hamstring problem, Rooney available for United's clash with West Brom. Mourinho reveals Smalling and Jones sustained "long-term injuries" during international break. Ander Herrera and Ibra suspended."
