We delve into the Gameweek 32 Opta data this morning in the first members’ article of the week.

Man City’s in-form front man is amongst a host of candidates under analysis, with a pair of Palace attackers also on our radar ahead of double Gameweek 34. We also assess Spurs’ weekend hero as the transfers-in escalate before taking a look at the downturn in output by Arsenal and Swansea City’s main men.

Also, I'm looking at Redmond & Aguero > Ibra Hazard after this GW.

Although Redmond has a double, Hazard's form can't be ignored surely?

Looks like good moves, Hazard also has better fixtures, so not an issue

Yeah I'd be looking at that. I have Haz already but probably doing the Kun -> Ibra side of that equation.

How's this for a WC attempt?
    Heaton, Pickford
    Bailly, Gibson, Yoshida, Holgate, Pieters
    Hazard, Alli, Eriksen, Zaha, King
    Lukaku, Ibrahimovic, Kane

    Jak 4.0
    Alonso Valencia Bavies Brunt Naughton
    Sanchez Eriksen Alli Siggy Zaha
    Ibra Lukaku Carroll
    0.1ITB 2FT

    A) Carroll, Eriksen and Brunt -> Kane, 4.2mid, Barragan (-4)
    B) Ibra and Bavies -> Kane and Palace defender
    C) Another idea?

With B I'd still have to take -4 to get Ibra back the following week. Thanks

    Morning all.
The form of Son has confused things slightly regarding which of Spur's attack to go with. Assuming Kane starts from here on in where does Son play? How will Spurs likely line-up?

4-2-3-1. Son in midfield. Kane upfront.

Messed around having a look at what my WC team would look like if i played it this week and it's pretty damn good!

The plan was to use it the week before all the DGWs and then do Bench Boost but do we think that the players between now and then could cancel those points out? Could possibly be worth playing WC earlier?

    1. sunzip14
      • 8 Years

I think it is good to even WC now as you almost already know dgw fixtures and you can also get players in good form. you will have few weeks to add extra dgw players anyways. i did it on gw31 and I am happy. Went from 53K to 27K in 2gws.

Did it last week and I'm happy, got 20-25 points more than my gw32 team would have got
I might even go for an earlier bb also

Get Kane by either selling Ibra or taking -4 hit? or save a transfer and hope Kane doesn't do much damage? help much appreciated.

    Valencia, Bavies, Holgate

    Ibra, Lukaku, Origi

Am I the only one considering using TC on a differential? Been stuck between 70k-130k for 7-8 GWs and the only way I can see reaching the top 10k is doing something out of the blue. Looking at these options:

    Gabbiadini (if DGW35): HUL, ARS
    Gabbiadini (if DGW36): liv, ARS
    Zaha/Townsend DGW34: liv, TOT
    Pogba DGW34: bur, mci

Add Redmond, Tadic, Mkhi to the bowl as well. Any of these are capable of 2-3 returns in a DGW. Could be a disaster but also a potential masterstroke. Anyone else thinking along these lines?

Pogba would be be so out of the blue it would turn it into purple.

The other options could be genius though.

Pogba has been very unlucky this season to be fair. Him and KDB seem to be competing for most woodwork attempts.

Arsenal lost 2-0 and 4-0 in their last two league visits to Soton. Gabbi is my prime choice if they get DGW35.

BB in one of those weeks and TC in 37? Gives more quality options to take punts and there wont be any obvious captain pick.

Thanks mate, I got rid of Valencia for Vertonghen in the end btw, think I want to get the cash from him to eventually upgrade Zaha, plus Vert can just sit there til the end of the season and get me 6 points 4 or 5 of the games! So I'm on triple Spurs atm with Vert-Eriksen-Alli... should I capt Kaku to spread the risk? Feels so much like all eggs in one massive basket with Eriksen (c) too, plus I hate early capt 😀

      Hey mate, you done it?

Looking very nice. Valencia I reckon you can dispense with actually, I've gotten rid - just can't see him playing particularly v. Burnley in 33 and Swansea in 35 if they are prioritising the UEL, we saw what happened with Liverpool last year and I wana stay away from United. Ibra I'll get, but I'm even considering (c) Zaha on the DGW over him cos I still think he could be a rotation risk.

        • 10 Years
        8 years, 9 months ago

Yeah I did it! Tbf I should have done it even earlier but now it's catch up time!

Yeah Valencia will go not sure for who though. CBs at United seem pretty nailed. Bailly maybe? Then I'm also not sure on my Zaha/King situation. Got no AOA left so will be a benchimg nightmare in 34/35. Would you choose Redmond/JWP over King?

Ah cool - just like me last week. Realised I'd never improve my OR as I said to you, was stuck at 100k never really going up nor down so needed the boost - at 80 now so hopefully can get so something half decent 😀

Mate I'd probably just stick a not-great midfielder on the bench with a DGW in 37 (4.5) instead of having King, you'll have a perpetual benching headache and you'll want the money to upgrade Zaha in 36 (maybe directly to King). I tend to focus on getting the best XI possible, which tends to mean getting the best front 7 possible, and then working back from there. No point in having King if he's going to be a dead asset and sit on the bench, staring at you with a goal and 3 bonus!

Nice step in the right direction mate! Still stuck at 100k but hoping my WC and Kane (c) will boost me.

Yeah but I want a midfielder with a decent potential for the DGWs. Maybe JWP... The plan is to replace Tekkers with Gabbi/Jesus and Zaha with Sané/Walcott later. Stones for Boro def too

Haha you are literally on the same path as me this year lol

JWP I do like, just about affordable at 5.1 for 5th mid, plus the double double coming up for them. Worth sticking on the bench for sure.

That's my plan, too, probably Sane coming in as Kun will be Ibra and I'll want to redistribute the money. I have Stones as well, oops! lol

What are the bookies odds on Kane getting a hatty Saturday? Assume it must be about evens?

Anyone else own Walker and Valencia and not at all concerned about their minutes? Off the back of an international break and played a lot beforehand. Should both now be refreshed and (in Valencia's case) injury-free

Which SGW players will you keep on WC? Lukaku and no other? Maybe Liverpool-mid few weeks?

don't sure who but I will, defo! 15dgw players may be fools gold. Burned on this many times by selling good players in form to get dgw ones.
Haven't think about it yet but the ones you said I think

Morning all, any thoughts on the following ?

      A. Sanchez & Origi > Zaha & Kane -4
      B. Aguero > Kane

      Jakupovic
      Alonso, Valencia, Pieters (Olsson, Brunt)
      Eriksen, Alli, Sanchez, Coutinho, Siggy
      Aguero, Carroll, Origi

B is favourite. Ditching Alexis is playing with fire imo (remember all those who sold him earlier this season)

I hear you, very tempting to go with A but it will be typical the week we all ditch Sanchez Wenger sticks him up top again !

How many players are we planning to have for dgw 34?? Hardly WC- ing to get them ?? Not that many players worth getting imo.
      I have
      Zaha,
      Valencia,
      Ibra.

      Might get m'boro defender also.

hennessey, barragan, zaha and getting Ibra in - not particularly inspiring a set of DGW fixtures, not sure I'd want 2 of any of those teams and United will be fielding a weakened team at Burnley I suspect, too, with the derby 4 days later.
