The first of five days of Gameweek 34 action gets underway at 3pm, offering up a quartet of fixtures to keep us entertained.

Middlesbrough are the only Double Gameweek team on duty this Saturday as Steve Agnew takes his troops to Bournemouth.

Alvaro Negredo and Ben Gibson were the most popular picks for clashes with the Cherries and Sunderland, transferred in by 193,000 and 112,000 FPL managers respectively.

Up against a defence that’s conceded two or more goals in seven of their last eight at the Vitality, the Spaniard earned second place in our Gameweek 34 Captain Poll, with over 20% backing.

Elsewhere, Romelu Lukaku will be hoping his record against West Ham can remedy a run of one goal in his previous seven road trips – the most owned player in FPL has found the net in each of his last nine head-to-heads with the Hammers.

Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson attempts to halt a run of five straight blanks as Stoke roll up to the Liberty. The Icelandic international earned more transfers out (88,000+) than any midfielder ahead of this afternoon’s deadline.

Hull take on Watford at the KCOM in the other Saturday fixture.

The Tigers have won seven and drawn one of eight matches in all competitions since Marco Silva took charge, suggesting they could deliver some differential options today. With goals in each of his last two appearances, Harry Maguire – boasting a 0.5% ownership – looks the man most likely as the battle to beat the drop intensifies.

Pep-esque tactics by Poch. What will be next, he'll play Kane in goal?

If Poch wanted to play this formation he should have benched Son and played Bavies.

Bavies doesn't offer him enough in the attacking sense + pace to track back. Which is why when Davies is in, he plays 4 at the back.

Davies has played WB in 3 at the back many times this season. He also does have good attacking threat looking at his stats

Who is the best 5.3 or less replacement for Gibson in GW35? Will WC in 36 so it's only for one week.

    Heaton - Pick
    Valencia - McAuley - Mawson - Gibson - Amat

Bournemouth have great fixtures. Pressure is off and they are enjoying their football.

Yoshi probably the obvious replacement but with the fighting and a nasty double in 36, I don't see any appealing game for the bar Middlesborough

I think your right. Big Sam defensive factor plus attacking potential.

Daniels is an option but Bournemouth could easily concede away from home.

Coutinho or Firmino if they score tomorrow. They have a juicy fixture too I might just get one of them on Wildcard for 1 week.

I do not think players this week will rise that fast as most will want to see off all the fixtures and transfer only after Thursday's match.

Wow, I just watched the BOU v MID highlights. Totally average BOU players got to look like Pele today. LOL, I don't even know what you can say as a manager to that squad after a game like that.

    1. Pep says

They're a good squad. Beat Liverpool in a 4 3 thriller and thrashed Hull to nil earlier in the season.

Nice to see 4 goal scorers and 4 assisters for them today
