Gradually weaned off our double fixture helping and returned to normality, the ScoutCast team take time out to pick through the wreckage of Gameweek 34, before we set our sights firmly on what lies ahead.

Wildcards and Bench Boost chips lodged up their end of season sleeves, Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to embrace another round of community questions.

With the rebuilding programme imminent, we take a look at those shot-term punts who can do a job in Gameweek 35, before weighing up single fixture assets who can possibly hold their own amid the forthcoming circus of Gameweek 37.

And, of course, we carry out our weekly appraisal of Alexis Sanchez, as the Chilean hints at a return form just as an irresistable Eden Hazard closes in.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Must be a hard decision if no-one has a clue!

    One week punt before WC?

    A) Kun > Jesus/Gabbi
    B) Siggy > Sane/Arnie (bench JWP (HUL))
    C) Eriksen > Sane/Arnie/Silva

    1. Deulofail
      • 9 Years
      8 years, 7 months ago

      Jak
      Valencia Maguire Brunt
      Eriksen JWP Coutinho Firmino
      Aguero Benteke Kane

      Grant | Bavies, Siggy, Mawson

If Jesus starts, the chances are that he'll replace Kun surely, regardless of the last 10 mins today. Obviously unsure if he starts myself, and then not certain certain he replaces Kun if he does, but you're clearly in the know, so that's my decision made, B or C! Thanks so helpful!

    Rojo - Monreal for a -4?

I'm then looking to make the following transfers in for GW 36 and and Monreal in place for the DGW.

    Aguero - Afobe
    Zaha - Sanchez
    Valdes - DDG

That will be for a -8 hit. So the question is do I take a -4 hit this week followed by a -8? Or -12 the following week? I'm planning on TC Kane this weekend so not necessarily expecting a CS from Monreal, just looking for the best way to limit negative points. I fully expect Mourinho to set Utd up exactly the same way against Arsenal and Spurs, hence choosing DDG over Cech.

Going for Benalouane, but just noticed Morgan is 75%
Any concerns of him being fit enough for the doubles? Although possibility of CS in gw37 arent likely, couple fixtures before hand could be good. Thoughts?

Go safe on Arse defence for the DGWs and pick Monreal? Or take a risk and pay the price for less certain but more explosive Bellerin? Or maybe go cheap with Gabriel and just hope he plays despite being awful?

Wenger seems to think so. I strongly disagree, but as long as Wenger is happy, he stays in the lineup. My fear is that once has Spurs thrashed Arsenal, we have no idea who starts the next match.

I only like Kane of these and would look to bring in two of Costa/Jesus/Gabbi for the other two.

Benteke is rising tonight so I amn thinking in doing this:

    Negredo, Lukaku -> Benteke, Gabbiadini

This will give these 8 mids/fwds:

    Sanchez/Hazard/Alli/Eriksen/Zaha
    Kane/Benteke/Gabbiadini

So next week I would bench Sanchez probably....

    Thought please?
