The first double-gameweek of the season rolls on with two fixtures tonight, as Newcastle United host Manchester United, and Everton face Bolton Wanderers. The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open to capture you views on the events as they unfold.

Again the drama starts tonight with the (sometimes untrustworthy) incoming team news, but here are the official line-ups…

Newcastle XI: Krul, Simpson, Coloccini, Williamson, Santon, Ryan Taylor, Tiote, Cabaye, Gutierrez, Shola Ameobi, Ba

Man United XI: Lindegaard, Valencia, Ferdinand, Jones, Evra, Park, Carrick, Giggs, Nani, Berbatov, Rooney

Two changes for the home, as Gabriel Obertan misses the opportunity to face his former club. Also out is Haris Vuckic, with Davide Santon and Shola Ameobi starting for the Magpies.

As for the visitors, Sir Alex drafts in Anders Lindegaard, Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney for the trip to St. James Park.

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Donovan, Neville, Heitinga, Osman, Stracqualursi, Saha

Bolton XI: Bogdan, Steinsson, Cahill, Knight, Ricketts, Mark Davies, Muamba, Reo-Coker, Petrov, Eagles, Ngog

Whilst the game in the North-East will hold the attention of most, fantasy managers will have one eye on the game at Goodison Park, where Everton play their first fixture of two this gameweek.

David Moyes boldly goes with two strikers up front and starts Landon Donovan for the first time in his two-month loan period.

The Bolton team news is that Gary Cahill starts, despite his expected imminent move to the capital.

Follow the action in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

Tasty fixture for United next week. How much do we think Ferguson will rotate the squad? Any chance of Nani or Jones being dropped?

There is only Cleverley really who should be ready next week. Not sure how close Young is to fitness.

Smalling and Evans. We really need a steady team from now on in. It's unbelievable we're only 3 points behind considering our injuries.

Indeed, it's a miracle considering some of the results. I'm not actually sure what our first XI is now, but considering we're out of the CL there's no reason they can't start every PL game.

Comparing points from one season to another is always irrelevant. Different teams, different title challengers, etc.

I'd expect Man City to get more points than United did last season.

United haven't got any worse/better than last season, Man City have just raised the bar.

It has to be Jones and Carrick centre mid. SAF needs to decide Jones position. You can't chop and change to a different position every week. His instincts now seems to be to push upfield even as a CB.

Not enough creativity. Cleverley and Carrick in midfield. Jones can wait, he's only 19 after all.

I'd prefer Rooney or Giggs in central midfield, Jones best position was right back imo.At leas there he could get forward without leaving the defence exposed.

For now at least I think he's best at right back. I don't think he's experienced enough for centre back, or creative enough for central midfield.

A WC Draft before I hit the sack.

    Vorm. Sorenson
    Kompany. Skrtel. Simpson. Caulker. Kelly
    Silva. Bale. Dempsey. Sessegnon. Moses.
    Sturridge. Aguero. Van Persie.

    £ 1.6 million in Bank,

    1) Solid DEF and Keepers to play at Home or easy Away fixtures.
    2) 4 strong starters with a SuperSub 😛
    3) Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Spurs attack well invested in.

    Look good?

Hah. I see why you commented on mine now. Very similar. I guess I'd say looks good then :D. I'd be a touch concerned about double Swansea defence, their home fixtures aren't that great for a while. But that would be my only gripe.
