Excess baggage checked in, deckchairs reserved and sun block applied – the Scoutcast team are all ready to hit the beach.

Smack in the middle of Gameweek 37, with points flowing from all angles, not even Hal Robson Kanu’s late goal can upset the pre-vacation mood.

Stringing five men across the midfield, Luke and Az join Jonty, Andy and myself for a bumper end of season episode as we tackle another volley of questions from you, the community.

We conduct a post-mortem on the flurry of chips, weigh up the Gameweek 38 punts, put together our final day Wildcard XI and take a look back on our own personal highs and lows of a topsy-turvy season.

After 128 minutes of that lot and sunstroke already setting in, we even forget to chat captains and transfers come the end, only to make amends later.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link on the first player below, or take in the full visual experience via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Next season I'm spending the first 2 months chasing a good TV. and forgetting about OR and rivals.

As these last two 2 dgws have shown, you can easily cut down a deficate with the right team.

"Deficate" was an epic auto-correct 😀

And yes, that strategy worked for me this year.

I tend to think by chasing a good OR you get a good TV as a result.

Not really. The quick price rises a found mostly with mid priced points chasing. Capoue for instance

To an extent. The extra TV I had accumulated meant I could get Kosc and Gabbiadini over Monreal and Anichebe. Didn't really help me in the end.

Have a look at the state of some of the teams in your ML . The ones who tried their best with their gw36 WC but were found wanting due to a low TV.

Why would you worry about rival's in the 1st 2 months? That seems like a boring way to play the game

How is not paying attention to your mini league rank and rivals more exciting?

Now that was a result - despite only having Kane tonight, only lost 29 places. Thought it would be more with the Eriksen no-show and Alli & Davies assists.

My team is pretty template: Ars defence, Sanchez, Kane, Jesus etc.

This is the team that trails me by 22 points:

    Forster Grant

    Valencia Stones Holebas Cedric Monreal

    Sane Pedro Sanchez Walcott Tadic

    Aguero Rashford Negredo

    Any chance I'll be caught?

On paper it doesn't look great but it's ranked 2k

Kane Captainers for next gw are you not worried that spurs team might be a little leggy ? (only 2 days rest)

Liverpool has had 6 days rest

    City/Arsenal has 4 days

    Chelsea 5 days rest

I think this will make likes of coutinho jesus and costa/hazard better capteincy picks

Thoughts anyone? 1FT. 1.4 in the bank.
Lack of Coutinho and Gabbiadini my main concerns.

    Caballero
    Monreal - Alonso - Holding
    Redmond - Pedro - Sanchez - Sane
    Gabbiadini - Jesus - Kane

    Pickford - Vertonghen - Stephens - Albrighton

20 points ahead of ML rival. He has Kompany De Bruyne and Eriksen (against my Monreal Sane and Alli) as 3 main differentials and almost certainly bringing in Coutinho for Hazard and Rooney for Rashford to try and overtake me. Any changes I should probably make with 1 free transfer or just stick?

    Caballero
    Monreal Yoshida Alonso
    Sanchez Hazard Alli King Sane
    Kane Jesus

    Pickford BDavies Gabbiadini Mustafi
