With the elongated Gameweek 20 finally sewn up, it’s time to look ahead to the weekend action. For eight fantasy managers, that means Quarter-Final time in the Paddy Power Cup V. Having battled through eight stages, they are just one win away from the prize-winning games. Here is the line-up…

At the time of writing, first out of the hat Sc8tt26 is the highest-ranked fantasy manager left, and is the only one in the top 1000 overall. If he’s considered the top-seed, then he’s been drawn against the second in Funkyav. Was it not for an abysmal Gameweek 20 score, the tables would be turned and Funkyav would be the man to beat.

Declan faces-off against Raasclart, whilst the last round’s top-scorer, CSKA AWFUL, takes on sleepingmaster. Finally, having reached the Quarters by the skin of his teeth, ChickenDevil comes up against soulman27.

            Big Mac was on 5% yesterday. The new tweet hints at some gametime so 80% may even be a conservative estimate.

            The last time I answered one of these things, someone asked for a % of Torres scoring (this was back in week 3 when Nando was reasonably popular on here) and I said 2%. Everyone slaughtered me but it was based on the evidence of 1 goal in 20 games. The rest is, er, history. 😉

        It's just one of those things. I was right in justifying picking VDV ahead of him, as in my head VDV only needed to score once to outscore BAE. It's just one of those once in a blue moon thing (although would have been lovely to have had him!!!)

    I'm on my WC this week and was initially thinking of bringing in Richards and Caulker. But after last nights performance from BAE, I was thinking of keeping him in my team and bringing Clichy in instead. Does anyone know how nailed on is Clichy for City?       Pros: Seems to be starting, on pens, free kicks, takes decent shots from outside the box.
      Cons: Very pricey, not on any kind of form really. Takes up a very important midfield space.

      It's up to you really...could go either way the next 3 games.

      He's actually in great form - the sub appearances were great, and obviously yesterday also.

      The play went throough him a lot last night - and I can only hope he does more for Liverpool... the away games to Bolton and Wolves now look really winable with his authority in full bloom!

      I can see quite a few assists, bonus points, and goals from Gerrard.

      STOKE, bolton, wolves - these should all be wins for Liverpool
