The final countdown has begun with the new season kick-off now less than 24-hours away.

Earlier the week the ScoutCast grew gathered as the clock ticked down, with Jonty, Andy and Luke joining myself to tackle a raft of perfectly targeted questions from you – the community.

Each of us take turns to reveal our current line-ups, while the collection of queries allowed us to put each of the four positions under the microscope. On occasions, we even broke from the ScoutCast tradition to provide some definitive answers.

Pre-season gremlins struck as I dropped out in full flow on Paul Pogba, but I managed to return to steer the ship towards its final destination – the first weekend preview of the new campaign.

It’s good to be back.

    I have 0.5 ITB, any suggested improvements? Pretty happy with it, would love some Man U attack but can't find the area to get it.

    Which of those do you think will score more? Your team get so more balanced without Kane I feel. I really see some value in Gabbi & Firmino (sturridge out, and might be on pens)

        Not sure he's nailed or will be subbed regularly, had him end of last year and he did nothing, already have Gabbi, like Bournemouth and Fraser has been a beast when starting and fit...

        I don't agree with the slow starter stuff either, I just really want more Man City cover and feel the whole Kane could do OK, he could easily be quite quiet over the first few fixtures.
