Alexis Sanchez will sit out Arsenal’s season opener against Leicester City, but Mesut Ozil is expected to be available. Gareth McAuley is sidelined for West Bromwich Albion’s trip to Bournemouth, who are missing Junior Stanislas. Meanwhile, Cedric Soares’ fitness will be monitored as Southampton prepare to host Swansea City.

Arsene Wenger will be without the suspended Laurent Koscielny for tonight’s home clash against Leicester City, while Alexis Sanchez is also absent due to an abdominal injury.

There are also a number of doubts, including Mesut Ozil (ankle), Aaron Ramsey (calf), and Shkodran Mustafi (lack of match fitness), though Ozil confirmed he returned to full training yesterday and appears to have a good chance of starting.

Leicester City trio Robert Huth (ankle), Danny Drinkwater (thigh), Vicente Iborra (groin) will all miss the trip to the Emirates. Kelechi Iheanacho has shaken off a minor toe problem, though, while Islam Slimani is also available after recovering from a gashed leg.

Gareth McAuley (thigh) and James Morrison (knee) will both miss the visit of Bournemouth to the Hawthorns, but Jonny Evans (hamstring), Nacer Chadli (hip), Chris Brunt (calf) should be available.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe revealed that Junior Stanislas is out for out to a month due to a groin injury. Steve Cook and Jermain Defoe are expected to be contention for the visitors.

Troy Deeney is a doubt for Watford’s home encounter against Liverpool, having only been able to take a limited part in training prior to today due to a groin problem.

Ross Barkley (groin) and James McCarthy (knee) will both miss Everton’s home meeting with Stoke City, though Wayne Rooney will start for the Toffees, manager Ronald Koeman has confirmed.

Earlier this morning, Stoke City manager Mark Hughes confirmed that he hopes to have defender Bruno Martins Indi on board in time for the Goodison trip.

Virgil van Dijk is unavailable for Southampton’s home encounter with Swansea due to illness. Meanwhile, the fitness of right-back Cedric Soares will be monitored after he arrived back late for pre-season due to international duties with Portugal.

Tammy Abraham looks set to be available for Swansea City’s trip to St Mary’s following a minor groin issue but fellow frontman Fernando Llorente misses out with an arm complaint.

    Foster 4.5
    Lindelof 5.5, Bertrand 5.5, Lowe 4.5
    Mane 9.5, Salah 9.0, Alli 9.5, Atsu 5.0
    Firmino 8.5, Jesus 10.5, Lukaku 11.5

Subs: Elliott 4.0, Carroll 4.5, Rangel 4.0, Brad Smith 4.0
    0.0 ITB

    1) Will I regret leaving out Kane for Jesus?(!)

    2) Keep Salah (9.0) or bring in Zaha (7.0) to leave 2.0 ITB if I do regret leaving out Kane?

    3) Don't know how nailed on Lindelof is...is Man U defensive cover imperative? Alternatives is Lindelof's a bad shout?

    Thanks!

I've gone for jones. I've heard he's nailed on. I could upgrade to bailly but I kind of want to keep that extra mil for flexibility

A bad Southampton day will be hitting you hard, but hard to argue with those fixtures.

    This is too stressful.

    De Gea - Elliott
    Bertrand - Yoshida - Ake - Mee - Suttner
Mkhitaryan - De Bruyne - Zaha - Gross - Carroll
    Kane - Lukaku - Gabbiadini

    0.0 ITB.

I can get Trippier for Bertrand when he comes back. I don't like Arsenal's fixtures. Maybe I could downgrade Gabbiadini and upgrade Gross. Thoughts?

Good team. I'd keep it. I'm currently on Abraham but considering the opposite, upgrading to Gabbi.

Please RMT - I really want to set this and be done with it!

    Heaton
    Bertrand Baily Dawson
    KDB Alli Ward-Prowse Ritchie
    Lukaku (C) Jesus Firmino

    Elliot - Carroll - Mee - Goldson

Am I going to regret not having Kane? I feel it is balanced enough and I really like having Firmino has my 3rd Striker.
Any ideas on a way to trim .5 to upgrade Heaton to Loris or DDG?

£24.5m to spend on defenders, what would be best:

    a) 4 x £5.0 and 1 x £4.5m

    b) 1 x £5.5m, 2 x £5.0m and 2 x £4.5m

All depends. Plenty of choice at 4.0 too.

I'd suggest: pick two mainstays at 5.5 or more, and the remaining three to rotate or transfer, according to the fixtures. Make sure you have one low ownership starter at 4.0-4.5.

This way, you could change one defender every two-tree weeks, to get the best out of them.

Thoughts please. Not sure of Dann, ideally wanted Cedric over Yossie but there concerns about whether he will play or not. Not sure whether Zaha will fair better than Fab or Willian? Did have Mounie & JRod, but have opted for Tammy now....

    Forster

    Yossie, Dann, Alonso (Hefele) (Mariappa)

    KDB, Zaha, JWP, Salah (Chalobah)

    Kane, Lukaku, Tammy

    A or B

    B = Kompany + Davies
