Alexis Sanchez will sit out Arsenal’s season opener against Leicester City, but Mesut Ozil is expected to be available. Gareth McAuley is sidelined for West Bromwich Albion’s trip to Bournemouth, who are missing Junior Stanislas. Meanwhile, Cedric Soares’ fitness will be monitored as Southampton prepare to host Swansea City.

Arsene Wenger will be without the suspended Laurent Koscielny for tonight’s home clash against Leicester City, while Alexis Sanchez is also absent due to an abdominal injury.

There are also a number of doubts, including Mesut Ozil (ankle), Aaron Ramsey (calf), and Shkodran Mustafi (lack of match fitness), though Ozil confirmed he returned to full training yesterday and appears to have a good chance of starting.

Leicester City trio Robert Huth (ankle), Danny Drinkwater (thigh), Vicente Iborra (groin) will all miss the trip to the Emirates. Kelechi Iheanacho has shaken off a minor toe problem, though, while Islam Slimani is also available after recovering from a gashed leg.

Gareth McAuley (thigh) and James Morrison (knee) will both miss the visit of Bournemouth to the Hawthorns, but Jonny Evans (hamstring), Nacer Chadli (hip), Chris Brunt (calf) should be available.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe revealed that Junior Stanislas is out for out to a month due to a groin injury. Steve Cook and Jermain Defoe are expected to be contention for the visitors.

Troy Deeney is a doubt for Watford’s home encounter against Liverpool, having only been able to take a limited part in training prior to today due to a groin problem.

Ross Barkley (groin) and James McCarthy (knee) will both miss Everton’s home meeting with Stoke City, though Wayne Rooney will start for the Toffees, manager Ronald Koeman has confirmed.

Earlier this morning, Stoke City manager Mark Hughes confirmed that he hopes to have defender Bruno Martins Indi on board in time for the Goodison trip.

Virgil van Dijk is unavailable for Southampton’s home encounter with Swansea due to illness. Meanwhile, the fitness of right-back Cedric Soares will be monitored after he arrived back late for pre-season due to international duties with Portugal.

Tammy Abraham looks set to be available for Swansea City’s trip to St Mary’s following a minor groin issue but fellow frontman Fernando Llorente misses out with an arm complaint.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    a) mkhi + gabbiadini + yoshida
    b) salah + rodriguez + yoshida
    c) redmond + firmino + yoshida
    d) mane + abraham + yoshida
    d) mane + rodriguez + 4.5 defender (already have Mee on the bench)

currently on A - already have lukaku, but have no liverpool representation - if D which defender? I feel like Mkhi+Gabbi should do better than liverpool+6.0/5.5 striker, but I'm worried I'm missing out on liverpool

Can someone please rate my team, I'm concerned my bench isn't cutting the mustard!

    Foster
    Walker - Bertrand - Daniels
De Bruyne - Redmond - Zaha - Alli
    Jesus(V) - Rodriguez - Lukaku(C)

    Elliott - Carroll - T Smith - Rangel

    Thanks

You're good to go. No point in leaving value on the bench. Once the season gets under way in earnest you can find cheap playing options to put on the bench in time for when the rotation starts to occur

    RMT

    Hennessey
Dann (will trade for Trippier when he's fit) - Luiz - Kompany - Cedric
Iwobi - De Bruyne - Alli - Milivojevic
    Kane - Jesus

Bench; Elliot - Gray - Carroll - Lejeune

    Cheers,

    RMT
    Elliot, DeGea
    Daniels, Bertrand, Cedric, Rangel, Alex-Arnold
    Alli, DeBruyne, Zaha, Capoue, Allen
    Lukaku, Chicharito, Jesus

Really not sure about the defense.
Also, should I get rid of Jesus and get Kane?

Very fragile. Cedric is still a doubt for GW1, Rangel won't start, Alex-Arnold may only be in until Clyne is fit. Capoue and Allen are obviously selected based on hot spells last season and I wouldn't bank on them repeating that. Early fixtures for Chicharito are not favourable, I wouldn't put him in from the start

1.5m spare, just downgraded my defence to free the funds up - planning on playing 3-4-3 each week.

Thoughts on how to use spare budget?

    Forster (Elliot)

    Ok, four questions:

    1. least risky 5.5 Manu defender? currently on Lindelof
    2. Why is Jones expected to start instead of Smalling/Lindelof?
    3. Cedric nailed GW2 onwards?
    4. Mendy back for City when?

    De Gea
    Bertrand - Valencia - Danilo
    Fabregas - Ward-Prowse - De Bruyne - Zaha - Ritchie
    Lukaku (C) - Jesus

    (Elliot, Rodriguez, Mee, Clark)

    Rating 1-10?

    Thoughts:
    – Mee/Zaha for Loftus-Creek or Milivojevic/Alonso and play 4-4-2?
    – Zaha/Rodriguez -> Loftus-Creek or Milivojevic/Firmino and play 3-4-3?

    Thanks.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated!!!!
    So much doubt!

    Foster (Elliot)
Kolasinac - Davies - Francis (Mee - Tuanzebe)
Salah - KDB - Zaha - Iwobi (Carroll)
    Lukaku - Kane - Gabbiadini

I'm going to switch Davies to trippier once he's back, and Iwobi to some midfield revelation once Sanchez and Ozil return.

Mane to start with based on experience if you can afford him. Then monitor Salah and you can always afford to switch later if Salah performs

Hi all, what's the verdict? I'm pretty happy at last but any pointers would be great:

I quite like it.. Others won't due to lightweight defence though.

Personally I'd swap Lacazette for Jesus, since the latter has proven Prem form. Plus MCI > ARS for goals scored
